[Resolved]  HDFC Bank — wrong bill

i had applied for a credit card on around ending of july this year there was some lady named UMA who told me to produce previous month bsnl bill for which she would wavier off initial fee for credit card.i told her i dont want to do any smart payment from my card for further bsnl phone bill payment . after around 2 months i get a message that amount rs1294 was debited from my credit card. when i had not used my card at all . when i called the customer care they told me it was for my phone bill and i had applied for it(which i did not ask for) and the bsnl bill was paid already for last month. i went to hdfc bank in mg road that lady was not in office , i had to speak with some bank manager named mrs shivani singh who was more busy in her own bank work and her people then helping me out with my problem, i had to wait till she finishes her work , she asked me to write a complaint to hdfc credit card people. she had no clue of what to be done and says credit card is not her dept, how come she is the bank manager then and for what..people in bank dont know how to handle a complaint or an angry customer when i spoke with that executive UMA she told me i had applied for it seems... i have no hope that i would get a clear help from them . mrs shivani told me first it would take about 3 days and then told 5 days, to get reply from credit card dept. i really dont know even now for what reasons the amount 1294 was used . the card was not used at all .. i find the whole hdfc banking sys a complete fraud . it had happend even before one guy asked us to changefrom normal hdfc visa debit card to hdfc platinum royale debit card for no extra charge , when i saw amount 400 was cut as annual fee. i am so angry with the inconvenience they have caused ..
