[Resolved] Hyundai i10 — Manufacturing defect taking more than 2 months to fix | |
I bought a Hyundai i10 from Orion Automobiles, Gurgaon in April 09. Some noise was detected in engine of the car in August and subsequent complaint was made to the local dealer in Baroda - DownTown Motors. The car was sent for examination on 7th Oct 09 and an engineer was summoned from Chennai to examine the fault and relevant parts were sought from Chennai. However, the problem was still not resolved and the case was moved to another dealer Aldiam Motors in Baroda on 31st Oct 09. Till date, neither the fault has been fixed nor has the car been delivered by the dealer. The deadline gets extended every week by the dealer sighting new complications every time. The dealer also says that the similar problem can occur in future as well. It's but natural that if so many complications are occurring in a car which hasn't run even 3000 kms then there is a manufacturing defect which is not acknowledged by the dealer. In the light of above situation, we sought a replacement of the car with a fresh unit from Hyundai Motors Ltd. It is very unfortunate this is happening.I have also purchased an i10 era last month and not satisfied with the performance of the car.My car has mbeen serviced 10 days back and still the problem of wheel balancing not been done.Trying to get this piont to the dealer seems getting no proper answer
