Homeshop18 — Defective Laptop | |||
Hi, I bought one Toshiba laptop from Homeshop18 (Order #[protected] on 21st September 2012. They delivered the product on 29th September (Saturday at 16.10P.M). I found the laptop has manufacturing defect in keyboard as all the keys are getting pressed even when i press one. I didn't install OS as the laptop came without OS. I informed Homeshop18 on 1st October's Morning (Monday) about the laptop's defect and requested for replacement. The executive was pushing me to get it repaired from Toshiba's service center to whom i said no. Why should i use a repaired laptop? I bought a new one so i shouldn't be using the repaired laptop. They said ok we will request for replacement. From 1st to 8th i called them 4-5 times and every time they are giving me excuses. On 5th October (Friday Evening) I spoke to an executive name Vishwas and he promised me that this time i will get a replacement for sure and they will be sending me the courier companies details who will be collecting the laptop from me. Today i called them and they again gave me the number of toshiba's cust care and redirecting me there. I requested to speak to manager and spoke to a one named KAVITA. She told me that you should have informed us same day and now we can't do anything you will have to use this laptop. On the website under the return policy they have mentioned 48 hrs and i informed them withing 48 hrs.
