[Resolved]  Goibibo — EXCESS COLLECTION OF MONEY ON PURCHASE AND NO ACTION FOR REFUND

Here below is my complaint e-mail to GOIBIBO a so called best travel ticket booking company, .

I am writing and calling them regularly but nothing is moving. Please see if you can help me and also warn other people to keep distance from such novic / IRRESPONSIBLE organizations.

Dear Madam ,

Its really so disheartening to see the irresponsible work at your end at such an initial stage

I had been given your reference by some of my close friend and I shifted using your site for airticket booking of my family and friends instead of Yatra etc.

I have very very unprofessional and irresponsible workmanship being exposed at your end in just a few bookings: ie.

A family of my 5 friends was going to Jammu and I booked the same with you: on 8th Feb.

It was given transaction interruption in your collection site two times ( although there was no network or connection problem at my computer links). I got the message that the transaction incomplete and for about 20 minutes there was no display of ticket booking also and hence I re booked the same.

To my surprise in the evening I found that there was extra two times debit in my account , means your system's incomplete collection information was wrong and you had collected money even in the first instance itself and generated misleading information that the transaction was incomplete.

When I contacted your office they acknowledged the mistake and told me that the extra duplicate collection of money would be refunded IN FULL to my card very soon. And there came the display of abort information on these booking in my log in site of yours as well.

I continuously contacted your staff to know the development in refund case, they take ages to collect the final information from some different person/department ( our phonebill going in 100 at times- one instance your lady staff took almost 20 minutes to reply with details)

Today I have received a mail of one duplicate refund case (SGV9PTBL) which is 2000 Rs short ?????????? What is all this... are you serious in business or we need to stop dealing with such site with brand publicity that your dealings smell unhealthy financial dealings ???,

Please reply.

In another case you have charged two times for one booking ( (N9RVCD)- please explain as why you are doing so and if we need to question you strongly for such unlawful financial activities...

I still hope that all these things are happening due some miscommunication or by some unprofessional staff of yours .... please rectify the same and give respect to your customer with fair dealing in financial matters.

THE REFUND HAS FINALLY BEEN GIVEN AFTER THREE MONTHS WHEN I THREATENED THEM TO LODGE A LEGAL CASE AGAINST.
A LOST A GOOD TIME, PATIENCE AND MONEY TO TACKLE THE CASE.
ADVISE NOT TO USE THEIR SERVICES AS FAR AS POSSIBLE.- NS MAHRA
