me maria george want to make a complaint against Hdfc Bank ltd.the Employees in this bank are harrased and the life becomes hell after joining this bank.
employees are not allowed to take leave even if they have sufficient balance also they have been told by the Branch Managers" leave is not your right" i think HDFC bank Hr has forgotton that there exist Labour office.
Employees has to work till late hours from 9 to 10-11-12 which is against the employement rule and they even don't get any overtime allowance for that.
i would like to get this into notice of the MD of the bank Mr.Aaditya Puri.
HDFC bank has forgotton that it has established the topmost position only because of their employees and they r least bothered...
HDFC bank has started the new policy now a days they ask their employees to close the "batch" exactly on 7.00 but they ask employees to work late after that.the idea behind closing batch is employees should leave branch by 7.00 but there is not a single day when employees can go home on 7.00.
specially in Silvassa branch this harrasment has reached at the highest point employees are fed up and searching for the new job or just quitting.
honarable Mr.Aditya Puri please take a look at this situation otherwise it will be very dangerous for the coming future.

MY Harassment by Himanshu Srivastav

I am the Sales Executive of HDFC BANK, Sec-62, Noida branch(UP) & My employee code is CA24457. I have done with HDFC BANK from 5Feb.2010 to 14 May2010, now i want to give the resign from the post but my SM Mr. Himanshu Srivastav is not accepting my Resign & He is saying that he will demand from organisation to terminate me. It is not fair as per policy. He has also given my salary after 3 months due to this I want to give the resign.

He has also kept my Mobile when I went to give the resign and also use the abuses language against me and not accept the resign.
After I have called the police then he gave me my mobile. Till After 3 months I
have no I card, offer letter, salary (now I have got my salary at 10 May 2010 of
3months) due to this i am giving resign but he is not accepting and he make sure
and want to terminate me and also want to tarnish my image and carreeer.
He also pressurises all CSEs to do the work till late night and do work on Sunday otherwise he cuts our salary.
Even HDFC Bank (Bhayander Branch) is on the same track...employees being asked to work more than 12 hours...Manager himself is useless creature on earth...


We all should come together and lodge a complain against them with Labour law of India...and mark a CC to the High Court along with a CC to the President of India

HDFC Bank — Harressment from Marketing

Sir,
I have been getting daily calls from HDFC bank executives to apply for Credit card. I agreed couple of times and applied but never got any reply from them. However, the calls did not stop.

I decently requested them not to call my number and delete which never happened. I raised complaint at HDFC at <grievance.[protected]@hdfcbank.com> and have been following up. Every time they assure that my number will be deleted across all the branches in India and I will never get a call. However, still today I am getting calls. I have written number of mails to HDFC but still they do not seem to take any action.

Sir, request you to kindly help me to stop this harressment from HDFC.

HDFC Bank — LOUSY BANKING – HDFC BANK

Recently HDFC bank revised their Average Quarterly Balance to Rs. 10000/- which I came to know only when they deducted the money towards not maintaining the stated Average Quarterly Balance. When I called customer care they said, it has been conveyed to customer through emails and postal bank statements.

First of all, when you try to open HDFC bank statement it always opens with “junk characters” like this “W —b UN √WO «d OK « WIOI ËWO UL «Â√ WO UO Â√W dJ”. This has been so from the beginning since I opened my account with lousy HDFC Bank nearly 6 years ago. As I mainly depend on ATM statements, I didn’t bother till date about unreadable email bank statements. The bank expects me decipher what these “junk characters” are saying about revised Average Quarterly Balance.

Secondly, as I had changed my residence, I had sent them a letter duly signed by me, to update my address nearly 8 months ago. In spite of this, the lousy bank dint update my address, thereby I never notified of change in Average Quarterly Balance.


Note – ICICI bank has a simple procedure, wherein customer themselves can update the address logging into their Internet Banking site, as they shift their residence. This system has many checks and balances to avoid any misuse of the facility. The low IQ HDFC management can hardly conceptualize such innovative steps. Why cannot HDFC bank disband Net Banking when they cannot incorporate customer friendly steps in net banking, when they still want each customer to walk into their branch in an old fashioned way for all such requests.

I stated all the above to their customer care agent, when I got the reply, not to disturb them with Average Quarterly Balance related issues, instead visit the branch for any solution related to AQB.

Note - ICICI bank also had revised their AQB, and I had similar issue with them, but on contacting ICICI customer care, they agreed to reverse the amount (pleasantly so!) this facility is extended to all ICICI bank customers one time during the lifetime of the account. Naturally, after first instance it is the prerogative of the customer to maintain the stated AQB. Why does HDFC bank have customer care agents, when they cannot solve any genuine issues customer raises. Just a hogwash to show they are at par with other banks!
i was an employee in hdfc. i used to leave 10 or 11 pm daily, still people are sitting there to please their bosses and poor mr aditya puri cannot do anything about it.we will not get answer for this, because we are in india. senior most people in hdfc do not have time for poor employees. they are worried only about business .God save people who work in hdfc bank.

1. Dear Frndz, there is TRAP waiting for all o[censored]( domestic and international)... its called the UNHOLY HDFC SLIC-Insurance. All the NRIs are targeted. Though this is done by all Pvt Banks here. But HDFC Bank is the master of cheating clients. For ur information, Bank gets 30-40% profit by selling Insurance to the clients and the parasites called Cluster Heads, Regional heads and all the Di.k Heads are going abroad and enjoying Booz Parties with lady collegues who r getting promoted. Not a single penny is given to the poor Personal Bankers, Relationship Managers or PB/TA Authorisers.

U invest in Insurance but not from HDFC bank branches otherwise b ready for ' SAR MUDA KE JIO'.

2. HDFC Bank have started Band1 and Band2 exercise, which means eradicating less profitable accounts from the Branch and whipped the Branch Staffs not to give any service to those customers. I have got the Bank Guideline in my hand and can be handy when I drag Mr. Puri's pathetic top mgemt team' to RBI and Consumer Forum as this is a Slap to RBI Legislation.

3. HDFC Bank's so called pass book is mockery of regualtors guidelines. Mr. Aditya Puri is making fool of RBI and individuals by providing this pass book. Even some people have thrown these pass book on the face of staff and said" why you are making fool o[censored]s ".

4. The Natsy Top Mgmt of HDFC Bank have created a pack of ever hungry unholy beasts called CH, RH, ZH, ZSM, RSM whose main task is to live like a Parasite and suck the bloods of thousands of employees and implement the rule of the jungle.

5. HDFC Gold Bar--Mr. Puri,
Why your gold prices are 2000+rs per 10gm higher as compared to market price. Not only with local jewellers but even when compared with branded jewellers(24 carat 99.99 % pure)these are very costly. Can you re-purchase the Bars from the customers? Why? Have you ever tried to find out how much Gold you have sold to HDFC Employees? Less than 1% of total sale. Coz employees very well know that only the scape goat called 'customers' will be cheated.
Dear Frnds, do u want to purchase Gold Bar from HDFC Bank nd enjoy Dhanteras or Diwali after knowing all this?

6. FALSIFIED INTEREST RATE:

In case of any loan, the Interest rate should be charged on the net disbursed amount( Net dibursed Amt= Sanctioned Amount- Processing Fee-Other Charges). But HDFC Bank charges the Interest on the sanctioned amount. Mr. Puri, can anyone tell me from ur Team, why customers pay interest for the amount which is already taken by you at the first place? Proc fee u have never disbursed to the customers but u r shamelessly taking interest from the customers. Why??? U bloody cheaters.

7. FORECLOSURE CHARGE:
In lieu with RBI Guideline, Puri charges 4% Foreclosure for Premature Loan closure or Loan Balance Transfer and even in case of Top Ups. When someone is repaying the Principle amount, you should give them some discount for their assertiveness. But you are penalising instead. What is this?

For the Information to the customers of any Money minting Pvt Banks, Foreclosure charge is not to be given if you are pre-paying Loans from ur own pocket. I[censored] r transfering the Principal Outstanding to other BANKS, then there is a provision of a Charge.

HDFC Top Management made the employees at lower mgmt to sell some of the ‘Award Winning’ products which only can be sold when you mis-sell or half sell or under sell or by putting a Gun at customer’s head. When a customer complains, it is the poor hand to mouth earning PB/RM is put infront of the Firing Squad by these CHs. PB/RMs’ career is at stake becoz the management who is instigating to hit the dash board in every sec mail by the theory of BEG BORROW STEAL and UNDER SELL will stand down.

9. HDFC Bank and Restaurants

Mr. Puri, u actually dont know what do you want. Your country head forwarded a mail, which is written by sarfaraz ahamad, an ex HDFC bank employee and presently working with DSP merril lynch, on 19/09/08 in which he compared grocery shops and restaurants with bank. According to that bank employee should not have any life as he mentioned by way of powerpoint presentation that when restaurant does not ask for food to be ordered in particular business hour say 9 to 5. Then he said If you buy a shirt from zodiac store from mumbai then you can get this replaced in kolkatta from a another shop of zodiac and this is a lie of that year as it is not easy to get the goods exchanged from the same shop also.If Mr sarafaraz is fan of this idea then why he had left HDFC Bank.

As a Samosa Bank, ur customers tell ‘sometimes we don’t understand whether we are in HDFC Bank Branch or local train compartment’. There is no difference between Hawkers and ur Sales Managers.

U made their life like rotten Hell. How you expect them to provide service to the customers, when your tendency is to suck every penny of a common man?

Your employees are no more frightened from Cancer, AIDS, Heart Attack, Rail/Road Accidents because the virus you have made (i.e. CHs, ZHs, ASMs, RSMs, ZSMs) are spreading MEMO disease. Every now and then employees fear this deadly disease. CHs, RHs can unanimously issue Memos to everybody without providing the chance to defend. Even Aajmal Kasabh getting a fair chance of defending himself, why can’t your employees get any? Is your HR sleeping?

HDFC Bank — Charged children account without any reason

HDFC Bank is biggest decoit i have ever seen. Couple of years back their agent came to my place to open children account. The condition was to have Rs 10000 FD and you can maintain 0 balance.

Recently they charged Rs 330.90 suggesting that i have not maintained minimum Rs 50,000 balance.

They change this scheme in Apr 2010 without notifying customers or atleast me.

How can any bank do that? If they change any policy they must notify customer in advance so that either customer can close their account or maintain balance according to new system.

However, i think RBI (regulators) are just sitting idle. Nobody seems to be working for the customers. How many people in this country can maintain Rs 50,000 balance and that too all of a sudden.

I am shocked.

HDFC — POOR RESPONSE FOR QUERY

Dear sir,

I have have been chrged excess procerssing fee which is more tha sanction amount. I have send mail to concerned persons and to Branch, Now no one is responding including BM, not responding the mails. when send the maIL customer care they are also not responding, mail on the web page are also not responeed. I could never believe HDFC id workiing this way. All loan seeker may share my experinece if they are thinking loan from same organisation.

HDFC Bank — harassing about a loan we didn't take

HDFC Bank has been making several calls a day regarding a loan which we never took.It was taken in the name of one called GOPI SINGH, resident of Hyderabad and we live in Nuzvid.That person has given our contact number as his and he has not been paying the EMIs for the last two months and the Bank is calling about that loan and SMSing us about the loan.We explained them that it was our personal number and we don't know any GOPI SINGH.Yet they continue to call us and we feel very inconvenient and disturbed explaining to them every time. We also explained that we would contact a lawyer and tack action but they would not refrain.I want a solution for this problem.We even traveled to Hyderabad to meet the bank staff, at our own expenses and the bank states that the person has taken the loan through attachment and no photo of him is available and they only gave the address of the person.I want to know what to do to stop these calls.

1) I met with an accident on December 31st 2009 during office hours at 3.00 PM at Malad Orlem Branch, I had gone outside the branch to have a cup of tea ( the branch did not have a tea vending machine, fact confirmed ) and a biker hit me and the impact was so tremendous that my wrist suffered 3 fractures ( multiple fractures ) . I had to undergo two surgeries for the same. The orthopedic had clearly stated that I would be bedridden for 1.5 month at least but IT was ME who reported to office on the 12th day and to my surprise the leaves of 12 days were adjusted against my PL balances and SL balances and I was denied a special leave. SPECIAL LEAVES ARE FOR SPECIAL EMPLOYEES ONLY?

2) I had my marriage ceremony on 4th Feb 2010 and I was given a leave of 7 days only for completing and returning back from my marriage and to my utter surprise the said 7 days were treated as LWP and I since I could not report to office on the 8th days I was issued a strict disciplinary MEMO . I had requested for additional leave of two days on Mail when my phone calls were not answered by my supervisor, my supervisor termed the mail as SARCASTIC . NOTE that the entire 10 days of leave were treated as LWP and a WARNING MEMO was also issued to me. Marriage is and important event in a person’s life and with this kind of behavior shown to me my marriage memories are scarred and will always remain so. I AM NOT SAYING THAT I DONOT WANT TO ADHERE TO RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE ORGANIZATION BUT WHAT HURTS ME THE MOST IS RIGIDITY WITH WHICH THE RULES ARE IMPLEMENTED ON THE EMPLOYEES. DOES HDFC BANK NOT RECOGNISE THE SOCIAL OBLIGATIONS WHICH A HUMAN BEING CAN HAVE OR I THINK IN THE QUEST TO BECOME A BIGGER BANK IT IS WILLING TO MURDER PURILE HUMAN SENTIMENTS?

3) My leave balances were reduced as well as my Salary was not paid to me for the same leaves Example in the month of Feb 2010 I was LWP for 10 days and my PL balances were also reduced by 10 days, it was at the time of calculation of notice period dues that I raised the issue with HR and had to get the same rectified . Leave card helpdesk clearly told me that I am lying and that My assertions were false but to my surprise I got a gentle mail stating that My PL balances are 19 and not 11 thus accepting the mistake .EVERY EMPLOYEE SHOULD LEARN TO DO HR AUDITS !!!.

4) Since I have to visit branches located at various location in the city of Mumbai I end up spending at least Rs 4500.00 Per Month on conveyances. My travel might range to Kalyan, Nalasopara, Dombivali, Naigaon, Khar Bandra, Worli, Borivali, Goregaon Andheri, Dadar, Worli just to name a few locations and a sum of Rs 4500.00 is a dismal figure considering that in a month I am at branches ( NON BASE LOCATION )for at least 22-23 days however to my surprise it was conveyed to me by my supervisor that (a) First class fare is not eligible (b) Rickshaw fare is from the nearest station only, still I used to lodge a claim of Rs 2200 to 2400 and to my disgust even that was denied .if I take a average of 4500 then in the period of 11 months of tenure in HDFC bank I have spent approximately 49, 500… and till date my reimbursement have been only Rs 16, 100.00 ONLY. On raising the issue I was told by my supervisor that the HR policy says like this and moreover my expenses depend on my mode of travel . I can challenge that in my tenure of 11 months I have never boarded a MERU cab or any luxurious mode of travel. What was worse is the fact that questions were raised on my boarding AC buses of BEST since they are EXPENSIVE ….. Should I consider myself a Deputy manager of the country’s fastest growing bank or a Carpenter’s laborer who should travel in filthy second class compartment of local trains and wait in serpentine ques of Buses and still manage to REACH OFFICE AT 9.30 AM and that too with a Bag which weighs not less than 6-7 kilograms? GOOD AND INNOVATIVE METHOD OF COST CUTTING!!!






5) My supervisor told me that I was a confirmed employee of the bank and this act was done to show that the Organization CARES about me, but to my utter disgust it was because of my confirmation that I ended up Paying Rs 34225.00 to the employer as my short notice period dues ….. during confirmation neither was my salary increased nor my designation changed and you can very check with MY HR RM that I had joined HDFC bank on the same salary as I was drawing before and I had joined HDFC from a very reputed New age private sector Bank . WHEN IT COMES TO RECOVERY OF NOTICE PREIOD DUES YOUR ORGANIZATION IS ONE PICE FATHER MOTHER BUT WHEN IT COMES TO COMES TO REIMBURSEMENT OF GENUINE TRAVEL EXPENSES YOUR HR POLICIES COME AS A HURDLE …… CARE OR CRUELTY?


6) LAPTOPS provided to me was 8 years old and when they malfunction questions are raised on me as to why I could not use properly and the blame comes one me that I donot know how to preserve the assets of the organization…. Even the new small wipro Laptops are a real pain to use since they so non user friendly and inconvenient to use but the productivity expected from me is rising at a rate which is higher than increase in inflation rate in India .A GOOD CARPENTER DOES QUARELL WITH HIS BAD TOOLS!!!


7) When requested to increase my salary since there were a lot of incidental expenses related to my job, I was quietly and politely told that “ Yes I do accept that salary is low but you don’t need money at this point of life ….. You need money after five years”. ITS HIGHTIME THAT PEOPLE START READING TIME VALUE THEORY OF MONEY!!!


8) Since I had to do branch audits, in 90% of the cases I could not take my lunch before 3.00 PM, (your branch timings end at 2.30 PM) and as informed by my supervisor I cannot take lunch during official hours because the customers are present in the branch and as a result of which my health had deteriorated so much that sometimes during a month I had to stay on liquid stuff for days ….for doing the branch audits I had to leave house so early that I could not get my food prepared so early and what I got in return ? SECOND CLASS TRAIN FARE and comments like “U ARE NOT PUTTING IN YOUR BEST”!!!


9) The employer and employee relationship in HDFC Internal audit department as understood by me is completely ONE SIDED ….. Wherein the employee completely famishes himself in the service but returns, rewards, recognition is only there for seniors not for the junior staff. Discipline etc expected is of the highest order. EMPLOYER EMPLOYEE RELATIONSHIP SHOULD BY SYMBIOTIC IN NATURE BUT IN HDFC BANK IT IS CATASTROPHIC!!!


10) In my tenure of 11 months I have seen 9 persons including me who left the organization to name :Myself, Tanvi Patwardhan, Aditi Mehta, Sapna, Divya Kunnath, Meghna, Jayanthi Naidu, Masumi Agarwal, to name a few …. My bigger question is why is there no introspection on the attrition?


11) My H.R R.M M.S Pushpa D silva should be given the award for being the best DIPLOMAT because initially she had said a sum of 8000.00 would be paid to me monthly on account of traveling /Mobile/Incidental expenses and when the same feature was not reflected in my offer letter AND WHEN I RAISED A QUERY I was diplomatically told that “ all these are out of the pocket reimbursements and you will get it as a reimbursements” I very well remember this statement but to my utter surprise she very diplomatically and categorically denied making this statement when recently I had a word with her .PROMISES ARE NOT MORE THAN WORDS AND WORDS ARE ALWAYS MEANT TO BE TWISTED!!!

12) On the day of Babri masjid Verdict case ( 30th sep 2010) I requested my supervisor to allow me to go home at 4.45 Pm since the situation was volatile but the reply given to me was “ There is no official communication from the Admin team and even the girls are sitting in the office, what is the need of your going home”



TO CONCLUDE: CAN HDFC BANK BANK COMPENSATE ME FOR RS 67, 655 MONETARY LOSS (33400 UNDERRECOVERIES ON TRAVELLING FOR OFFICIAL PURPOSE + 34255 OF NOTICE PERIOD DUES) AND THE INTANGIBLE LOSS IN TERMS OF LOSS OF MENTAL AND PHYSICAL HEALTH? AND MORE IMPORTANTLY CAN THE WORKING CONDITIONS IMPROVE ?

i have account no [protected] in name of JAINCO VALVES PRIVATE LTD . today i given my son 2 cheques to get withdraw cash from hdfc bank of totalling Rs 40,000 . he goes but the bank refused to honour those by giving simple reason that the I.D PROOF I.E DRIVING LICENSE WHICH he is showing is duplicate . although he is showing original license to Mr T.S AHUJA , BANK MANAGER AT ADARSH NAGAR BRANCH JALANDHAR . he has also requested manager if he want to confirm his identity just call on the cell & ask whether person is genuiel or not but the manger not listen further he also says ok if you dont want to honour the cheques just give the reason in writing . but manager not listen & says do whaterver you can he will not honour the cheques . my simple question is to banking authorities that why they irritate the custmoers just because they have not accorunt on their respective branches . my question is that WHY HDFC BANK MAKE THEIR OWN RULES & MANAGERS AT BANK IRRITTAE THE CUSMOERS to open the account in their branches.....

company is focus only middle management employees, not to focus on ground level employees, recently company has to push out some recent employees, how did u calculate such a people is not working , you just inquiry about employees, more over u r team depend on what the boss are comments , is only amount in rating matter, it is not correct, even u r hr team is worst , no one asking who are revealing the company. not doest not get feedback and every thing, only think is polishing who are polishing people they only survey in your company , icici bank is very bad, not good, no manners.

My cousin works in HDFC residency road srinagar JK and is experiencing lot of humiliation and bad treatment from the Branch Manager and Cluster head. The height is that on the Gazetted Holidays they have to go the the bank without any pending work. My cousin is not so daring to revolt and is so scared of losing job. I am planning to move to the Lobor Commission if my cousin's problem is not resolved.
