[Resolved] HDFC Bank — Fleecing customer in name of Bank Locker Charges | |||
I have lost the keys of my locker which I hold with HDFC Bank, Vikas Puri. The charges are 3500/- odd incase the locker is to be broken. BTW, these charges are no where mentioned on the website of the bank nor did anyone care to inform me when I opened a locker in their branch. Anyways, these are charges which I am ready to pay. However, what is shocking is that I have to pay another 1500/- odd extra incase I want the locker to be broken on a Saturday. I am told since I am asking the vendor to come specially on a Saturday I have to pay extra. I work from Mon-Fri. This in the days when HDFC prides itself for customer service. Shocking. The bank is more concerned about the vendor rather than the customer. The vendor may be living anywhere in Delhi but charging 1500/- extra is pure loot. Was this information helpful? | |||
