[Resolved] Home Loan from Axis Bank — Wanted to Share my Learnings about why not to approach Axis Bank | |||
I would like to share with you that my agony of applying for a home loan at Axis Bank has finally been relieved by Deutsche PostBank Home Finance Limited. First of All, I would like to mention to you that Retail Assets Division of Goregaon lacks experience in how to communicate and attract customers. It may Because of the fact that being mere literate doesn’t mean being educated. Your staff members handling customers out there, is not well versed on the subject of retail banking and guiding the customer through the procedure to apply for a home loan. I will never in my life approach axis bank again for a loan nor will I recommend it to any body, for your bank policies are highly non-flexible, there is no co-operation within you branches across states, pathetic poor communication with customers, last but not the least in-fighting between zones which will some day bring down your banks growth in this competitive world. The RAC goregaon Branch does not understand what is meant by an Agreement for Sale, for when I had given them the document for same even before I had signed the same to suggest me the bank funding schedule, they simply slept and did not even bother to open the document. Instead they said Bangalore division would do the necessary evaluation and RAC goregaon would simply abide by it. I would suggest future customers to be aware of such commitments being given without written evidence, for else honest tax payers like me wouldn’t have to suffer such agony of getting the sanction letter but not disbursement. I had lost my piece of mind over an approved project, imagine what would have happened if it were an un-approved project. I was charged Rs 5515.00 for issue of sanction letter, what is the use of such sanction letter if disbursements are not done, especially when the bank has a chance to dictate the terms and conditions even before the agreement was signed, and were well aware of the project that would be funded even before the agreement was signed i.e. Especially an approved project in your bank’s own list. I wouldn’t mind giving this amount as charity to a needy NGO than give it to your bank. Overall I had a very bad experience and want to convey to you to take a note of the same, so that respectable customers like me don’t have to suffer by approaching axis bank. We all are working in a private sector industry where customer focus is the prime, one customer driven away will convey the same to hundred more, who will convey the same to thousand more… and one fine day, the bank will suddenly feel loss of business. The Only positive thing about your goregaon branch was that they returned my documents all safe and sound, and refunded me the excess amount beyond Rs 5515.00 without troubling me. Honestly I was not expecting your bank to co-operate at all. Hope you will take this in the right spirit and work towards improving your bank policies.. The wordings are straight from my heart and not meant to hurt any individual, but to point out flaws in your banking administration, its policies which drive away a customer’s piece of mind. You can share the email with your MD, who would appreciate an honest Customer Feedback who has lost faith in Axis Bank. Was this information helpful? | |||
