[Resolved]  HDFC Bank account Opening — delay in activation

Are you fed up with fast life ? So visit HDFC bank. You feel relaxed as they take minimum 12 days for account opening. Not only that, if you deposit cheque for collection they take minimum 5 days for collection, even it is a local cheque. If it is high value cheuqe then it takes 3 days minimum to collect.
When there was no technology around PSU banks used to open account in one hour flat and collection of cheques was never beyond 3 days.

When size grows so grows the fat and ultimately to be hospitalised. I heard their top team wants bonuses for this relaxed functioning. Great 3 cheers.

HDFC Bank — Regarding Open Current Account

Dear Sir,


This is for your kind information,I have applied for Current A/c oppening, in
name of WINEDGE INSTITUTE OF MGT.&TECH.1st Floor;Kesav Complex,Opp.SaharaShoping Centre,Faizabad Road,Lucknow, at your HDFCBank;LekhrajMarketBranch, IndiraNagar,Lucknow.On dated 8th April2011.For that, I have given Rs 42000/amts hdfc cheque(Chq No.0187100)to Your Branch Executive Mr.Ankur Singh(Mobile No [protected]).That particular chq has been cleared from my a/c on dated 27th of April2011.

Sir but problem is that,till date, I have not receive my current A/c No and no onehas clear me what is the problem behind that.

So Sir Its my kind request to you,pals instruct the concern department and shortout my problem as earlist.

they are big cheaters i am also facing same problem
I have a opend current account in anand vihar branch by the name of vivek foundation before 18 days, we have allready current account in state bank of india from last three year. a lady whos name is bhavika she taken a all document from side, she is allready disscusses with senior (chetan) and show him to my paper, they said ok after 4 working days u ll gate your account number, after 4 days when i call to hdfc people no body pick my call, then i my boss personaly visited in branch, they says that your application is underprocess due to some document problem. they ll charge some rupees from my boss to opening a current account, after some time 4 time hdfc executive visited in my offece, for verification, bt to till date i unable to get my current account number. we have allready 4 to 5 account in your hdfc branch from last 5 years as an privence member, we have allready disscussed with branch manager, bt she are also not responsible, a have disscussed with siddharth despandey who is personal banker, bt they said your lead is not my hand but i try to give you account number as soon as possible.

Hi HDFC Team

Am presently working in IBM INDIA . My march slary got activated and stil am not able to withdraw the money from ATM and i am finding very difficult and irritated with this bank i hope u can understand my frustration and kindly activate my account on the spot or ASAP if not i would like to send a mail to consumer court regarding this . One of the customer care member spoke to me regarding this and took a complaint and also gave me the num Banc[protected] and said it wil take 7 working days to activate the a/c what kind of response is this am really fed up and pls do activate the a/c ASAP its n emergency . This mail is to the manager of HDFC VIVEK pls do the needfull at the earliest . MY ACC NUM [protected] .

Resp sir,
we r trying for an account from october 2012.but due to negligence and not proper follow up by the sales and bank peopel specialy mr prateek shukla whose ego is on the sky. and not coperating to new customer also religious minded also mr ketan sane who is been transfer to daryapur. eating to the bank like bedbugs. mr sachin chobey himself has so much work load of relatives and house work that he is not done any mail beore the complain to cluster head.
our objective of strive bahudhashey muslim sanstha account should be open as required document all we had provided of trust.
in amravati branch maharashtra. please open our account.[protected].

I have opened an account with hdfc bank on 18th june.. They have provided a kit on the spot and said that it wll br activated in 2 hrs but the account is not activated yet... May I know how many days it wll take to activate my account...

Sir, this is Mansi Rani Sarkar, I opened the Salary account in HDFC bank at Jhotwara branch on 8 july. I received the welcome kit, but till today it is not activated, i did not recieve any type of activation message from HDFC bank. I waited 2 days for it's activation, Now i bother about it, that is why i have sent you the message. please activation my account as soon as possible, it is my kindly request for you to activation of my account.
just send what the actual problem is there to delay for activation of my account.
