I had bought a house in Godrej eden woods project at Than in Bombay in the year 2006.
Ever since then the project has been delayed close to year and Godrej has been not responding to my telephonic queries on settlement for losses.
The project according to the agreement was to be delivered in Oct 2007, hence I had taken a floating loan and now the interest too has gone high from 7.5% TO 12.5 % and i am loser on both counts.
I would expect the management to pay for the losses of approximately Rs25, 000 per month of preemi and the increase in percentage of loan due to their delay.
Even now they have not fixed a deadline.
Their top management is not bothered and the lower staff are incompetent.
Their current building Birch in the same locality is full of leakage and faulty construction problems.

Godrej Tower — Leakage in above flat

Hi,

I am staying at Godrej Tower in Vikhroli at Mumbai. There is a leakage in my flat due to work carried out in toilet by above flat owner. He has carried out this rennovation after getting permission from Godrej Builder. Due to this inferior work, in my flat there is significantuilder (Godrej) has sent letter to above flat owner & has held him resposible for leakage & carry out repair work. Above flat owner is refusing to repair work & asking me to pay for repair work.

This has damaged my hall & master bedroom wall paint. It has also damaged entire kitchen ceiling. Society has been formed. Society is not helping much. I have two question

1. Who is responsible to carry out leakage repair work in above flat? Builder? above flat owner? Society? Which Law would be considered to settle this issue?
2. Can I get my damages of wall paint, ceiling from above flat owner/builder/society?

Flat owner would be liable for damages
You can claim damages through civil suit.
First send legal notice to flat owner and demand damages caused by their negligence act and compensation for harrassment Humiliation time loss.if they don't settle issue after legal notice than file case in civil court
One year post the above comment I am still awaiting for posession of the above said flat which is nearing completion 2 years later than the date stated in the agreement and full of leakage. God help the people who will subscribe to godrej properties IPO. I think all investors need to meet people who have booked flats in Godrej and look at the number of court cases against them filed by the Godrej federation for illeglaly ursurping land at Godrej properties Thane and constructing on garden plots.
i am asking tht is it true tht being such a large company u do such things. is the above matter is true.
if true why is so happening bcos it reflects the whole companys attitude bcos of 1 small mistake.
Godrej Garden Enclave, Vikhroli W, is full of leakages and the site ofice staff promise to help but do not do anything, and after some time say "Get the work done by society". Godrej Properties is not be be trusted at all. They build recklessly and later disappear
I have booked flat no. 1/B, Regency park, Tower 'B', Edenwoods in the month of Oct 2011 and paid the entire amount by Dec'2011.

I was promised that whatever jobs were pending will be competed before the flat is handed over to me. There was no progress and since I am a employed person and was staying in a company flat it was not possible for me to stay back in the co. flat as I had taken loan from bank and the total outgo on account of HRA & bank loan was too much.

On 15/01/2012 I shifted to edenwoods and was assured that the icomplete jobs will be complted.
The major complaints are still pending which are enumarated as unde.

The main complaints of ceiling leaking from both the bathrooms and the master bedroom is still be pending.
Water seepage from the wash basin in the hall are.
Improper slop on sink in kitchen.
Leakage of water from the commode of common bathroom.

I had been following up with shri Prakash Vaikar who was officer while finalising the sale regularly. Many time your local people attended the compaints without any result.

You are therefore requested to arrange for rectification of all my complaints on urgent basis.

Does any one have Godrej Properties MD email address?
I have booked flat in Godrej Garden city. I hardly get any response to any of my complaints. Have been chasing for long time but my emails are completely ignored.


I want to escalate the matter to their MD. If any one has Godrej properties MD's email address and also relevant emails addresses I have complaint about Godrej, please let me know.

Hello,
I have booked flat in Godrej Garden City EDEN S, already paid stamp duty and other payment but after 15 days they are not able to send the receipt and also appointment of sale deed, no one is answering properly. So many times I mailed to Abhisek Chaturvedi but no response from him, I think he is name only as escalation manager nothing else. Godrej is one of the most dumb and third class company in services. Never business with Godrej people, all are lier at customer care center.
