[Resolved]  Fortpoint — zen estilo lxi

TO CRM MARUTI SUZUKI CO.
No PDI sticker was there attached to the car at the time delivery bought on 3rd march 09.they told us stickers are out of stock but the car has been inspected...AT the time of the delivery there was a wide gap between the body nd the bumper at the rear right side..but the reply was it is original fitting frm the company..the next we went back for the complaint of abnormal sound from the left front wheel again we were told that the car has tubeless tyres so this is a usual with every vehicle having tubeless tyres.
ON INSPECTION:-
later on it was noted that the nutbolt of the same rear bumper was missing.
and also the pipe of the water container of the wiper was leaking.

THE abnormal sound from the front left wheel was of the faulty shock absorber(strut).
Within 2 weeks time from the delivery we have sent the car thrice to the workshop of the company for the rectification of the complaints...but still after all the repairs by the dealer but still there is abnormal sound from the left front wheel...
SO KINDLY look into the matter and give us a feedback at the earliest.we have been maruti suzuki vehicle user since last 2oyears.
Awaiting for ur reply at the earliest...

That is the general attitude of Fortpoint, you realised and escaped them so early. We got our 3 free services done from them for a brand new Maruti car we purchased from them.

All three times, work done by Fortpoint was incomplete.
All 3 times Fortpoint delivered vehicle much after the promised time.

In first service vehicle had traveled much more than the return distance from our residence to the workshop, and some basic work was not done. The service guy only called me to scare me into buying a Rs. 4000 accessory saying that if i didnt fit that accessory, my engine could fail and it would cost me additional rs. 10000 to fix it.

Second service, not even washing was done. When i asked them, they told me 'gaadi bhej do, karke de denge, usme kya hai'.

Before giving the vehicle for third service to Fortpoint, i was assured by service/work managers of 2 different fortpoint service centers that work would be done properly.

When I escalated matter to Fortpoint MD that 3 times I got bad service, he is explaining to me 'aisa kabhi kabhi hota hai, shayad aapka naseeb kharab hai'. What a moronic statement. What he did not understand that consistently bad service means his management is bad.

Not to mention that suddenly the vehicle shock absorbers of brand new vehicle running just 10k kms in Mumbai highway only are so bad that smallest road joint jerks cane be felt inside.

Sadly, even Maruti does not take any action against such dealers/service guys as their business is very dependent on such dealers only. I had to run a lot after the Maruti guys to register a complaint, and final result was some guy calling me and telling me to again send the vehicle to Fortpoint and he will get work done properly. When I asked him whether he is in his senses as he was asking me to trust Fortpoint again, he made alternate provisions with Sai service, which was a little better than Fortpoint.


If you have to buy vehicle from Maruti please understand that they wont help and you will always be at mercy of dealers.
