[Resolved]  Honda Civic car — defective design

I own a hondacivic 1.8 SMT bought on 6/4/2008.have driven only 28000 km in 3 years.last week there was some noise while driving so showed it to arya honda.the engine mount needs replacement costs 7500/-is what the service dealer says.this is due to the low ground clearance.this is not the consumer's fault and is due to a faulty design by honda civic.Honda is cheating customers who get taken in by the pretty look of the car but do not know about the design fault.chassis number makfd152c8n104408.engine number R18A12974579.Honda should replace the part free of charge as my car has never even had a bump

HONDA CIVIC — defected car

We purchased a Honda civic last september from Courtesy Honda, New Delhi( Car registeration number 0715) and the day we took the delivery we felt that the car was pulling to the left and brought it to the delearship's notice.

It has been over an year and we would have contact honda dealership and honda several times and the car has been sent back for repair as many times but in vain.

The car still pulls to the left and as a matter of fact everytime it goes for repair n comes back, a new problem comes up.

Its sad that the company people are admitting that its a design defect and has been found in many cars, yet they have not been able to rectify the problem.

Thanks to the car pulling, our tyres have got spoilt and now my husband is suffering from a tendinitis problem in his left hand.

We have sent enough requests asknig the dealership to replace the car but this has not been taken seriously.

Now, we would be moving the court and plan to send a legal notive if the problem is not resolved within the next two days.

For the record, we have been dealing with Ranjiv and Kovid at the Honda factory for the same and Warron at Courtesy honda dealership.

HONDA CIVIC — Missing accessory /car

i have purchased civic from honda, Vadodara. we have giving car for service at service center twice to Aspen. We had complain of improper balancing, but still has not been solved. Bumper replaced by them but are not properly fitted and gets loose if car runs more kms. despite of repeated reminder still this problem is not solved. i think that the service people are not properly trained

Honda Civic car — Service issues

With this mail I would like to bring to your attention the service support issues I faced with pearl Honda in Gurgaon.
My car is HONDA CIVIC purchased in Sept.2006 Auto transmission model reg.No.DL3CAK 6550.

I had given my car in pearl Honda in gurgaon for routine service on 28th Deccember as there was some noise and after checking the service team told me that one of the engine mounting is broken so needed replacemnet and they donot have part in stock will come from Honda on 30th and we will repair it.I went again on 31st to Workshop and they had replaced one of the mounting and the noise was still there.I asked them to check thourougly.On 31st evening they called and said there is engine pully problem and needs replacemnet and will cost Rs.1100..and they said they have put tempararily another pully of a car which anyway needs replacement.
I went to the service center to check whats going on and they said the new part will cost Rs.4000( I donot know how the prices keep increasing from estimates) and they have ordered to Honda and will arrive on 4th january.Also while checking my car I found scratchs on my Back wind sheild , I asked why have they damaged it but no answer!!!

The car was handled with total non-experience technician and they did more damage then giving any service.Also It looks they are replacing the parts just to incease the Bill amount when the parts are still working fine.
I am trying to bring to Honda notice that such service will definatly ruin the brand Image of the company and put question mark on how they appoint service dealers and they way their technician are trained by Honda.
I have good faith in Honda so I also renewed My insurance through Honda assure from peral Honda Today ( 2nd january ,2010).
Please forward this complaint to the relevant people within the organisation so that they do the needful.I have also registered my complaint in Honda One2One as well on 2nd january 2010.I want my back wind shield to be changed and current issues fixed at no charge.
I have not taken delivery of my car so request you to send this complaint to the concerned person Who can do the needful at the earliest..Thank you…sanjay

Honda Civic car — TYRE PROBLEM AND ALIGNMENT

I my self Kripshankar singh owner of Honda Civic car lodged the complaint to M/s Honda Car India regarding the worst condition of tyre after using only 25000 km. As the Dealer M/s Rishab Honda is not responding us what type of wheel alinement they have done we dont know the tyre before the alinement was in good condition but after the service it was consumed highly we stopped the payment and asked them to give the satisfatory reason but they never attained us as i have purchased four cars fof honda make. what shall i do please advice.
