[Resolved]  Fake Call From Pakistan +92 Airtel — Fake calls for 25 lakhs lottery from airtel (but actually it is from pakistan)

today ,12 dec 2011, Monday morning, I (R.K.Singh- [protected]) receieved a call on my airtel no. from [protected]. and was told that i have won a lottery worth 25 lakhs from an agency promoted for lucky numbers. and that person also told me to call to Mr.Ram Singh (Sr. Superwiser). Mr.Ram Singh's no. is [protected].

Please, Request you to kindly investigate the matter immediately. & control this type of activity.

I also received a call from a[protected] stating that you have won an Airtel KBC sim lottery of INR 10 lacs and asked me to call at[protected].Also they took my PAN number and told, me that I will receive an SMS and kindly open the SMS 5 minutes after receiving it. So I grew suspecious and found out that these numbers are from Pakistan.Kindly let me know if there are any negatives of this.
I WOULD REQUEST AIRTEL TO PLEASE TAKE CARE OF THIS.

I got a missed call from [protected] and unknowingly I called back and they said you have won 25 lacs from vodafone . after that my husband told me this number is from pakistan and neevr eevr call back on these numebrs and we filled a police complaint.

yes, same thing happened with me, take care, Do not call to any one...

These guys are from Pakistan who are making these calls. They are so dumb that they keep using the same lottery amount and talk in Urdu Punjabi accent and act as if they are calling from Mumbai. I just hope people do not fall prey to these fake imposters and disclose their numbers. Fake Lottery for Rs. 25 Lakhs. Phone number from where I received a call was [protected]. Never disclose your account number to anyone. Screw you Pakis. Get a life!

i also got same fake call to my airtel from pakistan +[protected] aand told me you won 25lac from airtel so you can call [protected] when he told me double zero then i got doubted and search in google and i got this forum thread, i really thank to you all people, i got some relax after read this reviews.

Even I got a missed call from a number [protected] today (30th December 2011) at 10:35 AM. I believe these are fake calls from Pakistan, don know what to do ?

Today I also i got a miss cal from [protected] and upon calling back, the person in hindi speaking language told me to check my sim number with the number he gave and if the numbers matches i have won 50 lacs rupees and to call him back, but i did not call and after an hour i got another miscal from this same number. Is this a joke or fake calls, Airtel company please rectify and also don't allow such fake calls to be made in the company' name. From Nazilla- Shillong, Meghalaya

I too Got a fake call from +92 country code saying that i won 20 Lakhs. Do we have any procedure to block this number.

I also got a call today from [protected]. and at the time i got the call i GOOGLED the number and there were hell lot of complaints. This is the pakistan number and whn i told tht guy tht why are you calling from Pakistan? there was no answer thn he gave me another Number stating tht i won 25 lac. and told me to call on [protected]. Dont not call back on all those number or any number tht starts from +92..

I also got missed call from number [protected] twice and not called back. Earlier to this about 3 months ago similar call from other nos where my prepaid balance of Rs. 657/- got deducted automatically. Kindly be aware of such nos.

we have an Airtel GSM number and today we have received a missed call form [protected] and when we call back a male person ask that you won 10L rupees and please share the detail about you. but we disconnect the call and it cost us 22 Rs then we found that this is a international no. and belongs to Pakistan.

i got a missed call from number [protected], when i pick the pick, immediately he/she disconnected the phone. i dont know y they disturb indian peoples.

Hello Guys I Have got same call today in morning and i was really suspicious because when i started to speak in english he was replying in Hindi only.
Apart from that he has confirmed a number which is on back side of sim card so i was very suspicious, later he told to do recharge of 333 Rs and your call will be free for 2 days but than i checked by calling my brother and it wasn't like that.
This is really a big issue i am not sure where it will lead but i request all of you guys that at least contact with Vodafone Office and not take this things lightly.

This is correct as my husband has also received missed call from mobile number[protected] on 25th Feb. 2012 at 08:39 hrs and when he called back, he was told by the guy over phone that he has been selected for lottery of Rs. 50 Lakh.

We dont know how these people scan our mobile numbers and give a calls. There shud be some catching legal eye for all such issues where we can register complaint againt such people and some authority shud be there to take action against these people who ditch people.
