esprit watch — Watch not functioning
I bought Espirit wristwatch (Date of purchase: 02/07/2010) SKU:4960528 worth Rs 4495/- from Shopper's Stop, Inorbit Mall, Cyberabad.Tel:[protected]Within two weeks the watch stopped functioning and had to take it to customer service at Shopper's Stop. The retail operations manager Manoranjan Das and Department Manager Ravi Kumar claimed that the watch is fine and it needs to be checked .
The behaviour of these two people was callous as they went on and on saying that the problem is only with the battery.They sent my watch to Espirit service center.(Date: 13/8/2010)
My watch was given back to me on 4th September, 2010.
After two weeks the watch again stopped functioning. The watch starts working only when I change the time and works for two -three hours and again stops.
I again took the watch to the same customer service at Shopper's Stop and this time they kept my watch for observation.
The next day a customer service guy again called up and said that the watch is working and nothing is wrong with the watch.
I am perplexed that the watch which was unable to run for 5-6 hrs at a stretch has not stopped for a full 24 hours.
They had requested that they will observe the watch for another two days and will call again.
I would like to register a complaint against Shopper's Stop customer service for lying & bad rude behaviour to customers and Espirit brand for coming up with watches that has manufacturing defects.
I would like to have a replacement of this watch.

Esprit — not working
Hi ,This is to bring to notice that is had purchased an espirit watches from shoppers stop andheri for almost 7000 rupees , within 1 year of its purchase water started accumulating inside the glass. i was quite surprised as the reason was washing hands and not rains.
I got it serviced 1 time and the problem reoccured after their tenure of 1 year warranty , now it has completely stopped working , please let me know what has to be done for this , 7000 is not a small amount , i know i should have gone for titan which i dint , atleast they would have provided soulution for this.
esprit watch — Keeps stopping to run
Had purchased a Espirit watch from your chennai store on 8 th june 2011. By July, it had stopped running. Took it to your hyderabad store, where i live, for a check. They sent it to mumbai and gave it back after 2 weeks. It again stopped again y'day and shop again says they would like to send it to mumbai instead of sending it back to espirit and getting a replacement or money back.Pls tell me why i should continue to shop at Shopper's stop.

I Bought an Espirit collection watch almost 3-4 months back, in the very first month i have to send the watch to service center as the same was not working, then i received my watch almost 1.5 months from the date i had sent it to service center. now my watch 2 diamonds has came out from the front design, ( i was earlier ensured the same wont came out). i am seriously not satisfied with the product quality and after sales service. Model no. of my watch is 101132.

I WENT TO PURCHASE A WATCH FROM SHOPPERS STOP TO PRESENT TO MY DAD AS A GIFT .I LIKED ONE ESPIRIT WATCH COSTING RS.5500 JUST THE THING WAS IT'S LINK/CHAIN WAS A BIT SMALL.I ASKED THE SALESMAN THAT CAN IT BE EXTENDED HE SAID YES.I WAS READY TO PAY THE FULL AMOUNT THAT DAY ITSELF BEFORE GETTING THE CHAIN EXTENDED BUT THEY SAID THEY KEEP THAT WATCH RESERVED FOR ME N ILL GET IT THE NEXT DAY.I ASKED THEM AND CONFIRMED 4 TIMES THAT WHEN SHOULD I COME BACK TO GET THIS WATCH BECAUSE IT COSTS LOT OF TIME,EFFORT AND MONEY FOR ME TO REACH SHOPPERS STOP(CAMP,PUNE OUTLET) BECAUSE I STAY AT A PLACE 40 KMS AWAY FROM SHOPPERS STOP.I WAS BEING CONFIDENTLY TOLD BY THE SALESMAN THAT ILL GET THE WATCH THE NXT DAY. AFTER THAT I WENT THERE 2 TIMES MORE AFTER GAP OF 2 DAYS BUT I DIDNT GET IT DONE ON MY THIRD VISIT I WAS BEEN TOLD SORRY IT'S NOT POSSIBLE. THEN ALSO I PURCHASED IT IN THE WAY IT WAS BCOZ I LIKED IT.ON THE DAY WEN I PRESENTED IT TO MY DAY THE FIRST TIME HE WEARED IT THE CHAIN BROKED OUT.IS THIS THE PRODUCT QUALITY OF WATCH COSTING RS 5500.I AM A STUDENT I BOUGHT IT FROM MY SAVINGS N IT WAS MY FIRST PRESENT TO MY DAD.I FELT SO BAD WEN IT BROKED DOWN.
THEN I VISITED SHOPPERS STOP N THEY SAID THEY LL REPAIR N RETURN IT TO ME AT MY ADDRESS IN 10 DAYS.I SAID OK.15 DAYS ARE OVER AND THERE S NO RESPONSE FROM THM........
