[Resolved]  Homeshop18 — Not received refund cheque

This is to inform you that I had placed an order for Demonte 5pcs stainless steel coloured Canister set on 27/5/2010 vide order No.[protected] for Rs.749/-. Payment was made on CASH ON DELIVERY MODE. I received the product on May 30th 2010 by blue dart Awb [protected] to my address

When I opened the product I saw that they had sent wrong product- Demonte 5pcs stainless steel canister where as I had ordered for Coloured canister. I had returned the product back to Homeshope18 business partner Demonte, Noida on May 31st 2010 by TNT courier as advised by the customer care executive from Homeshope18. They told that they will be dispatching the refund amount with in next 15 working days. However, on verification from the "Track Your Order" option of the Homeshop18, I could see the information that the refund cheque is dispatched on 11th June 2010. Even customer care executive called up to inform that the cheque has been dispatched & will be reaching in 2 days. During that conversation I also rechecked the mailing address.

But later when I called up after 2 days customer care executive informed that the courier has returned status shows that party is shifted the house. Then I came to know that they have mailed the courier to old address (address I used to place my 1st order[protected] on July 15th 2008).
Again I have given them the mailing address through phone & also through email. Today 1st July 2010 when I called up to know the status, Mr. Lalit customer care executive of Homeshope18 informed that it will take 5 working days to receive the refund cheque. He cut the call when I asked for more information. I called up again then Customer care executive Mr. Rahul told that the courier was dispatched again on 24th June 2010 through First flight. Consignment number ZD5764927. When I checked the status in First flight track my shipment option, it shows the status – PARTY SHIFTED. Whereas, we are still residing in same address. & which is already informed to the customer care through enormous phone calls & emails (every time I had got a reply during conversation that they had made note of this).
This is so very unprofessional. Now Mr. Rahul is asking me to furnish address proof to get my refund. Why are you guys playing around? Please send the courier to the correct address. I am ready to show my pan card or what ever proof when courier guy comes to “MY HOUSE”- the address I have already given many times.
One strange thing is that none of your customer care personnel know about the actual position. They have been trained to give wrong information. I feel they have a standard dialogue sheet in front of them which they keep repeating again & again.

I just want my money back.

that’s quite a mess! I once returned an item for refund and got it in a couple of days. Your issue might be due to change in address, the call centre agents are not allowed to change the address in the system to avoid fraud. Did try escalating the case. Call their customer care they are available 24x7
Did the courier agency miss your order? dude you should call them and check.
