i... im in need for your help..

im sending a diamond pendant to my MRS in india for her birthday through fedex as a GIFT...
i live in UK and shes in MUMBAI india Maharashtra
its stuck in fedex custom. the value of the diamond pendant is RS 25000 - RS 30000
NOW fedex is asking to get a broker to clear the custom!! im like i dont have a broker your a broker tell me the custom charge and i'll pay if its reasonable but they not listen to anything!!!

Thank you for using fedex services ,

With reference to airwaybill no :[protected] as per our telecommunication the only option left to get the consignment from customs authoriity is either appoint broker to clear the consignment or else after the timelines the shipment would get abondoned and in case of returning shipment you still need to appoint your own broker and get the approval of customs authority to get the shipment back please note .
