[Resolved] HDFC Bank Bank / International Gold Credit Card — Not honouring payment through this credit card
I am holder of HDFC Bank / International Gold Credit Card no. [protected] valid upto November 2010. Today I tried to make an online payment of about Rs.4,000/- but Pay Pal did not validate the credit card. I have not been receiving credit-card bills regularly either by post or by e-mail. On the evening of[protected] I received a phone-call from one Mr.Pankil Gupta mobile no.[protected] informing me that I have to make a payment of Rs.14834/- against my credit-card. On the very next day i.e. on[protected] I deposited multicity cheque no.076858 drawn on PNB Sector-18 branch, Noida, at HDFC Bank, Civil Lines, Kanpur (where I am presently posted in my govt.job). Later I received statement dated 02.02.2010 on 10.02.2010. I did not receive any statement during last 6 months barring statement dated 02.02.2010. Although I made payment immediately on receipt of telephonic information yet my card appears to have been deactivated which is not just. My card is valid for the last three years and I have never been a defaulter. It is requested that: 1- My card be activated immediately as full payment was made immediately on receipt of information of dues. 2- Monthly statement be sent to me through my e-mail so that there is no chance of it's being lost in transit. Thanks. - Ved Prakash Was this information helpful?
