[Resolved]  Home Town Furniture — Incomplete delayed delivery with a faulty Item

Hello:

We have purchased a Bed Set from HomeTown, Vikroli(Mumbai). The set includes following items
1. Queen Bed Set
2. Side Lamp tables(2)
3. Wardrobe

We purchased the Bed Set on 26/09/2010 (full payment made on purchase) and the Delivery date at mentioned on the receipt is 3/10/2010.

However, the Bed is yet to be delivered, Wardrobe was delivered on time, but it’s faulty, and assembly guys acknowledge the fault, key to mention the wardrobe is not fixed yet.

Most disheartening part, Home Town Customer care service is pathetic and they simply don’t know how to handle the complaints and talk to consumer.
I am forwarding my complaint to Consumer court Mumbai and registering a forgery complaint with police.

Futher to above post -

I asked Home Towm Vikroli ( Mumbai) to refund my money.

They are delaying the refund activity and today they said it would take 21 days!

Its just harrasment !!!

They are creating their own rules without any value to customer !

Hope anyone from future group is listening!
