[Resolved]  Hitachi Quadricool 2 Ton AC — Silent AC makes noise complaint not resolved

I have been complaining about the new 2 ton Quadricool hitachi AC purchased after reading the features as Silent AC. On checking the service engineer says it is the sound of air flow which is more than even a roomcooler.The temperature on a 30 mins test shows 28 to 29 degrees. The company replaced with a new machine which turned out to be noisier, accepted and tested by the installing personnels. It was implicated that I as a customer influenced the installers to write the sound problem complaint. This complaint has still not been addressed to since 29th january'09. Repeated mails do not illicit response . Aren't these delaying tactics of the reputed company.
Today despite consumer forums a lot many are being harassed by the companies themselves.
Help and advise required !!!

HITATCHI-1.5 tons (quadricool). — Noise problem

from the day when i waz refill gas in my window a.c a new problem has occured.
an uneven sound.
i had registered complaint so many time regarding this problem but there is no progress in this direction .
please pay attention regarding my complaint.

We are staying in Dubai since 1982 . As we trust your products and most of products we are using in our house are from your company.During 2007 july. 11 we purchased 2Nos. Airconditioners from your Deira EROS ELECTRICALS 1.5t-1NO., 2t-1No. unfortunately few days before when i switched on the Air conditioner it gave tuck sound and compressor stopped working when i enquired with your Dubai dealer he told me he will charge 350dhs. for compressor 150dhs service charge and checking charge 100dhs. in case we are not giving for repair.I checked in the net that compessor is guaranty for 5years and i still remember that the shop keeper when we purchased told us same.
Please inform me what to do.A reputed company like yours do like this, how a common man like me will have trust in your products and how i can buy any of your products in future. Please give me justice from yourside.

I am facing similar problem with the Hitachi 2 ton Window AC (Quadricool TM) and the company has not responded. I am not able to sleep in the high noise this AC makes and the company says that the sound level is normal (even without testing it with a sound meter!!!). I am thinking about taking legal action now.

AC Red and Orange Led indicator is on. No signals from remote works.

When AC is switched on, Red and Orange LED is on. No Signal working. Cleaned the filters and tried pressing on windows and reset buttons. Still signals from remote is not passing to machine and its not working.
