[Resolved]  HP India — EXTREMELY POOR SERVICE AND NO CARE ATTITUDE

Dear Friends,

Wonder if this Forum will be able to assist in solving my complaint as well take the manufacturer to task for the DAMN CARE ATTITUDE. Details of the complain since[protected] which still remains unsolved for a machine under warranty is as under:

CASE NO [protected] FOR DX 2700 S MACHINE NO INI70201SZ


1) The machine was purchased on[protected] with a on site warranty of 3 years.

2) We faced no problem for over a year and we could write the CD’s and play DVD’S etc.

3) Complaint under case no [protected] was lodged on[protected] as the DVD tray was not ejecting.

4) This was attended by Digitech Services Pvt Ltd on[protected] and the part was replaced.

5) It was our mistake that we did not check immediately, wether the part is correct or CD’s are being written etc. we presumed that since the new part has been replaced it must be fine.

6) For quite some time now we found that we could not write any CD’s, but for some reason or the other did not lodge any complaint.

7) When we also started facing the Fan noise, we lodged the complaint under ref [protected] on[protected] and informed about both the problems.

8) It was attended on[protected], and again the part was replaced without checking what was wrong. This time we tried to write the CD’s in the presence of service rep and it did not happen. He asked us to delete roxio and all other software for writing CD’s. Still nothing happened. He then gave up and said that some one else will come tomorrow ( 18th of April 2009)

9) No one came till 22nd and perhaps only after further complaint and emails engineers from RT Outsourcing Services attended the same and they said that the machine has a reader only ( DVD ROM) and not writer and would get back after checking the case. It was presumed that the earlier replacement by Digitech was wrongly done and again by the person on 17th April ( no details as no report was given).


10) It is the 5th of May today and insoite of numerous calls and emails no action has been taken.

11) There is no system on their website for a consumer to escalate the issue to the senior bosses.

12) It is like being a helpless consumer.

13) Would request consumers to seriously consider the options before buying machines from HP.

we have purchased a note book computer(hp pavillion dv2762tx) on
24.7.2008, for my son(mr. akash) who is studying IIT, delhi. we have
purchased in delhi (bill attcahed ). it got problem when we are at home town
visakhapatnam.we have given in vizag service centre- micro care(reciept
attached). he refused to do service as per net warranty expired on april
2009. since delhi-purchased shop not responded well in phone. we have
urgently rushed to delhi and given in your service centre on 23.7.2009

is
telling banglore office not cleared the case. and asking for 2 years xxtn of waaarnty.we facing your severe problem since more than a month.
please solve urgently

I have purchased a Laptop model dm1note book with TU1080 intel processor from M/S Lalith Infotech Vishakapatnam, which was supplied to me with a technician based at Yelamacnhili near Vishakaptanm. The Note book is preloaded with Win7OS for which recovery was not created by the technician. When I requested for partition of the hard disk he tried which led to OS corruption and system collapse. Later on he deleted all the partitions including the recovery partition and loaded a windows version available with him. I lodged a complaint with your complaint cell bearing No.[protected] dt.18.3.10
So far I have not received the recovery disks as most of my soft ware is not compatible with win7 OS I have been experiencing lot of difficulty. I want to know what I should do to change the OS to winxp platform so that all my soft ware starts working It is unfortunate that your service centre people at Vizag are unable to advise properly in the matter.
