[Resolved]  HDFC Bank — Convert Salary account to Saving without intimation and cut the penalty charges

I have opened a salary account in HDFC bank on Feb, 2011. Account No :[protected]

But salary was never credited in that, however i was using my account regulary.


But suddenly on March, 2013 after two years they deducted around 3000/ rupee from my acount for not maintaining the saving account minimum balance.

First of all they should tell me that they are changing my account. They are having my email id thay could have send a mail.

And they deducted 7 months charges together. At least they should cut charges on monthly basis so that I could have know it earlier.

I refistred a complaint but they cloesed my request saying thta we can not reverse the charges.

I sent mail again to them but no response and also i tried to call on number mentioned in the mail they sent me to tell that they can not reverse my money.

But No one is there to pick up my call.

For a credit card they can call 4 times in a day but thay should also inform users for such things.


I am not looking forward to do banking with them any further and alos suggest this to my friends.
