i am in Hyderabad Today i.e. 2 may 2013, i got a call for [protected] some vijay kumar Delhi and said the sam story of Rs . 25 Lacs lottery for Airtel head office in mumbai No is : [protected], Vijay kumar asking me please gave me the Account no. we deposit the money on in your account which I gave him in the first call itself, but for that i would have to tell him the branch code of " icici " which is issued afted depositing the money.I sensed that something is not right and told him directly that im not interested and that he is a fake, but i have given him my account no. can he do something unexpected. I am worried and want to lodge a complaint.

Hey guys just want to share this everyone there is company out there in Pakistan and their head office in Houston, America and they call you and will promise to give you best rate and service and promise to give you 777 minutes to make a call to Pakistan and guess what it is just a plain scam and they will take your credit card no over the phone and they charge you right away but they wont give you those certain amounts of minutes which they promise. I'm just one of a victim I used their service and they charged me $35 Canadian Dollars and promised me to provide 777 minutes and I got only 535 minutes and I just got off the phone one of their manager in Karachi his name is Ahsan Yousafi and was rude and misbehaved and told me he checked everything and he found out I used all minutes and on the other side he said calling rates for Pakistan has gone up that's why you did not get 777 minutes. I'm going to call my visa credit card company will tell about these scammers and hopefully I get my money back. I advise everyone not to use their service and they rip you off and won't listen to you at all.
They are criminal and they should be brought to justice.

Today i got a call from [protected] saying i won a 25Lakhs. It sounds to me a fake call as he was speaking, .. anyways i said thank you and cut the call. Earlier there were mails & SMS's, now these fraudster have started calling.. which is a step ahead of earlier methods..Something should be done to ban these calls...
Fake Call from Pakistan for Winning a lotter of 25 lakhs on Airtel mobile number:
I got a call from this [protected] same number as above today 14/May/2013 and the caller said that i won 25 lacs from a lucky draw of airtel. I asked him why is he trying to make a fool of me and where is he calling from, for which he said Mumbai. But since the number was international i told him he should stop duping people and that i am going to report to the police. Instead of getting scared, this guy told me "police tere baap ka hai kya" and then started giving hindi expletives. Since their standard mode of operation is that they will give a missed call and then unknowingly the victim gives a call back to him, they must be getting paid by their local telecom service provider. Hence this guy will try to engage you on the phone as long as possible. Please do not fall for this guy..there is no lottery and this guy is a third rate con. This number is from pakistan but sInce they have a data base of mobile nos. from india it looks like part of the international con ring. It is this kind of resource that helped one hacker in US to withdraw 40 million USD from ATM's in 80 countries. Hence they are very smart and out to loot and dupe innocent people. Someone from our authorities should take up the case and book this person / organisation.

The same thing happened with me, as i was got call from [protected]. when i received the call they told that i won 2500000L Rs.from KBC lottery and he told to call some other number([protected]). when i called he told he is bharti mittal congrats so and so story & he told to recharge of 201 Rs, its Abhishek Bacchan is depositing the Money and i lost my balance around 150 Rs as the call cost is 45/ Min, the same issue i discussed to my friend and we checked it through internet as it was call from Pakistan
so dont give any of your information like bank acc no or Email-ID, or any other information they are going to hack your account, its totally Fake call they will make you to believe by telling you have won cash prize

Airtel — fraud call from +92
I recently got a missed call from [protected] . And i called back, and heard some announcement in sone language(may be urdu) and i cut the call. I would appreciate if we look into this matter and confirm whether its a genuine call or fraud call. Stop this incase of fraud. Today morning 8.00 am I received a missed call from [protected]. Without seeing the number i make call back but when i saw the +92 at once i cut the phone but i am afraid it may be terrorist call or some other locha. Please tell me how we can stop like these fraud call.

Yesterday I also got missed call from [protected]. Then I called back & the same story he told me that I won 25 lac.
I have to confirm my number by calling on another number. For every minute I was charged 10 Rupees as It was Call from Pakistan.
Next day they asked me to come to PNB Bank & deposit Rs.10, 300
I just ignore that & today after reading all comments here, I really feel saved.

I am writing this from Bangalore.
Yesterday my mom got a call from a +92... number. The caller introduced himself as Vishal calling from a Mumbai call Center. He asked me to immediately note down another +92...number of a Mr Vijay Kumar who is the Mumbai Branch Manager for SBI.
Vishal claimed that my mom has won 25L on a lottery from KBC Channel 5. I told him that we have not taken any lottery and that i have not heard of channel 5. The call dropped. Then we started getting miscall from the same number. So we called the number given to us for the bank manager Vijay Kumar. He asked us for the lottery number. We informed that we have not taken any lottery. He said that he will look into it and call us back. Today morning Vishal called us back saying that yesterday the call was dropped before he could give us more detail. He told us that TATA DOCOMO was taken over by Abhishek Bachan and he has announced the lottery for some 200+ cell phone users. And my mom's number is selected for an amount of 25L. He urged us to call the Bank Manager and give the lottery number. We called him and he wanted to know how we are collecting the money. He is no more interested in the Lottery number. He said either you can come to Mumbai and collect by 2pm(the call is happening at 9:30am) or to geive him my account number, user name and password. I told him that i cannot come to Mumbai that fast and neither to give him the account number. He disconnected the call.
This definitely is someone trying to fool us. If someone could do anything on this, please be quick. I am not sure by now how many people they have called and fooled. Maybe some even shared their account details as well.

Today I also get the missed call from[protected]. After that when i call them they told me that i have won 25 lakh lottery on Tata Docomo mobile no. Call rates were Rs 25/min. They ask me to call Sanjay Singh at [protected].When i call him he tell me the same and asked me to give a call on his number next morning.But this is a fake call. Don't become a part of this trap..
