[Resolved]  Fake Call From Pakistan +92 Airtel — Fake calls for 25 lakhs lottery from airtel (but actually it is from pakistan)

i also got a call (26/02/2012) from +121. He said that he is calling from airtel costumer care and this number won a lottery worth 25 lakhs rupees. He asked me to call on another number [protected] and talk to Rohit Sharma, Bank Manager of SBI for collecting the money.
i called that person but he was interesting in my any account no or pan card no. i disconnect the call. it was a fake call. I informed the airtel costumer care about thus call and gave them the number i called.
Can this lead to some problem.

Today i got a missed call from [protected] and when i call back then he tolled me you have won 25 lakh case. To claim lottery you call to no.[protected], but before calling i checked on internet and found it is fake. There is some thing by air tel.

I got a missed call on my no on 3/3/2013 from no[protected] and he told me the same story that my no has been choosen from KBC and I need to ring [protected] . I rang this no and he told me that I have won 25 lakhs i need to give him my acc details. He also sugg that I should not tell this to anyone as it is a big amount and my life could be in danger.That once I claim the amount sony channel will take my 5 mins interview. So after the call I straight away went on the internet. So warning to all the people to be careful from these scammers.

Dear sir, i have got the call from cell phone no [protected], saying you have win the lottery and get money from mumbai bandra base our office, he said his name is vikas Manohtare his email id is [protected]@yahoo.com, he said to call his manager raj varma from tatadocomo his number is[protected], to redeem money

It is scam and cheated with the public, pl take strict action such kind of people

I too got a call from the number[protected] said i won the lottery of 15 lacs and given the no to send account details the is [protected]. BEWARE OF Its DANGEROUS.

Even i got a call from airtel no. (+121) where i was informed that i have won 24 lacs rupees. They gave me a number and asked me to call Mr. Akash Verma, Sr. Manager of Airtel. The number given by them was [protected].

when i researched on net, i came to know that the number code is of pakistan.

I waited for the person's call so that i could have given a tight one on his bum, but he didn't called.

I got the fake call from Pakistan [protected] on 11/03/2013 .
My concern is :
1) How they get my number as they call me by my name?
2) Does Airtel shares the number or Airtel misuse our data?
3) Do i have to sue the airtel for the same?
4) Are they tracking the cell or misuse our cell by calling?

I will appreciate any one will help me on above queries.

I got a call about an hour ago, I asked him to keep the money and disconnected the call. I did not give away any personnel details, should I lodge a complaint ????

My father-in-law also got a similar call from [protected] as he doesnt understand hindi, he could only relate Lottery ticket and 25lacs. I searched in browse and got this link. really useful.

People of India be aware, we dont get 1Rs without hardwork. How can we get 25Lacs? Be alert and ignore such call

Even I received a call today around 8:00 PM from [protected] number and they asked me to call on this [protected] number. Asking for act detail to transfer the money and have one condition which says your mobile should be switched off till 8:00 AM tomorrow till the money get transfer...Be Alert

Today[protected] I got a call from Pakistan [protected] for wining lottery of Rs 25 Lacks.
He asked me to give my SIM card number for verification.
By God's grace I not gave him any details.

But Government should take some serious action against this.

I got a call from +121 morning 8.00am he said his name vishal verma, he told me I won a lottery of amount Rs. 25 Lakh. he told me call this number and give some information, [protected] This is number when i spoke to that person he told his name raj singhania,
I gave my bank ac no.
Its dangerous ?

I asked him that i i know its a fraud and he tried to convince me nd gave me another numer saying supervisor of Aircel Rajesh sharma [protected] but i was not convinced and questioned him ...nd he cut d phone that ok as u wish ..after 5 mins i again recieved a miss call from him and i called him nd he said call to him you would get 25 lacs lottery in ur account ..nd decuscted my 55 rupeess ...so thought money has been already cut so lets get into it and c what further he wants too c d reality ... i called rajesh nd without me infroming him he himself said u winner of 25 lacs ..then i suspected it ..i called him kyu buddhu bana rhe ho sir ..apki awaz se hi pata lag rha that ap fraud ho koi supervisor nai ..he gets irritated nd started saying rubbish thng tht karlo sir kal subaha 8 baje phne karna aapko 25 lacs milenge apki jindagi sudhar jayegi ...blah blah blah...nd then i decided to check this on internet about this ..nd luckily i found these complaints ...thank god ..Aircel and these comapnies should be aware f this rubbish people call ...PLS Be AWARE ...JAI HIND ...nd Support ARVIND KEJRIWAL ...fro Better India ..to avoid such stuffs ...Jai Hind ...:)

Hai I am babu i also just 15 mins back i also received missed callI from +[protected]. i called the number he was speaking in Hindi, since I don't know Hindi and he was speaking like lottery and all, as I already heared about fake news I told I don't need lottery and cut the call. i got a missed call from [protected] number on 17 April 2013..and when i called back the person on other side said that i have won a 25 lack lottery..on realizing that it is a fake call i disconnected it.. but after looking back the number i realised that its a Pakistani number..
