Eurekha Forbes — AMC warranty card not returned | |||
Hi..I am geetha I purchased an aquagaurd water purifier in blore with 3yrs amc warranty. when i moved to chennai, i had purchased a vaccum cleaner through eureka forbes and the sales agent took the waterprufier amc card stating that he will get the addresses updated for the water purifier and the vaccum cleaner and return them both. its been an year that this has happened and i have still not recd the amc card. recently i had contacted them for servicing my aquagaurd which needed the candles to be replaced.the person came home and checked and said tht he cant replace the candles since there is no AMC,though the AMC was still available. when i call the blore call center, they are able to update me on the AMC details but the chennai call center people cant do it. the service is very worst, i advise not to buy these products since the service is really bad. i hope the sales guy will return my AMC card at least for my vaccum cleaner. Eurekha Forbes — Nobody attended the free servicing cycle
I have purchased the Eurekha Forbes (booster model) on[protected]. At the time of purchase the executive Mr Srikanth promised to give a carry bag free but till now i have not received any thing. We had a bit of argument and he said "I will see that your product will not get any service" And no one attended the free servicing till now.When i called the secunderabad branch there was no proper response. Surprisingly after completion of one year there was a call from an executive to get it serviced. When i asked about the free serivce they said one year is complete and i have to pay for the serivce for which i paid. The guy started following up to change the candels aswell... In march 2009 the guy again followed up to do a second service and change the inside candles. I paid him 850 Rs and had the servicing and candles changed.
Unfortunately the machine started giving problems. It was giving breaks while filtering the water but started working automatically. We had to go out of station for 2 months and could not complain about the problem..... Now the machine is totally dead.
On[protected] we made a complain and no one attended the problem till now. The engineer called me on 22nd evening and in the discussion he says that its common that machines get into problems. When i said i will escalate to higher authorities he said he does not care and i can complain to whom ever i can....
I am not satisfied with the way the engineers or the sales executives behaved with me...When they want to sell the products they follow up so many times and plead us to take the product. After the sale is complete they show the high tone of authority as if they are doing a free charity.
Eurekha forbes needs to train the staff on how to talk to the customers.

The service personnels they change anything if it is not done properly then the water will leak into electrical parts and corrode it. In your case you left it in faulty condition for two months by the time you came damage was done. You call a local electrician and let him open the unit in front of you and let him quote a price. After all electrical wiring is made ok do the water leak test and make sure all are tighten and no water leaks for more than few hours. This is to be done before it is boxed up. After using make a practice to shut main water supply to the purifier.
Eurekha Forbes — Not Servicing Under Warranty Water Filter for almost 1 month!
My water filter suddenly stopped working. I filed a Service Complaint (Ref.[protected] on 27th April, 08. Today it's 23rd May, 2008 and the company has still not yet serviced the water filter. This is despite more than 8 calls being made. Not only is this extremely frustrating as there's no drinking water at home and therefore I have to spend a lot of money (so far more than Rs. 3, 700/-) on packaged water. The call centre helpline is disastrous as it takes a minimum of 12 minutes (upto 18 minutes once!) to get through their representative.
