[Resolved]  Fake Call From Pakistan +92 Airtel — Fake calls for 25 lakhs lottery from airtel (but actually it is from pakistan)

I just now recieved a call from Mr Vijay kumar of mumbai, that i have won a lottery of 25 lac and he told me he was calling from idea call centre, when i asked the name of call center he refused to tell. He said to check a number on the sim and if it's there then i am the winner and i have to call the manager of SBI Mr Rahul verma, i have to provide him the related info and he'll transfer the amount to my a/c. Though i am a search expert i don't go with these calls i usually search online and i saw the same happened to many people.
The numbers provided are - [protected], [protected]
This is a request to the Indian police officials, to keep a check on these calls and inspect the motive behind it.

I too got a call from [protected] and the person introduced himself as Ravi from Airtel Customer care mumbai bandra and says that i won a 25 lakhs cash prize and aksed me not to tell anyone. He asked me to call vijay supervisor from SBI branch to collect full details. When i called him he said tht i should give him my A/C number. Gosh i realized it must be a fake call and i asked them firectly if they are from paksitan. He started shouting and told me if i trust i should give the details. I soon disconnected the call.

I got call from[protected] and he told me that I have won a KBC lottery of 25 lakhs. He asked me to call another number[protected]. On calling this number he asked me to deposit INR 16700/- in ICICI bank a/c. He also asked me to switch off my mobile which I did. But then I came to know that these are Pakistan based numbers and from there on I have not taken any calls from them.
Also called Airtel Customer Care, but they did not provide any solution.

Please help me.

Today, 27 June, I also received a call from those kind of a number and he told me the same story that i have won 25 lac rupees from KBC .When I enquired about the matter he told me that my number is selected from a lucky lottery draw and he gave a number i.e.[protected] which is the number of Vijay kumar who is bank manager of PNB. I ignored it for the first time but again the call came saying the same thing.When i call back at that number a person introduced him as vijay kumar.He took my accont number and said the same thing and also said something about a money drop when my phone disconnected due to low balance.Later by surfing internet i found the truth and thus posting this complaint.

My request to all to ignore this kind of number and mobile operators should block these immediately.

P.S. The same day the same incoming call came from the number again(Number is [protected]) and asked me to call again on that number and cut the phone.

I got a call from ‭+[protected] which I missed so‬ I called back...later realizing that this is a number from pakistan. A guy picked up and started telling me that I have won 20lacs from KBC, immediately got suspicious as the guy on the phone was not professional and used a lot o[censored]rdu words...he gave me another number 0092 [protected] and asked me to talk to Rajesh Balaji and he also gave me a lottery number to claim 20 lacs from. I told him that this is a pakistan number on which he said who told you, I am calling from Delhi.
I did not call on the second number since I found it fishy.
I googled and saw these complaints here... should an official complaint be registered? If yes where and how. Help!

I too got a missed call from +92 no. yesterday and by mistaken my sister called back on the same no.
Is there a serious issue, if so where/ whom to report this to? Also we haven't provided any personal information but just worried about misuse of my no. at their end, is it possible?

Today I also got a call missed call from [protected], When I called back, he told me that he is from Delhi and you have won 25L in KBC through airtel.

He given a number [protected] to contact for claim . Then I realized, its from Pakistan.
I did not call this number but he tried to contact me again, I did not pick up.

today i got a call from [protected] (he claims that he is in delhi n calling from customer service department)he told me that i hve won 25lack in lottery he provided me with lottery no 8919 n told me to call on this no [protected] Mr yadav and also told me that u can watch ur no tonight in doordarshan channel, after calling that no that yadav told me that he is an rbi officer he had my cheque.. he ask me my lottery no which he provided and ask my mobile no he was asking about my bank account no and bank name, ... i didnt provide him any thing.and disconnect the call after disconnecting call my 117.56 rupees was deducted immediately within in 10 min ...after half n hour i got from tht customer service guy he was asking me why i disconnected the call n he was telling me that mister yadav called him, he said me recharge with 200 rupees and call mr yadav(aka ) again and provide me all my details..., but this time i try to ask his details whts his name whether this is a fake call or real...he immediately disconnected the calll... (later i checked both the no they are from pakistan...n their mobile company name is (ufone)...if any one can help me please help me i want those in jail n want my money back!!!

Today, even my mother got the same kind of call. The person said my mother's no is selected in KBC lottery and she won 25 lac. And he gave some no. like [protected] and said this no is of Mr Vijay Kumar of PNB Main branch, Delhi and asked her to call on that no immediately. Thank god she used landline instead of her mobile phone to call on that no and got message of invalid no.

Then she asked me to check for it and I landed up on this page and got this useful inf of fraud calls from Pakistan.

Please be careful. It seems there is large group involved in this fraud.

i am in berhampur (odissa) Today i.e. 2 august 2013, i got a call for [protected] some vijay kumar mumbai and said the sam story of Rs . 25 Lacs lottery for Airtel head office in mumbai No is : [protected], Vijay kumar asking me please gave me the Account no. we deposit the money on in your account which I gave him in the first call itself, but for that i would have to tell him the branch code of " icici " which is issued afted depositing the money.
i request for Airtel officer, i gave him some rupees but that rupees are not returned. so i requested to all avoid this calls.

my self Lalit kumar .today Some fake call are coming on my phone .these fake call are ISD and fake call number is [protected], [protected] and +92 code belongs to Pakistan country .they are saying to me that you have won 25 lakhs prize and saying we are from your service provider(AIRTEL).give you personal information and your account number.


I have already informed to TRAI by mail today about this matter.please check why these fake call is coming on moblie .bcoz i do not want any this type of fake call on my mobile.

IT IS A FAKE CALL...take police help to trace down the number and catch the culprit.

I received call from [protected] & tell me that you won 25 lakhs rupees by a lucky draw of 5000 sim cards and your number won i am Rajkumar & i am manging director of Kaun Banega Crorepati and he told a lottery number to me 434 and then he says i will call u after 5 minutes, so that i match this lottery number is exist or not.After sometime call has come and tell that Your lottery number is exist.and now you become our best customer of KBC. this is only fraud call. dont believe on this call. this is pakistan number.

28/09/2013 today 8 am i got a call on idea mob no [protected] he is from mumbai from this no. he informed me i got rs 25 lacs in my acounts and say you win idea lottery and give me no [protected] vijay kumar bank meneger to contect him please do something sir it is very dangerous they are fraud i hate them.

I got a call from number having +92 as initial code on oct. 7, 2013 who told me that i won a lottery of 25 lacs from airtel company's lucky draw which they held every year
and provided me number [protected] and told me to call vijay kumar who is the manager of that company acc. to him and cutting of that call when i saw the number to check, i found that the number is not added in my call register.
i was shocked. so, friends..
Please alert. This is very dangerous. they just want to trace your number for their unnecessary n dangerous desires.

My self bijo I have got a call from a number [protected] . It was a missed call first then i cld back and got the same message that i got a lottery and they hav given another number to contact.Later i got another call from same number it shows the place pakistan. So i kept the number to block list..
