[Resolved] HSBC — Balance transfer amount of INR 8000/- But not clear payment bill coming every month | |
Ref:HSBC/CC/070814-I 14th Aug 2007 The Manager Centralised Complaints Team HSBC, P.O. Box No: 5080 Chennai - 600 028 Dear Madam / Sir, I am holding a Credit Card with No. [protected] since July 2006. I have availed a balance transfer for an amount of INR 8000/- vide Cheque No. 258550 dated 28th November 2006 for my ICICI card No. [protected]. However, the same was never credited to my ICICI account. On enquiry, As per ICICI the cheque was bounced because of the “Insufficient Fund”. I am still not able to understand how the same can happen. I have called up myself & informed the same to your phone banking but without trying to understand my problem they have been asking me to pay the amount. When I suggested checking at your end to confirm whether the instrument has been cleared or not, they are not wiling to listen to my case & adamant that I need to pay the amount. Now, your recovery department is calling me up & threatening me to, immediately or face the consequences, which I believe is against RBI guidelines. I have attached a copy of my complaint to ICICI Bank in this regard. I sure you will agree that I am suffering all these for none of my fault. You are requested to check at your end whether the instrument has been cleared or not. In case ICICI Bank’s claim is true, you are urged to clear my card account from all the dues & activate the same again. In case the instrument is cleared, please let me know with documentary evidence, so that I ccan take the case up with ICICI bank & I will be glad to pay all the dues. You are urged to look into the matter & do the needful. Note that, I have not heard from you since then in this regard. However as advised buy ICICI (recipient) Bank I asked for encashment certificate for the DD at the telebanking. I am told that there is no provision to issue such a document & I need to get an NOC from ICICI Bank. Further every month interest is being added to my CC account & I am being pressurized to pay back an amount with interest, which I never utilized. You are urged to look into the matter & get the same sorted out by issuing me the encashment certificate for the above captioned instrument; at the earliest. Dear Sir/Madam,
I am using hsbc credit card since last 18 months. My credit card number is: [protected]. I have received the overlimit fee Rs. 500 + Serive Tax Rs. 51.50 on my last credit card statement without any proper reason. I have sent several mails to the hsbc customer service executives through my internet banking to reverse the overlimt charge. But I am not getting the proper response from hsbc customer service executives.Everyone sending different replies about my account transactions. For example, one of the hsbc executive replied me that "your statement dated 21 March 2009 reflects a total outstanding on your card as INR 42336 and further purchases of INR 1413. The outstanding balance on the card was above your assigned credit limit INR.45000, this lead to over limit fee of INR 500 being charged to your card account". As per his reply mail, my credit card balance was within the limit only(INR 43749). So I kindly request you to go through my transactions and reverse the overlimt fee as soon as possible.
A prompt action will be highly appreciated
Thanks & Regards,
Nagalingam V
