[Resolved] Hindustan Unilever Pureit — Pure it gets moss | |||
After changing the battery in May Pureit has been repeatedly getting moss (algae) in the bottom transparent chamber. Even after cleaning repeatedly it is reoccurring. The customer service person says battery is defective and algae is due to sunlight (in the month of July in mumbai). Also tells me I have to procure new battery but tells me it is not guaranteed. So if it doesnt work even the next day I have to procure new battery by paying again. Also no guarantee of the algae not returning. HOW ARE YOU TALIKING ABOUT PURE WATER!!! Also since I did get my battery changed no service was done but I still payed a service charge for the service person telling me NO GUARANTEE!!! In my experience please dont get Pureit. In the above case I did NOT get my battery changed but was charged service charge rupees75 for the person standing around and telling me battery is defective and nothing has a guaranty.
