Dear Sir,
I have used HSBC credit card 8 years back and made the full payment by cash of the utilised amount of Rs.15000/- in the HSBC bank in the year 2004. I have received unanimous call on Wednesday from TCS saying that they got by data from CIBIL and have an outstanding in my credit card. The very next day got a call from JM financial saying that they acquired HSBC credit card division and informed me that i have an outstanding in my credit card. have asked them to send me a mail. They have send me a mail this evening saying that the principal outstanding is 15177/- and the overall outstanding is 466000/-. I was really shocked and surprised seeing their mail. My query is
1. As i have paid the overall outstanding how did they not removed my records from CIBIL
2. Even if they claim i have not paid, why did'nt they approached me earlier and approaching now leaving 8 years.
3. If my credit scoring is poor, how come other institutions offered me loans in 2006, 2010 and 2012.
3. How do i resolve this issue.
Kindly help me resolving this issue.
Regards
S. Sridharan
