[Resolved]  HSBC Credit Card — HSBC Life time free card

HI,
i am HSBC customer from past so many years, and my recent card, i was using my Cerdit card feb 2008, while i got my card it was promised to me that it was a life time free card and no annual fees are any charges will be applicable, but recently i received my statement in which a service charge of 700 and some other charges where put on me.
i did not make the payment in the month of April, (only the extra charges other then that i paid every thing)and in may a late payment fee was charged then the total amount come up to 1400 INR, i called customore care, they adviced me to make the full payment, and close the account and my extra amount will be refund to me, but now the customer services are deny, and they told will not pay my money back and put me on hold for more then 1/2 hrs and more, and final the answer we can not help you and go do what ever you want

Dear Sir,
First of all that, from your side I met to your field officer because that he told me that this is a life time free credit card and many useful for you, on telephone and Your field officer met me at my house and I signed a life time free credit card form against him and I asked him that is it a life time free credit card. He replied that yes, this is a life time free credit card. So, I cannot understand about your provider service. I visited first time with my complain at your C. G. Road Branch and at that time I talk to your office bearers and they have understood my complain and they told, “now your end you are safe this point of view. So you don’t worry about it”. But nobody taken action in this my complain. Further I have registered my Complain No.1. I have taken the life time free credit card. So there should not be any charges from your side. No.2. I spoken with toll free service officer at Your C. G. Road Branch about my complain and he said to me that “there was a mistake from our side (Bank) and this mistake has been solved, the next statement will be with your complain solved. So, please don’t worry and wait next statement. and then No.3. Credit card bill raise with some annual fee, late payment, financial charges and service tax.

Since, it is life time free credit card there is no question of any annual fee therefore I am not entitled to pay any charges.

I never used this life time free credit card. Your bill are totally false. This is a last and final request to you to stop sending bills otherwise I would to like think to approach consumer forum.

HSBC Credit Card — Annual fee despite of Lifetime free credit card

Hi Sir,

I was holding HSBC credit card which was given to me under corporate services with Life time free facility. But to my surprised, when I stopped using this card, HSBC charged me anual fees of 2000 Rs and without any information, late payment charges kept on getting added to my card. After some time, HSBC closed my card and still kept on charging Late financial charges. After 8 months, i was sent a statement which read as Outstanding 7000 Rs. This has resulted into me being defaulter and one of the back has recently rejected my Car Loan.(due to entry as defaulter in CIBIL)
I tried to talk to one RENUKA NAIR from collection department from Mumbai office, and she informed that unless I pay outstanding balance, my name from CIBIL will not be removed.
I asked her why I was charged anual fees and she did not give any answer. I also wished to talk to senior but she did not transfer my call.
This is really surprising that I will have to pay for something which I have never ever used.
Can you please suggest me if there is any way for me to close this without paying these Charges.
