[Resolved]  Hitachi Home & Life Solutions (India) Ltd, Khosla Electronics Pvt. Ltd. — INSTALLATION OF DEFECTIVE AC MACHINE

I bought two split AC of HITACHI(RAU410KRD 0.9 TON & RAU413KRD 1.2 TON)on 05/06/2011 from KHOSLA ELECTRONICS PVT. LTD. 110,RAJA S.C.MULLICK ROAD, KOLKATA-700047 Bill No. ac/13969.On 12/06/2011 as per sheduled men from HITACHI came for installation but after insalling the first one(RAU413KRD 1.2 Ton)they said the ac is not working and as it is SUNDAY it can only be repaired on next day.We called HITACHI customer care and after repeatedly demanded upon they agreed to send TECHNICIANS who came and check the machine and said POWER CHIP IS NOT WORKING NEED TO BE CHANGED but as it is SUNDAY nothing can be done.Again we called the customer care and after exchange of some hot words they send a new POWER CHIP.The technicians changed the parts but still it was not working.We demanded a replacement of the machine as its a defective one but they said they cant do anything we have to talk to the higher authority.We went to the retailer KHOSLA ELECTRONICS and asked them to talk to HITACHI TO REPLACE THE FULL UNIT AS IT IS NOT WORKING FROM THE VERY BEGINING AND SO DEFECTIVE.We talked to HITACHI branch service incharge Mr. Subhankar Dutta he promised to replace the unit next day and send an confirming email.But in the email he wrote that unit will be replaced within 15 days subject to availability in the meantime they will repair the existing one.Technicians from HItachi came on next day repaired the unit initially it was running but in the middle of the night we saw the indoor unit is not working water iis pouring from it and outdoor unit is running with tremendous noise.Next morning all the flat owners of my building complained that they could not sleep because of disturbing sound produced by my ac.We again called HITACHI to take the machine from my house as it is not only defective but dengerous to run and disturbing to my neighbours but they said they only will try to repair it at my place.
