Luxmi Interiors — Unprofessional and Rude

I gave the wardrobe order to this Luxmi Interiors on Outer Ring Road Bangalore. They have completely let me down. They are unprofessional and rude and don't take my work seriosuly. Due to their mismanagement, I had to shell out an extra 10% and the project is not complete even after a delay of more than a month.

I strongly advise against using their services. Because of them, I am not able shift to my new house!

The complain is against Klassic Interior, a godrej outlet at adugodi, bangalore. We were very impressed by the modular kitchen on display there. We have also used godrej for all our home furnitures and we are quite satisfied with that.
However, the modular kitchen is turning out to be a nightmare. The particular dealer in question 'Klassic Interior' seems extremely disinterested in selling the product. We have to literally 'hound' them to carry out the sale order. Once the order is placed, they do not follow up ever.
I am still to get my kitchen. I hope the quality of kitchen will make up for the pain of dealing with Klassic Interiors.

I think you should cancel the order (if already placed). I have placed an order & there is huge difference betwwen the measurement & the actual model selections. The design & model selection has changed already several times. What is "Follow up", you come to know after giving orders to Klassic. Extreme poor response, zero (rather negative) commitments added more towards their incapability.

Suggest not to go with them

Never get anything done from Klassic Interior .Highly incompetent and utterly senseless people. Their sales people have no idea how to take measurements are very rude towards people. They are really good at making excuses though. Our kitchen was supposed to have been done in 2 days time and its been more than 10 days since they have started.There are other companies that make modular kitchens, they might be a bit more expensive but I am sure they provide better service.

why don't you complain direct to the company... godrej offers good customer support. i also a dealr and i agree it takes 6 weeks to get kitchen material from the company...

Why not check out the kitchens with Veneta Cucine, Indiranagar. They are a little more expensive, but exteremely thorough with their approach. I am finalising my kitchen through Veneta Cucine, Calcutta, and am really satisfied with the model and the efforts of the boutique people.

I have ordered Godrej modular kitchen from M/s Splendid Kitchen, Kondapur, Hyderabad in the month of Feb '09 and they have installed it in the first week of Oct '09, which is still incomplete as the white ash door panels are not available with the above said dealer, likewise other things like skirting, alignment of drawers knobs are still to be fitted.

I and my family had to suffer the sight of incomplete kitchen on the day of our house warming ceremony in front of our relatives and friends( See the extent of damage to your company's image)

While several reminders gone unheeded by the dealer, Today when we discussed the same, he is talking rudely.

I am really surprised at this, I have following points to bring to your kind notice,

1) Is anyone from the company monitoring your orders, wether they are executed as per the plan or any manupulation is done by the dealer. Because no one from the compamy has visited us and sorted out our problem.

2) Your sink unit of 600mm is not as per the picture shown in your catalogue. It is very ridiculous to open two door panels of sink unit to throw thrash in the dust bin which is inside.

3) How come a designated consignment ment for one particular customer is not delivered promptly, and when complaint is lodged why it is taking hell lot of time.

4) No co-ordination or synchrinisation of activites are initiated by the dealer of yours, thereby we had to suffer huge loss in terms of poor execution of work such as granite laying which was done haphazard manner and it also broke near the stove area.

5) Finally with so much of delay and confusion on the companys part, the the women folk of the house have to suffer the terrible mess of your modular kitchen while doing their daily household chores. which I feel is unpardonable thing.

For those of you who may think that buying a Veneta Cucine is a better option, I want to warn you that Veneta Cucine is a big fraud company. They work in connivance with the Interior Designers and charge you a bomb, but eventually what they deliver to you is inferior to even what you can buy off the shelf in open market. Don't make the mistake of going to Veneta Cucine because if you place order with them once, you will be stuck for life and it is like managing a white elephant because you can't go to anyone else later. Their people talk sweet but are crooks of first order and lie through their teeth. They will smile and rob you of all your hard earned money, and you don't even get a high quality or high convenience kitchen. I have dealt with both their Delhi office and Banaglore office and both turned out to be blatant cheaters. You may want to discount my feedback as one off 'mad' customer, but the reason I am sharing this feedback in open forum is not because I am mad with Veneta Cucine, but because I wouldn't want any honest people to lose their hard earned money in buying that brand because it turns out that the brand is quite a farce and much cheaper quality than what you can buy for a very reasonable price in other places.

I had purchased modular Kitchen from Godrej for my new flat. Initially lot of chasing in supplying the items had to be done even after making 90 percent payment. Once items were supplied this did not match with booked items. One of the item was defective from day one whcih they promised to replace. Inspite of repeated chaisng and follow up the modual kitchen has neither been installed even after 6 months nor any replacement of defective peice has been made.

I had one of the worst experience from Godrej and have now bowed not to purchase any item of Godrej and will advise others also the same.

Thank god !!! I am just thinking of changing my existing kitchen. After reading about Godrej and Veneta cucine, I am just going to be comfortable with old styled one.

same is my case. I am from Hyderabad having ordered and paid for my modular Kitchen in full to be done by a Godrej agent called Kusumahara Enterprises, and my kitchen is yet to be completed. the cheque was paid on Jan 15ht 2011 and it is 73 days now.this man promised the work to be completed by 45 days.

I have ordered for Godrej Modular Kitchen on Jan15th 2011 with Kusumhara Enterprises, hyderabad. I was promised that the kitchen would be installed by 45 days. I have paid in full and the kitchen is still unfinished. it is 73 days now. And the agent talks rudely when questioned.

I have done Godrej Modular kitchen with klassic interiors 2 years back they have done good job as they committed they have supplied with in 6 weeks they have completed with in two days time. Infact i suggested 3 friends even they didn't complained anything about delivery and installation.

We have purchased "Modular Kitchen Set" from Godrej Kolkata( "RAJNI GODREJ" ) ( address is mentioned below, email id = rajni.[protected]@gmail.com). Cost was around 1.5 Lakhs via EMI.

They came to install the same on Feb, 2014 but when we checked, found that there are so many defective items, we have reported the damaged items to their representatives both verbally and in written ( in the JOB CARD, Chalan Book and to thier official email id mentioned above ) and below the mail to them but they have NOT taken any actions so far, I think Sir, it is only you who can help us on this...

Note: I am attaching some of the photos, I was able to take. There are more items that are defective.( either cracked/broken/scratched etc )

Yes, one more thing is that items were supplied by GODREJ ( Color Combination : Chestnut and Moldula C)
did not match with booked items( Chestnut and ASH white ).
