I BOUGHT A COMPAQ LAPTOP MODEL NO CQ40-144TU FROM CARE SOLUTIONS, OPP, GURUDWARA, S.G.HIGHWAY, AHMEDABAD, THERE SALES OFFICER TOLD THAT THIS MODEL COMES UNDER THE CATEGORY OF FREE GIFT OF EITHER KODAK DIGITAL CAMERA OR PHILIPS HOME THEATRE. I SENT ALL THE NECESSARY DOCUMENTS, ALONG WITH A D.D OF 1499.00 RS.. NOW TODAY ON 19TH MARCH I GOT REPLY FROM HP REDEMPTION CELL THAT THIS LAPTOP DOES'NT COMES UNDER THE CATEGORY FOR FREE GIFT. SO I WANT TO SAY THAT FOR GETTING A FREE GIFT, WE NEED TO REGISTER AT THEIR SITE TO GET A REDEMPTION CODE, SO WHY THERE WAS THIS LAPTOP MENTIONED IN THEIR CATEGORY ON THEIR SITE, AND IF MY MODEL DOES'NT COME UNDER THE FREE GIFT CATEGORY, WHY THE SITE GENERATED MY REDEMPTION CODE AFTER SUBMITTING MY LAPTOP MODEL NUMBER, PLEASE REPLY ME AT EARLIEST, WITH PROPER SOLUTION ALONG WITH WHAT TO DO FURTHER. i have purchased compaq persario cq40-108tu from PC Gallery ujjain on 30/12/2008.my redumption number is (S)CND8394PC6 i was said that i will get free kodak camera 9.1 mega pixel. i have send a dd of Rs 1299 to hp redemption cell on 15/1/2009 by SHREE MARUTI CO. SE.PVT.LTD (C.C.NO.7696) . i have waited for 8 week n nw 3 months r over n till nw i didnt get . dont beleave these people they are only cheating .they also said that they will email us but they didnt reply & COLL [protected] PER DAY 10 TIME ATANDING CALL TO COMPUTER AND CUT AND ONE TIME GIVE ME ABHIJET NUMBER [protected] BUT NO AATANT TO CALL .now if i didnt got till 29 march i will take legal action against hp redemption cell and all responsibility of your.

I had purchased a Compaque Presario CQ 40. 144TU model Laptop on[protected]. Also I had sent a B.D. of Rs - 1299/- for free offer of Kodak Digital Camera on[protected]. I had mailed earlier several times inquiring about the position of my free gift but of no avail. I don't know what is the reason for such inordinate delay, but it is too much to wait for such a long duration.

I registered online with the redemption cell and i have sent all the required documents to new delhi as given in the redemption cell BEFORE THE DUE DATE ITSELF..
It was nearly an year i bought this laptop and still i dint get any camera as told by the HP redemtion when i registered..
Is this GAME jus played with a loyal customer or what...
