I am having a credit card ending with number xxxx xxxx xxxx 8022 valid upto 2013 and the credit card statement forwarded to me for the current month didn't have any transaction details. Unfortunately during this month my son, who is also the add on card holder, used the card to write his exams for which their company will reimburse the amount on production of the statement as proof if produced before 26.01.2012. Since the current statement is not having any details, we have contacted the customer care call center for the past 5 days without any response. We get a standard answer of 24 hours or 48 hours time limit to forward the statement with all particulars. Even today (24.01.2012) , when I contacted the customer care call center, the lady handling the case assured me that it will be forwarded to me 48 years after 26.01.2012. I have also took up the matter with their customer care department by mail. But so far nothing has happened and they are also not allowing me to contact their superiors to discuss the matter.
The attitude of the people at the call center and at the customer care department is very irritating. Because of their mistake or inefficiency, we may have to incur a loss of Rs.35,000/-.If the people sitting at the higher position are so nervous or not interested to address the problem, then it is high time that the bank should either remove those people from that place or close their customer care department.
I want to put this on record, so that people must know the real face of the organisation in spite of their mind catching advertisements.
