I am also the victim of the HDFC bank, One of the collection agent came to house and collected the amount saying this is last and final payment and informed me that the HDFC bank will be sending the closure letter through email or by post. But once i call the coustmer care they are informing that the issue is not closed and they have filed a complaint against me. If the bank are recurting any agents then why are they telling all false stories and collecting money. This is the serious issue and now a days they are calling and harrsing me and my family for the payment. My card limit as less a 15K and they are filling a suit for 50K. If this is law then where we can go for the justice.

Credit Card — Extremely Humiliating Experience
I am using Barclays Credit Card since Dec' 07. The overall experience with Barclays have been pothetic. I guess calling them the worst cutomer care service provider wont be wrong. In Feb, I got a call for payment and I asked the person to send someone to collect the cheque. I asked if there would be any late payment charges. I was told that there wont be any late payment charges as the due date has not yet come. The next day, this guy came and took the cheque. Next time I got the invoice, there were late charges applied in that. Same thing happened in March. This time, as discussed the person dint turn up for good 8days and I got a call from Barclays for payment. I told that a person was supposed to come but he dint turn up. The person appoloized and asked if he could send the person the following day. I asked about the late payment charges. He told me that there wont be anything like that as this late payment is not your fault. The next day this guy came and took the cheque. But in the next invoice I again got to know that late charges have been applied. I spoke to many people but no one was concerned about the problem. Now my invoice ammount was around Rs 30000. I asked for a detail statement. But I never got any. After sometime I paid Rs 20000 by cheque just because a Barclay person said that if you do so, your problem will be solved immediately. Since then I have spoken to some 30 different people but nothing has been done since then. The remaing 10k has become 13k during this time comprising of late payment charges and intrest. I am tired of begging to send me a detail statement, but all these guys are concerned is just for their payment. These people just take my mail id but just never send any statement.Now its like a humiliation because daily I get some 4-5calls for payment and when I say I dont want to make the payment, then these people insist me to tell them the problem so that they can sort it out. Now its been such a bad experience that I dont even tell them anything as because I have done so earlier countless times. I want to clear the payment but only after recieveing a detail statement and also I just dont understand why I need to pay the extra ammount as whatever is happening is not my fault. I just dont want to continue with Barclays. This was the worst experience of my life. I request the concerned persons to do the needful and have a full and final settlement with me as I am extremely tired of all this and all this is very disgusting at Barclays end, keeping in mind the position they proclaim to have across the Globe.
