I purchased HCL leaptop one month back but my DVD drive is not reading any cd so i went to HCL infosystem(Service center in bangalore) they said we will replace your DVD drive within 5 days but now almost more then 10 days over still they have not taken any action not replace my DVD drive also.could you please let me know when this can be done.

After one year ago i purchase a new hcl laptop.now i have a problem in my DVD COMBO drive.
The DVD COMBO drive create problem to read rewriteable cds.

HCL — DVD WRITER

IN MY PC, DVD WRITER IS UNABLE TO READ AND WRITE THE DVD.

I have bought a HCL Laptop on 26th December, 2008. Since that I am facing problem in my Lap. Firstly DVD wrtier was not working. Secondly, F10 Key is not attach properly. When ever I send my Laptop for repairing at Rohtak. They get repair but take a lots of time, approx. 10 to 15 days. They got repaired and again the display of my laptop is not working now. I complaint on 18th August, they check and told us whenever they will get hardware from HCL they will call us. But till today, i.e. 22nd August, We did not receive any call from them.

I want to ask HCL that I bought my laptop to work on this if it will not working properly and I will send it service station on mohtly basis, How can I do my work??

Please tell me anybody what should I do?

my laptop model hcl notebook P28 PDC is giving me a lot of problems its dvd is completely not working and plus my laptop gets hanged very frequently and sometimes wen i turn on the laptop it doesnt start n wen i try to shut it it doesnt get shut n i have 2 take out the battery its just 5-6 months n so much problems please help me...

Since i bought my hcl leaptop, atmost 3 week the cd/dvd disk works, later the CD/DVD DRIVE is not working properly. i was thinking its just for my laptop its fault, but after visiting this page, o god, almost all laptop DVD is not working. EVEN CANT ABLE TO WRITE ANY CD.DVD.

i have summit the dvd rider kit & battery summited at your service yammini service centre at aligarh.
but all the staff is duffer to do the comple the my compliants.your hcl company is low quality and all the service centre is just like for cservice centre manager's funny jobs and time pass with his lady employee with talking low mentality words
