[Resolved]  Godrej Microwave Oven — calous attitude towards customer

Dear Sir/Madam

I was given an compalint nu 235106 by your call centre for attending to my defective Micowave Oven. The calous attitude began from there itself. The person attending to the call was not to note down our new residentail address and special request was made to the person to check with us before reaching our residence as all of are working people. Anyhow after repeated reminder one engineer came and checked and promised to replace certain parts, unfortunately the parts were not available he did not even bother to inform us about its non availability, probably it is the duty of the customer to check with Gordrej agencies ! such is yoru wonderful service. I had specifically requested to engineer (that is what he calls himself probably is a mechanic/technician attending to problem to call me before coming to attend to my complaint. He landed on this Saturday that is 3rd October around 3pm when ony my 85 year mother in law who cannot understand hindi was at home my neighbour was called in the technician informed him that he would come again at 5 PM however onceagain there was no message from the person as to whether he would be attending to my compalint that day or not. Today having waited till 2.15 PM for him to come i called up your Laxmi Nage office at telephone No. 42418891 where is again i got a very vague reply from one of the lady attending to the call Quote" Madam aaj engineer 3 baja ke bad agaya. " what does that mean that we need to keep waiting for the so called engineer till he turns up . Why dont people understand the value of time. I am working women I need to go back to attend to my work i have waited since morning for him to turn him. The person incharge of the service Section is equally vague with no reply to my question as to how long do i need to wait from 3 pm . He says quote "aaj da din wait karlejia. WILL somebody from godrej service centre wake up and let me know is this how the customers are dealt with is only selling a product is the only motive what about after sales service, GOD SAVE ALSO THOSE LIKE ME WHO CHOOSE TO BUY INDIAN PRODUCTS. THIS IS THE LAST TIME I WOULD BUY A GODREJ ITEM AND WOULD ALSO INFORM MY FRIENDS ABOUT THE UNPLEASANT EXPERIENCE WITH YOUR PRODUCT AND DISCOURAGE THEM FROM BUYING ANY OF YOUR PRODUCT . THEY EVEN LACK BASIC COURTESY OF CHECKING WITH THE CUSTOMER THEIR CONVEIENCE TO ATTEND TO THE COMPLAINT. JAI HO MERE DESH MAHAN.
