[Resolved] Hyundai i20 — faulty battery | |||
Hello.. I bought hyundai i 20 from sunrise hyundai patparganj..got my cars first servise done by same dealer sinrise hyundai patparganj.just after two days my car wouldnt start i called them and was told that battery must be drained. They told me to call hyundai road side assistance..i did and they sent a man down to check. He just recharged the battery and i was told to keep the emgine running for 45 min. I complied but then the very next day the battery was dead again..i am told to keep the car running frequently to avoid the battery drain..this is not a fair solution..i was not havimg this problam before i got the car servised from sunrise hyundai i wonder how is this possible that a brand new cars battery frains in just few idle hours.pls help me out. This is to inform that the I-10 car we bought with the above details come across with a quality problem.The same vehicle is now being used by my ents in kerala.Last week we observed certain abnormal noise from the gear box.Suddenly we went to the dealer and reported the issue.After their inspection they told that the noise is because of the bearing(Crown bearing) problem.THis has happened on 11/06/2009.We came to know that the process of repairing will take around three weeks which is quiet inacceptable.We just want to know why is it taking this much time.We are badly suffering because of this issue.
Kindly could you please update me with a solution

Hyundai — FAULTY BRAND NEW CAR
I had purchased one car from their dealer in March 2008 & within 10 months and 10000 kms the engine of the vehicle had to be overhauled. Even after complaining to the head office in INDIA no step was taken to resolve my complaint.I feel tremendously cheated by the company .
