I am filing this complaint regarding a missing refund of ₹1, 70, 495.
I had placed an order on Amazon.in, which got cancelled immediately (Order ID:[protected]. Amazon shows the order as “Cancelled” and states that the refund should be processed in 3–5 business days.
However, the amount of ₹1, 70, 495 was deducted from my HDFC Bank account on 22 September 2025 via POS transaction (Ref No:[protected] / 416021XXXXXX0951 AMAZON PAY INDIA).
I contacted HDFC customer care and received the following official dispute case numbers:
Case Ref: 82304794
HDFC sent me messages saying that the dispute has been registered and the expected closure date is[protected], but the refund has still not been credited to my account.
I have provided all necessary transaction details multiple times. It has been long enough, and the refund should have been processed by now. This is causing financial stress because the deducted amount is large.
I request urgent action to ensure the refund of ₹1, 70, 495 is credited to my HDFC Bank account without further delay. Was this information helpful? |
