Re: ICICI BANK -Fixed Deposit #[protected] dt. 15 May 2007
Through my internet banking account I applied for issue of FD. I hold a saving bank account with ICICI BANK sector- 27 Noida (Which has now shifted to sector -50).
The FD receipt was couriered to me last year which I never received. The bank never informed me about the same.
On maturity of FD (14th June 2008)- when I asked the customer care of the bank to credit the maturity amount to my saving bank- I was asked to visit the home branch in sector-50 Noida. When I visited the branch ?it said that this FD was not issued by this branch so you have to visit Rajnagar ?Ghaziabad Branch which at great distance from my residence.
On close scrutiny I find below problems-
1. The FD must have been issued by the same branch if it was instructed through internet banking through saving bank account. It was not done.
2. At the time of opening of FD ?it was instructed to link the same with saving account so that on maturity it is credited to the saving account-It was not done
3. If the courier was returned ?the branch from where it was sent ?they did not inform me about the same, here, my address & mobile number remain the same & I am getting all the other communication from the bank at same. The bank never took pain to inform the same.
4. I had to spent INR 200 on petrol to first visit the sector-50 Noida Branch & then Rajnagar-Ghaziabad INR 300 & wasted time.
5. I received the maturity amount after 90 days ( on 17th September instead of 14th June) on the amount which must have incurred interest if put to the same bank as FD. They did not paid any damage on account of above failures.

I faced same issue as above.

It looks like ICICI or corresponding unit of ICICI has started cheating people.

    I wish to have whoever the goons, from ICICI trying to pressurize me into paying, please wake up and read from the first email below why I am refusing to pay, why I have been saying that ICICI only knows how to pressurize people to pay, never wants to be accountable for any bad services, never takes blame for distress, incapacitated working means, undue harassments, non-reverts from ICICI managers, causing mental torture and harm, extremely poor and sub-standard services.

    ICICI is the worst bank in the world and to this I swear…

    Read below to understand how bad the ICICI service has been; for how long I have been requesting this bank to resolve matters; how much lies and falsities have been made to me; how terrible the ICICI managers have been; how many times I have been made to wait, waste money and I have been put through such hardships because of ICICI. (This is a fraction of the emails that I have been sending as I needed to reduce the density of the mail)… AND for God’s sake please read from the first email.

    I have been threatened and harassed but I will not pay ICICI…
    It is ICICI who has to pay me – PERIOD!!!

    Please note:
    The letter has mentioned that I have to meet someone at the Lok Adalat, Nyaya Dhegula. Now this letter I received only today (Handed over by my sister), and hence cannot keep my appointment.
    ICICI you are free to proceed in any way as I am clear that I will publicize the terrible harm caused by the bank and I will fight you till the end…
    ICICI has to pay me – period!!!

    Like I have always said; for the past 7 – 8 months, that ICICI is never interested in resolving issues, the recent discussions with you documented blow proves this once again…
    It is past the 14th October and now well past 1200 hrs and there has been no email on the issue…

    I guess I will have to wait for my compensation, right????
    BUT, ICICI always is very prompt in its charging over dues, late payment fees, false extra charges…
    ICICI Is great at getting now more than 12 managers call and threaten for payments (Not to mention that none of them had any idea of the issues); then having a customer wait for 5 – 6 of them, who said that they will meet and not even show up…

    ICICI just pay me my compensation and don’t expect me to pay for such terrible service and a product…
    1. please do not have your sub standard legal department call me
    2. please do not have any of your phone banking officials call me
    3. please stop sending me repeated sms’es
    4. please stop sending me your bills
    5. please, just pay up!!!

    The calling part is not the issue at all…
    I have been contacted by 11 managers of ICICI and none have even the slightest idea of the apathies…
    I have been mailing and sharing the apathies to an extent where I have reached a point of belief, “THAT ICICI is the worst bank”…
    AND, this is a fact…

    I have waited for many managers who said they will meet me and none have turned up…

    My number, if not responded, means I may have been in a meeting… BUT, I always return calls dear…

    Points that you should keep in mind…
    1. Can’t you send an sms??? Like the ones you send when payments are due!!!
    2. Can’t you keep trying to reach me…??? Like all the 11 managers have done!!!
    3. Is a waiting period of more than 7 months a suitable time line to solve problems and issues??? OR is it customary that you pressurize for so long (Hoping people will pay) and then try and resolve????
    4. Do you even imagine I would pay for such terrible service????
    5. My office address is mentioned below along with my contact data and I start work at 0800 hrs…
    6. I often go on Client consulting meetings so I have always requested to call and visit… BUT, please do not do what the 5 other rock-star ICICI managers have done… That is, to keep me waiting and don’t turn up…

    I WANT TO BE COMPENSATED – period!!!
    I WILL NOT PAY ICICI anymore – period!!!
    I DON’T WANT YOUR BILLS, SMSes, MAILERS, POINTS etc – I want my compensation – Period!!!

    AND, until this is done I will fight for my rights; making everyone aware of the sorry state of affairs…

    I have told the sub-service-oriented bank ICICI so many times that I am now tired of this harassment..
    The emails have now assumed file sizes that do not even transmit successfully; it’s that many times that I have been harassed by ICICI…
    9 managers now have called me and fixed meeting schedules with me; kept me waiting and none of them have showed up…

    It has reached a point where I am stating beyond an ounce f doubt that ICICI is the most unprofessional and disgusting bank in the country…

    I am leaving only the emails that matter below with a view to keep down…
    BUT, please make note that I will not pay even Rs. 1 to ICICI…
    Not just that, but rather I’m expecting ICICI to pay me compensation for such bad, sub-standard and incomprehensibly low service provided…

    ICICI Bank you are the absolute pits…
    ICICI is only god at harassment, pressuring and cheating customers…. No wonder people have committed suicide when they dealt with ICICI!!!

    Oh and by the way none of the 9 managers who called me had any idea of what the issues were… Isn’t that a joke by itself…. Well one of them said that his job was only to collect and not bother about the issue… Way to go ICICI… That’s one for mankind!!!

    Once again a collection agent for ICICI called me having no clue to my grievances and the entire apathy created and sustained by this absolutely non-accountable ICICI Bank…
    Well he asked me to visit Bommanahalli branch like it was he doing me a favour…
    I told him I had already visited that office and had had enough of the trauma to even consider visiting again…
    He said that, he would send someone to meet me on the 21st June 2008 within 1 hour…
    Needless to say, he was extremely rude and abusive and I guess that’s the ICIC way (I hope they don’t expect customers to commit suicide and buckle all the time???)

    Anyways, I waited for 4 hours in my office and no one came…

    So I left for home…

    All I can say is that ICICI thinks they can cheat, swindle, offer sub-standard service; harass customers; create trauma; abuse customers and then harass them, hoping to get undue monies… Sorry, but ICICI has to pay me…
    So where is my compensation?????

AND, what is much worse is the fact that, every one of the persons harassing me did not have the slightest idea of the issues ICICI has created for me; neither the apathy; neither the sub standard service; neither the waste of my time, effort and money etc… All they seem to want to do is, “COLLECT” ICICI dues through harassment

    3. ICICI sure sets benchmarks in the area these days… No wonder people suicide over these things!!!

    4. Stop sending me bills that, I will not even receive; neither care about… It is a waste of paper and please save the same and help towards a GREENER India

    AND, please give me my compensation immediately…

    I seriously agree with these kind of third rated services from ICICI also many other banks, but this is the cheapest bank i heard, collection boys are all gundas bloody bost... if they find somebody soft people they take for ride ... some one really good back up and strong they cockup all and deal... we have to screw them royally... bloody bichas and bost ... people...

    I can under stand the amount of pressure Mr.Devid had undergone.. bloody people having no mercy to take up the issue and settle.

    Atleast get in to action now...

        Dear Sirs,

        Being the law student of the CCS university, Meerut [UP] I have compelling reasons to file a PLI as stated above on 12.01.2009 on account of failure and non development of proper mechanism having with proper check and balances in the banking system to safeguard the interests of general public availing home loan and other banking services of the private bankers i.e. ICICI BANK & HDFC BANK . I have made a deep study and worked on whole existing banking system based on my own case of home loan from ICICI BANK and came to know of the factual position that true spirit of Government priority policy in the public interest for fulfillment of dreams of own house, has come to very serious setbacks only due to the liberal controlling policy of RBI and poor control of MRTPC over the private bankers in controlling interest rate regime/terms and conditions disfavoring the general public applicable to have their own house . All have to accept the discriminatory one side standard terms and conditions of bankers without having any other alternative recourse.

        Since these types of bankers have made all their one side entire standard legally worded and formatted documents and these are get signed from each and every one before the disbursement resulting in slave like positions as of old age Shaukars’ system. From here itself starts the mental agony and torture to all of them.

        Presently some of basic flaws in the uncontrolled/unrestricted banking system in home loan sector as well as in other loans also have following major disparities/flaws .

        1. Disparity in interest rates and terms and conditions between public sector and private sector banks.


        2. Man to man Discriminatory policies in loans only to lure new customers and then compelling them to have higher rate of interests at the sole disposal of bankers.


        3. Non transparency in the system as to interest rate regime of private bankers as compared with public sector banks .


        4. Absence of required control and check and balances in the system making rooms for the discriminatory loan regime in the country.

        Take the live example of my own case apart from numbers of financially effected laks of people of the country for their unheard / unresolved matters are being shown on various websites of consumer welfares. These not to be detailed here itself but will be made the part of PLI .

        I have taken home loan vide loan account number LBYGR[protected] from the ICICI bank in November 2003 on floating interest rate of 7.5 % having 168 EMI of 4816 [ Total liability of Rs. 809088] Out of it I have paid 57 nos of EMI so far till November 2008 for Rs.282060 .
        But unfortunately due to uncontrolled and discriminatory style of this banker I have the total balance liability of Rs. 909980/- consisting 230 EMI of Rs.5260/- . All this is really old age shaukari system .

        For the last more then one year I am taking up my own case with ICICI BANK, RBI & MRTPC but it came to conclusion that due to the open un-controlled regime and non fulfillment of statutory duties by the RBI and MRTPC such bankers are at full liberty to operate the old age shaukari system in the country having man to man one sided their own discriminatory non transparent policies and systems.

        I have booked my complaint with THE OFFICE OF THE BANKING OMBUDSMAN OF RBI in New Delhi vide offically registered complaint number :[protected] ON 29.04.2008 but till date no action response took place at all.

        Similarlry I have made application for investigation and compensation of RS.1000000/- to the Director –General –MRTPC on 27.02.2008 but till date no response or action intimated to me.

        Now I am enclosing herewith annexure ‘A’ having total pages for your kind information that ICICI bank has finally given in replies dated 03.11.2008 and 10.11.2008 his version against my similar notice to ICICI BANK before PLI on 20.10.2008 . ICICI version is totally unacceptable and is effecting similarly to numbers o[censored]ser of their services

        Thus now I put this notice to all of above before PLI that why I should not file it on 12.01.2009 in the HON’BLE Supreme Court of India to impose a fine of Rs.100 crores on ICICI BANK which to be deposited in the Consumer Welfare fund of Government of INDIA and give the direction to State to appoint the high powered Judicial Commission headed by the sitting Judge of Supreme Court Of India having financial experts from SEBI . ICAI, ICWAI and ICSI to investigate the flaws in the whole system.

        I have the similar tragedy with ICICI for my home loan . ICICI have increased the home loan rates from 7.25% to 14% in last 4 years. During the time of taking the loan, it was assured that I will be benifitted if the rates will be reduced in future. However, the situation faced at this moment is very drastic as ICICI is not doing any justice for their exisiting customers.

        This is totally unfair for the existing customers and government must intervene these private banks for doing a justice to a common man.
        Yes these bankers are inordinately charging higher interest rates. It is ridiculous that there is no transparancy & consistency in the floating rate system. I had taken loan in 2005 @7.25% & since then it has only increased & currently it is 13.25%. Why it is not reduced when the market rate is comparatively down & above all why there is no consistency among various banker's rate of interest. Why there is no transparancy built into the system by the controlling authority so that loan taker can assess whether he is being charged correctly.

        I have also heard in news that lower rate at which new loans are now being disbursed, old customers shall not be given the same lower rate. WHAT DOES THIS MEAN??? Then, what is the meaning of floating rate system???? Once the customer has taken loan, then these bankers can actually screw his/her happiness by charging at their whims & fancies under the duress of floating rate system with no transparancy.

        Look, I had taken loan for 120 months which has now become for 175 months. I have bloody become a bonded labour & afraid that my next generation will continue to repay this loan. Thanks to these private bankers & the controlling authority.

        i have the similar experience from HDFC.i am sure all the monitoring body are aware of this agony .But in whom hands the the solutions are, they themselves dont understand what is social justice.so sufferers have to take some action out of it and that is nothing but PIL.
        My first property in B'lore for which i took a home loan from ICICI in Aug'02. I too faced similar interest issues with ICICI and took lots of pains to some how to pre-close my icici home loan in Oct'08. But the tragedy didn't stop there...it chased me with a horror news that my original dockets were misplaced.

        I had escalated RBI and ICICI. No conclusion till date.

        I had been very sincerely following it with ICICI (since its my pain, only i have to be behind them and they behaved as if they are god's gift on this earth). There was one officer(Documents Manager) who used to claim that he was the only decision maker. Hence, i sent couple of registered posts (asking for quick resolution and also a smaller compensation value of Rs.3.00L) anticipating some response...but to my surprise, I have to inform them that i had sent a registered post letter to them.

        After un-precedented follow ups, I was put up with an old personnel introducing him to be (sales head) a higher up and he was the final authority...The moment, I raised my voice after noticing that he too was deaf and dumb, an other gentleman Who called himself as the Regional Head of Documents, Processing & Validation. This Regional man introduced me to an other gentle man in Mumbai who claimed to be from Customer care dept...He put me across to a local manger (who met me claiming that he is the regional business head - i/c of both sales & documentation)...

        Kindly note the way how they are trying to buy time from a ordinary customer like me, just to manage the fire for that moment. After that the steam is lost and you will feel that you are back to square1.

        I had been paying very sincerely and met all their pre-closure conditions like principal amt(it was more or less equal to the initial loan value inspite of paying for 6yrs), fine, interests etc.,

        At the end of the day, I am at the receiving end, as the whole family is upset with the 1st preproty that was bought in my life time and are in mental trauma.

        To add fuel to the fire, the bank's people attitudes are really horrowing...They don't that easily share their names, designations or contact details until unless you bull doze them. In a nutshell, ICICI is not a transparent and customer friendly organisation to partner with.

        Be Aware of the truth and don't get flattered by their Ads / English...All Rubbish!!..
        I too an affected party of ICICI HTL, as they have misplaced my originals. I am not able to fix it up with them till date.

        Planning to move to the media and legal.

        When we go to them with some issue they add salt to the wound and behave as if they are in a different world and we like a beggers!. They are not honest, transparent and customer friendly.

        I am sure if they don't reduce the life cycle of customer's issues or if they are not changing their attitude, than one can very clearly understand that ICICI top management is sleeping!...

        Trust they come forward to help the people affected by their lethargic services quickly even before the client relaises and approaches them for solution!...A long way to go!...

        I am also one of the severly impacted customer.On a fateful day in 2006 took ICICI home loan and thereafter all my hard earned money is being paid as higher interest rates to ICICI.
        Now, after 4 years also, there is no change in the main principal amount due to these higher interest rates.
        No results from escalations to senior management.

        Pls advise if any one has done any legal proceedings and the results from it.

        What mortgage refinance rates you are eligible for will depend mostly on your credit rating. If you have good credit, you will probably find several lenders vying to offer you a low refinance mortgage rate. Since most experts recommend that you only refinance when the refinance mortgage rate is two points lower than what you are currently paying.

          TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN

          I and some of my friends and relatives have taken home loans from ICICI bank and an impeccable repayment track record we have for EMIs all the times.

          Recently, RBI has introduced lot of liquidity in the market by reducing CRR considerably. RBI has also reduced repo rate as per the above mentioned NEWS highlights on several websites, which lowers cost of funds for the banks.

          Due to these measures from RBI, many public sector banks have reduced home loan floating interest rates. But ICICI has not reduced home loan rates yet. Our question is why?
          When RBI increases CRR or repo rate even by 50 basis points, all the banks increase the interest rates immediately. Likewise ICICI has increased its rate of interest home loan with effect from July 1, 2008 and further increased the same from October 1, 2008 even without informing us.

          Why is ICICI not reducing the rates now?

          This is not good ... we home loan customers are not getting our legitimate right of market based floating interest rates irrespective of being a best payer as well as a pretty business giver to ICICI. We are remarkably disappointed by this leisurely approach of ICICI with its customers like us. In the present circumstances nothing stops us as consumers to think for taking proactive steps and to shift our business to a competitor bank by switching over the existing home loans.

          ICICI have a very strange policy to reward its loyal customers with higher rate of interest and to attract new customers with lower interest. Can they explain why they have this policy or they are taking an illegitimate advantage of their loyal customers?

          By any logic it can be justified?

          We humbly request to the monitoring authorities to take a rational & reasonable action against the aforesaid matter.

          Dear Sir

          I am victim of ICICI Bank, as i was caught up with my home loan with them.

          When the RBI increased the CRR or repo rate even by 50 basis points, ICICI Bank is the front runner in increasing in FRR (Floating reference rate) and increased rates by 75 basis points twice during July to sept 08.

          To increase the liquidity and reduce the interest impact, RBI has taken several measures thereafter to suit to the global market. following most of the banks have cut the rates including private banks like HDFC etc. But ICICI Bank has not at all reduced the rates til now, though increased it by 150 basis points earlier.

          I am a genuine customer with track record of EMI repayment without a single default. according to my info, ICICI is getting new customers by reducing the rates like FRR less certain points (spread), but i remained with high interest rate. I really do not know the reason for this type of injustice. It is really unfair.

          If they (ICICI Bank) wants to make good the losses of their businesses such as sub-prime exposure loss or whatever, by this discriminating Home loan rates even from genuine customer like us, i urge you to intervene and do the justice.

          I request you to do the needful.

          Same problem-- strangely, the bank is behaving in unprofessional way despite having good reputation.
          Even HDFC decreased the interest rate for both existing and new customer. Till date ICICI did not come up with the interest rates.

          Very disappointing...
          I took a loan from ICICI bank in May 2006 at the rate of 9.5% floating ROI. They kept on increasing the ROI and today as the floating ROI's have been down, I am still paying at 13.5%. This was increased when other banks were lowering down interest rates. I asked them for a foreclosure and now they have charged me 2.25% for the foreclosure + 12.36% service tax on foreclosure statements. I have had a wonderful track record with them. I asked for a xerox of my documents with them and they have sending them to me correctly. I have been having trouble with them and every time I complained to them they have just been hiking interest rates. I have already spoken to a lot of people in this regard. I have lost faith in ICICI bank. They have betrayed my trust.
          ICICI bank is now making a deal with the existing customers. They are saying that if you pay 0.5% of outstanding principal, they'll reduce the interest rate by 2%. Isnt this open fraud anc cheating? Did they pay us 0.5% when they increased the floating rate? Worst, they dont even show the FPLR value on their website anymore.

          I also want to file a case against this bank. In the very least, we should start a campaing (email/sms) against this bank and ensure this reaches as many people as possible.

          If you are looking to switch, I would recommend SBI bank. Their floating rate has been very well tracking the RBI rate. If your loan amount is less than 20 lacs, you might get the loan for 9.25%. The only catch is that the switch over process has a few hassles. But I the switch over is worth the effort. If you dont want the hassles, try HDFC bank. They are much better than ICICI bank.

          If anyone knows of someone filing a case against ICICI bank, please post it here, so that more people can be a part of that fight against this fraud and cheat bank.
          ICICI is looting its customers who will soon move to PSU banks.
          ICICI wants to recover loss made by it's shabby management of funds fro us customers.

          One should use RTI to find out which bank leads in the number of complaints that has been made by ICICI customers and what is the difference between its closest competitors.

          Its evident that ICICI is following unfair practices (not legally wrong) though, and RBI is shirking away from its responsibility of being a government body to ensure protection of consumers.

          I have decided to launch a complaint in the consumer court against ICICI bank.Against hjgh interest rate being charged to most of the customers. Not Lowering the PLR and deliberately keeping it high. And charging the customer's 0.50% to lower the rate of interest. I have already visited the consumer court in bandra and they have advised me If i have more examples of people with th same complain it will help all of them and ICICI bank will not be able to charge the 2.25% foreclosure charge.What I need from you guys. is 1) Your Home Loan account number . 2 ) Your complain.           I agree with all of you. Infact, ICICI Bank is discriminating two customers in two different ways.

          1. On the existing customers- the floating interest rate is 11.75%
          2. For new loan, strangely the interest rate is 9.25%

          So the new customer will be lured to avail Home Loan at 9.25% without thinking for while that he is being lured to a virtual trap after 2/3 years.

          It is unfortunate that Ministry of Finance, RBI and Management of ICICI Bank is apathetic to concern of various customers. Somebody has rightly pointed out that management of ICICI Bank enjoys favour from Politicians and hence there is no Government regulation to protect the interest of customers.

          Still we have faith in Indian Judiciary.
          I agree with you. But legally they may be right because u and me never had time to read all the documents that we signed as loan agrement. They are surviveing because costumers are still not awaire. To tell you the truth Sales exicutive siged on myloan documents because that had thier targets, they followed me to my house promised me many this (verbally not in writing) and and have disappered. This is above all moral corruption like old time sahukars and money lenders who cheeted poor villagers of all their pocession.

            Mr. Kamath,

            I wish I did not have to write to you as the Managing Director and CEO of any institution, let alone ICICI Bank Limited, is not the responsible person for issues as trivial as Change of Address. However, it is the inefficiency, high handedness and unprofessional attitude of your Customer Service Managers at NRI-MUM that compelled me to write this note to you.

            Since Nov 10, 2008, I had the most unpleasant of experiences to deal with Mihir Vyas, Jitendra Sharma, Manish Bhatia, Sangita Kuril, and Unnati K, with Sangita Kuril sending the exact same cut-and-paste email three times in four days: first on Nov 13, then again on Nov 15, and finally on Nov 17. In order to mark the emails in the inbox replied promptly, your Customer Service Managers simply cut-and-paste the standard responses available on your internal server, but they do not give a damn to what customer is actually asking for. Their behavior is 100% autocratic and totalitarian.

            I have also got issues with your process of Change of Address as well. They will only advance ICICI bank into a bureaucratic organization. I have dealt with the torture and red tapism of your people for past one month to have my address changed. My specific concerns are

            • I have an NRE account. Of course, I do not reside in India. How do you expect me to have an address in India?
            • It is my account. As soon as I furnish my identity (e.g., passport) I should get my address changed promptly to whatever address I want. There should be no other documents requirements.
            • For banks you want to compete with, e.g., Chase, HSBC, and Citi, I get my address changed online – whenever, wherever! Why cannot ICICI be like that?
            • ICICI bank has a novel concept of mandate holder. He is fully authorized to operate my account. He can write checks and he can withdraw money, but why cannot you accept his address as my address? In writing I have requested you to have his address as my communication address and I have also furnished his address proof.
            • Mihir Vyas dictates “For care off address NOC and relationship proof required(original).”
            • Jitendra Sharma writes “You can also use as Ration Card issued by Government of India relationship proof.” How does he expect me to have a Ration Card in India when I reside in some other country?
            • Manish Bhatia threats “We request you to provide us the Court Affidavit. We will be unable to process your request without relationship proof.” If one person lives inside India and other person resides outside India, how does he expect me to execute the Court Affidavit?
            • Sangita Kuril says “We really understand our concern however please note that we do not want a scan copy send by you to us in the e-mail however we require physical documents and as your have mentioned that you have sent it than please confirm to track your status of it.” What’s the difference between a photocopy and a scan copy? Or, did you expect me to send you the original passport of my brother to you?
            • Unnati K delivers the final judgement “With reference to SR86740771, we have rechecked the request, you have provided the NOC along with the request but the signature of blood relative is not original signature(photocopy) and you have not provided brother's passport with request .”
            • For God’s sake, why so much bureaucracy, red tapism and dictatorship?
            • This is not the right path for ICICI bank to be an International Bank, which you strive for.
            • With the advent true international banks, like Citi and HSBC, and growth of other homegrown private sector banks like HDFC, people do have options now. Gone are the days ICICI used to be the only professional bank in India. ICICI bank is no longer professional these days. It’s more like SBI now.
            • I had account with ICICI bank for over six years now, but it is no longer pleasant to bank with ICICI bank these days.
            • Of course, I will do whatever it takes to salvage my money in the SBNRE account, but as a well-wisher of ICICI bank I do expect it to mend its ways.

            I find that many people, particularly the NRIs, are facing problems with the ICICI Bank in getting their addresses changed. Address change in regard to other premier foreign banks is quite easy. This provides a sharp contrast as regards comparative convenience in handling correspondence.

            2. Further, the routinised replies from staff of ICICI hardly achieve the objectives.

            3. ICICI Bank has to stream line and simplify the address change format. The Bank should first be able to explain the customer in simple terms what he should do. This format should be commnicated to the customers, particularly, to all the nri customers.

            4. The Bank should develop two separate modules for address change (a) for NRIs and (b) Domestic people. each module should explain step-wise what is needed to effect the address change.

            5. All the address change formats should be contained in the above respective moduules

            6. HDFC Bank adopts an excellent way of showing the profile which includes all details of the current address, telephone and mobile numbers, e mail address etc. This could be adopted by the ICICI so that the customers know which address is available in the Bank Records. This will enable the customer in initiating a change of address in case he finds the address in the Banks Records obsolete.

            7. Usually, the custmers approach Google Search : The google search should provide for " icicibank.com/nri/address change/formats of documents" .

            8. Similar format may be followed for residents "icici bank.com/address change/formats of documents".

            9. This is important because the annexure for address change in case of residents and nris are different. This opens up the possibility of an nri picking p a resident annex along with his application.

            10. The above should be communicated to all the customers.

            11.This approach will greatly save the time, energy and tension undergone by non-residents in effecting the so called address change.

            12. Incidentally, I faced mch problem in effecting the address change.

            13. Still finds mysel[censored]nsuccessful.

            14. It has been the experience for several years in the past that ICICI Bank has successfully combined technology and customer care vey effectively.

            15. Of late, the divergence between the two has been increaasing presumably automation smacks the ability to discern the customer needs.

            16.The ICICI Bank should effectively move forward in resolving this divergence and get back to its past glory soon.

            I aslo faced the same situation several times with ICICI Bank. I am totally agree with Pradeep. I got a doubt with ICICI internet banking. Weather it is online banking website or offline banking website. Why they are not giving an option to update the address and mobile number online, any way we will login to the website using username, password and transaction password. If the ICICI wants more security, they can send OTP to mobile as the other banks do like Citibank.

            No body have time to send the handwritten documents for address change and mobile number change.

            I hope icicibank will take action on this.

            This is really true, to change address i went thro so much trouble and stress, i cant really explain.

            To do any transaction with ICICI bank, it is a hardship, really troublesome, i dont understand how this kind of bank still functional!!!? see their website, chaotic, you can find what you want!! man who designed such a nasty website.
            I dont know why customer service people dont escalate to higher management about this issues.!!

              Sir,

              Unfortunately, ICICI BANK either through its customer service personnel or through its management is not offering any sort of service to the public and the Bank is losing its credibility.

              I had deposited my Balance transfer cheque issued By ABN Amro Bank to my ICICI Bank credit card for RS/- 20, 000.
              The Cheque had been creared by the ICICI Bank and wrongly credited to some one else 's account.
              Despite my repeated calls and several mails.. they refuse to reply.
              I had logged several complaints through the bank site and also with the customer service representatives.
              the customer service rep reads out the details as being credited to a lady's acc, despite my credit card number and my Name being printed on the cheque.
              I have the copy of the cheque and would go to the consumers forum if my issue is not resolved by the authority.

                i strongly agree with all the complaints regarding i-mint because i am also one of them luckyly i got my i-mint card but it is of no use iam not able to register myself with i-mint every time i try a message is flassed "information missmatched" when i see my bank statement it says ur points are redeemed i even dont know how many pts i have in my account. when i try to contact i-mint on ph then the no is out of order there site also does not open.

                I was able opens the site couple of times. Recently when I tried to log in, it never logged in, there any tab like contact us also was not opening.

                ICICI BANK should immediately withdraw this understanding with I-Mint & let us use the points using their card itself.
                I agree that i-mint customer care is not at all upto the mark. I had placed request for my redemption of my points. I have been following up with them since one month but i have not got my gift. I was confirmed by there executive that they are sending me my gift by blue dart courier but till date they have not sent it. later on when i spoke to there supervisor i was given the excuse that blue dart does not deliver at panchkula where as our company has tie up with blue dart courier. Later i was told after one month, that product is out of stock. I repetedly requested to reverse my points so that i can place a new request but to no avail. I had made atelast 15-20 calls to imint customer care in the past one month.

                I-Mint service is not at professional.
                I don't want to mint any more.

                imint is truly the most pathetic reward system. A rip-off of the multibrand reward system in UK. I don't understand why a bank like ICICI and a company like Airtel have to associate with them. May be because their points are really cheap. Sample this, they offer you a Rs. 2000 item for 20000 points. That means your 10 points or in the best case 5-6 points are worth 1 rupee. For this one rupee you have to spend 1000 rupees with your credit card.

                Example 2 - Airtel gives you 20 imint points for 1000 Rs on your bill. These 20 points are worth 3-4 Rs. That means hardly .4 % of your money. Compare this with reward point scheme of HDFC Bank or Kotak Bank and they feel a lot better.

                I tried registering the card multiple times and then shouted at the call center guy. He confirmed that the date of birth was wrong in their database. This really is pathetic.

                Anyways, as I have taken a ICICI card and an Airtel Post Paid connection, I think I deserve to go through all this. Aha! life is so simple without these plastic cards.

                I had registered and when i redeemed the reward points for a gift, I received a broken article.
                The article was returned by me on the same day after calling imint.
                I had followed all the procedures stated by imint for returning the article.

                Very difficult...I have lost hope of redeeming my points.

                As per my experience with Imint, it is absolutely a unorganised firm with inexperienced customer care executives. I had a very bad experience with Imint. I came to know about Imint only when all my accumulated reward points got transferred from ICICI to Imint account. When I got one SMS from Imint about this card, I contacted them after a week for non-receipt of Imint card. I contacted Imint customer care executive(s) 'n' times over phone / email, but whenever I calls them I gets a standard message (like recorded message) that "you will get the card within 15 days time", but after every 15 days, I used to call them reminded about this. Finally I got the card last month and able to register the card online. The new problem which I am facing is that I am not able to log in to my account and view the reward points. No whenever or wherever I open their website, it is not opening and gets a message that "Connection to imintpoints.com:443 failed". The other funniest thing is that ICICI has never asked/informed before they transfering the accumulated points to Imint account. When I calls Imint customer care executive, they tells me to contact ICICI and when we contact ICICI, they says to contact Imint, which is a very very bad experience... Moreover I don't think keeping this Imint card is of NO USE.
                I agree I get message from Imint regarding accumulation of points but unable to redeem them.
                i also received a message from i mint that i will receive a card shortly and even after 6 months i didn't received. after repeated persuance finally i received a card with another number which donot match with the original number. when i tyr to register it gives an error message that the email address not available.

                Earlier ICICI bank was directly redeeming the rewards points and I was lucky to redeem my rewards points and receive a gift of my choice. But after ICICI bank offloaded this to Imint all the trouble started. My experience with I mint is very bad. Firstly I did not get the Imint card. After a series of email correspondence and complaints, I finally received a duplicate Imint card in October'09. But till date I could not register the card because the website www.imintpoints.com or www.imint.in would not open. I feel the total system is a farce. I feel cheated and this feeling would not change till I succeed in redeeming the rewards points standing to my credit.

                I agree that this card point has no meaning. I am not able to register on this site. My ICICI credit card shows that there are points on my name but of no use since i am not able to get the i mint card. Site does not register without a card.

                  ICICI Bank Credit Card — Return of credit card due wrong mailing address by icici bank credit card despatch department

                  Sir,
                  My application for cridit card was approved on 22 Sep 2007. Hence ICICI bank approached for balance transfer from my citibank credit cart to icici bank credit card stating that I will get three months free grace period for the transferred amount. I told them that let me get the credit card first. They informed that card has already been despatched and will be getting. But due to the wrong mailing address postman returned the credit card to the bank. Please do the needful so that I can get my credit card as early as possible to pay back the outstanding dues on my card.

                  I am having icici crdit card no xxxx xxxx xxxx 4007 since 12/2004 & I have been paying the billed amount regularly as per statement sent to me. But I did not receive bill statement in Aug 08 & till date Sep 08.I did not notice it due to pre- occupation of jobs at office as well as in home front.This came to my notice when an ICICI execetive telephoned me that he wanted to come to my house for collecting cheque againest outstanding payment towards my credit card.

                  I informed the ICICI execetive that I paid the last bill (statement date July 21, 2008 of Rs4759.92 by ICICI cheque no386870 & this was encashed by them also & as soon as I receive next bill, I will pay them in full amount. But he said that he does have bill. To find out what is happing, I telephoned their call centre &he advised me to see the pending bills in their internat. When Ichecked the bill in the internet, I was surprised to find out that they have charged late fee & interest amounting to Rs.746.21.Since it was the fault of ICICI Credit Card for not sending the bill to me in time, they do not have any right to impose late fee &interest in the billed amount. I am paying them the amout actully spent by me it purchasing various items totalling Rs23952.36

                  Please look into it & request ICICI to take appropriate action.

                  On one hand BSNL is trying HARD to collect the payment from customer as early as possible. Every month they are arranging TELEPHONE ADALAT to settle the pending matters with huge discounts. They have appointed no of banks n post offices to collect the payment.
                  How BSNL can harass the genuine client and regular paying client by denying to accept the payment within due date ?
                  The reason bank staff told me is very ridiculous – he says all cheque we send together after 20th of every month and that’s why he asks us to bring it after 20th ! he is not able to handle my bill till that day and cant keep it in bank and has to send only single bill for collection.
                  Now sir pls tell me HOW AM I RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS CONCERN ?
                  Perhaps it’s the agony of I’m not holding my Bank Account there !!!
                  I have to leave on 18th Feb to Mumbai for some urgent work and will return only after 2nd March. How I will be able to pay the bill within that period ?

                  Respected Sir,

                  I am holding a policy of ICICI Prudential & for this I always pay my premium myself, but it has happened two time with me that without any information to me the ICICI Visa Bill Pay department automatically start the service for premium payment. Many times I have loged a compliant to Visa Bill pay department, But than also nothing happens after two three months they again start the service.

                  Kindly help me in taking necessary steps against them in starting any service without any information customers.

                  i am absoulutely disturbed by the way a reputed bank has operated,
                  please check my previous mail on june 20th where i have requested the customer care to cancell mycredit card([protected]). Inspite of that i have been continuesly send wrong statement and harassed, Now the bank has autodebited 19720 from my account, the money i have deposited towards my home loan amount as a result my Home loan amount has bounced and this has resulted lot of stress.

                  I have spoken to the bank person who agreed to give me a settlemnt letter for 10000/= which i agreed to pay in cash.

                  This particular issue has infact made me loose my confidence in the entire Banking system of icici & My account has become a sount of public property which any one can acess with out my knowledge.

                  This is sunil kumar.g.s, My icici Home loan a/c Number is LBCHE[protected].
                  on 9th of june i received a SMS stating that my loan Emi has got Bounced & the reason given in the SMS was insufficent funds.

                  On 4th June 2009 i have deposited rs 15000(fifteen thousand) to my icici a/c Number[protected].

                  In that case, I dont understand how the EMi could bounce,
                  there could be only one chance that is some one has infilterd into my account, which means that my icici account number is not safe for me to deposit money, if any one can acess to my account any time what is the point in having an debit card, password etc...

                  Further i would like to know how this bounce has taken place, for future i would also like to have an alternate option to deposit my home loan amount, i have lost confidence in your system because of which i would request you to suggest me some other way to pay my home loan rather than deposing my money in the above mentioned account number which is not safe.

                  This is a very serious issue and i request you to address the same immediatly, otherwise i would have to look out for other options to adress this issue.

                  I have been trying to contact the customer care & there was no response.

                  ICICI Bank - Amex Credit Card — Saving bank A/c credited for Credit Card Payment

                  I was issued ICICI AMEX (earlier TATA Amex) credit card no . [protected], the history goes back to as old as in the year 2003 when I was using this above card and wanted to settle by paying the full amount.

                  Following documents were submitted with ICICI Bank AMEX credit card division F&F of ICICI Amex Card, receipt no 643632 dtd 26/03/2003 providing details of full and final payment done of Rs 36, 000/- vide cheque no.433741 dtd 23/03/03 drawn of HSBC Bank, just below

                  My First visit to the bank after doing F& F on 2003 was in the year 2008 reason being in the month of February 2008, when I was going through account statement I noticed Rs 8354.04 was taken out from saving bank account, after checking through various sources I finally came to know after fortnight that this is against card payment, checking through my records I found it that card to be closed (Please note that I never received any calls for payment against this credit card.). I was forced to come down to Rohini Office to show them proof that I had already done Full and Final and closed the card. After that also ICICI took almost one month to give back my money on 24th of April 2008 (highlighted in the attached statement. I had also requested that to close this account to not to harass me again.

                  Again when checking records on 30th July 2008 I found the same entry and my account was debited by the same amount, the process of getting my payment back again started and after numerous calls to customer serivce centre, booking a service request, I was forced to come down to Rohini Office to again show the same contents which I had shown about 5 months back, this time I met Dipti at
                  Customer Service Desk, and had shown all the relevant papers as attached, I was made to wait for almost an hour and was told that within a week's time this will get debited to your account. When asked for any contact no where I can follow up, she was good engough to give her own Mobile no, since then I am trying to follow up on the same no but unfortuantely my bad luck either this no is switched off or no response for this particular no.

                  Same thing again got repeated in the month of December, I had approched one Amrit - ICICI Manager in the same division who had help me out to get my money back, December 2008 money taken out from my Saving bank account was return back in the month of February 2009

                  Now again 25th June 2009 my saving bank account has been debited for Rs 8354/- and I am not sure when would i get this back

                  It has been noticed that since ICICI Bank is imposing Targets to their employees, one of the employee who has not been efficient enough to meet his/her targets is targeting me on every quarter/half yearly/financial year

                  I would require a simple solution of closing my above mentioned credit card and financial imposition of Rs 50, 000/- towards harassement faced every quarter and numerous rounds to the office, telephonic calls, emails, missing on my EMI's etc.

                  I was forced to have a Credit card when i newly joined the company and that time nothing about high service charges were said to me regarding the ICICI bank Credit card. In June 2008 i cleared whatever was due from my side an dcut the card into 4 pieces, wrote a letter to ICICI and dropped at Koramangala branch. For few months no communication. Now from past few months when it is June 2009 they are asking to pay 10, 000+ which is nothing purchased from my side but all Service charges accumulated for this one year. Please advice what needs to be done as paying 10, 000 simply which i have not utulised at all is completely unfair.

                  i made 2-3 call to ICICI bank customer care, and have been assured that i will get the statement on time, but still from past 7-8 months there is no statement of account coming to me for the my above credit card no, and the result, i have again paid the late payment fees/interest , infact i paid on account payments but i have penalised for the same with no fault of mine.

                  I am icici bank customer for the last one decade.in the year 08 jan i recived a bill of rs.25k+.I was shocked to have found that icici lombard had debitted me rs.20k fo the insurance which i had cancelled and they charged me with 13k as charges.I did not get my statement for that month.then onwards I have been regularly sending mail and visted the office at JB Nagar.But nothing fruitful had happened.Then they sent their customer card executive to my house who was also convinced about my problem and assured to resolve the same.Next time they called my neighbour to inform that I have not made the payment deliberatly whihc caused great mental turmoil to my wife who had just returned from hospital from ICCU.I recived a notice in the month of July and conveyed my readiness to pay unless the issue of late fee is resolved thereby I paid a cheque of rs.25K.But to my surprise the I still get SMS for the closed account.Second thing my card amount fm o/s of 1.57 lacs shot to 2.27 lacs.I have already sent mail to this effect and it seems ICICI is more interested in sending the SMS and not interested in resolving the issue.Can any one guide me in this regard.

                  I had been requesting your esteemed bank to get my credit card account closed, with an amicable amount for almost 8 months now, since the pressure was building up for me, due to various reasons in the present economic scenario. and even, i went to the extent of not paying my regular monthly dues, to get you into the act of senidng some representative across for settlement, but that has not helped either !
                  Instead, you made a one time sweep of a large amount from my icici salary account with out prior information or my consent, which did put me in a tight spot for quiet sometime, which was avoidable from your end. after which, you send me a letter of explanation and proding me to go ahead and use the card once again, as it has some more credit limit !! am not interested in associating with ICICI Bank's credit card anymore.
                  Have called your helpline no's and registerd this request 2 months back, and am not given a local address/tel no to discuss, nor has anybody taken intitiative to meet me and resolve this once for all.

                  Am once again seeking intervention for an amicable settlement, and request someobody to come and meet me as soon as possible.

                  ICICI Bank Credit Card — Regarding Payment...

                  Hi,
                  I was holding ICICI Bank Credit card No. (Old No. [protected]
                  - which I had dispute & they had issued new card for this); New No. [protected], since the dispute didnt get resolved for which I had made final & last settlement on 8th of May 2009 of amount Rs. 6500 approx. in J.B. Nagar, Andheri Branch, Mumbai for which bank sent me an letter for final & last settlement.... even after regular email & personally went to branch & gave complaint there is no response bank is sending me the statement saying I have to pay dues also I am getting calls from the recovery agents for the same.... I am having all the relevant documents which I had communicated to bank like final settlement letter; I had send reg. acknowledgement due post, also my previous communication during my dispute issue.... I would like to complaint against this bank... who made my life miserable.... please give me an justice for the same....

                  ICICI Bank — Incorrect billing statements

                  My credit card outstanding was converted into EMIs in April 2009. In the statements that I received for May, June and July 2009 the minimum payment due was Rs. 0.00. In August the minimum payment suddenly shot upto ~ Rs. 10,000 and in September to Rs. 15,000. On contacting them they are not giving any suitable explanation for this. Today I got an sms that the card is overdue by Rs. 28,000. I tried to contact the bank through email on their site several times but it just doesn't work and throws an error message. I've got screen-shots of this error message.

                  They've billed me incorrectly and on top of it they are charging me late payment fee etc!

                  In one of the conversations I was told that I need to pay 2 EMIs every month !!

                  I need an explanation on how they are charging me and a reversal of all late payment fees etc because the statements were not correct in the first place.

                  This is with reference to call received from your ICICI bank agency from Mobile no-[protected]. Today I received call from this number. Lady from other side is asking me for outstanding balance against my credit card about Rs.54, 000/- Apprx. When I ask for card number she refused to provide the same. I am surprise to know that she have my all details submitted to ICICI bank at the time of taking my ICICI bank credit card at Indore (Card number-[protected]). Then I checked with call center there is no outstanding against my card (Screen shot attached for last transaction). Then I immediately called on above mentioned number again she was telling some wrong address of Indore (Jai ambe nagar) but she didn’t disclose the card number for the same when I asked.

                    Couple of months ago (Septemer), I remitted some money to India, using ICICI's money2india service. Under the promotion at the time, I was promised a $125 calling card once the beneficiary received the money. It has been months since then. I have emailed the customer support umpteen times but to no avail. every time their response is 'please wait for a couple more days'. now after getting frustrated when I told them to stop email, they did so very shamelessly without compensating me. I want the authorities to take action against ICICI and make sure I get my calling card and that future customers are not fooled by their big shameless promises.

                      i issue a cheque in favour of icici bank rs 5000 which was cleard from my kotak bank a/c on 14 feb but there is no entry in the statement of icici bank credit card & card charge rs 250 cheque return & 600 as late fees plus service tax .While my min due was rs 2800 .why customer may suffer bcoz of bank mistake i need all the charges to be credit in my a/c & a letter from icici bank for explanation for this thing

                          Hello all,
                          Long back I had taken ICICI LOmbard policy. Then I dint feel like keeping it, I went for the cancellation. I called ICICI Lombard people for the cancellation request. At the same time when verification for the cancellation was going on, without my knowledge they have issued me another policy which I have not requested for. So my first policy got cancelled, and second without my knowledge got added on my name. Again I requested them for the cancellation of the second policy. They tell it is been cancelled in the month of july. but every month in my credit card statement EMI amount for that is getting deducted. July I have requested for the cancellation. its been four months still I am getting deducted amount in my credit card statement. I called them 100 times. If I call Lombard people they say, They have informed about the cancellation to the credit card department, that department has to take care of it, if I call credit card dept people they say, they have not got any cancellation request(info) from ICICI Lombard. Please help me how to go about it. I am getting irritated. I have lost my patience. what nonsense these people are playing. Hopeless service I have ever seen in my life. Please let me know how to deal with this.

                            Dear Sir,
                            I have ICICI bank debit card (HPCL). If the HPCL debit card icici provided there is no surcharge on HPCL petrol pumps.
                            I was used this card for refi;;ing the petron on HPCL and i got charged about 2.5% - 3% . When it was happed many tims that time i emailed to ICICI bank and they simply told it is not in there hand. HPCL should use ICICI card transaction machine. how should i know it before they han't got and already ICICI tied up with HPCL.
                            Please help to how get my money back which are deducted by ICICI.

                              I really do not understand how good you people are. Though i made the payment on time through e-payment.
                              You people charged me Rs.250 as Auto debit charges..

                              Do you people really work.. Getting thousands of salary everymonth, attending calls, sending mails and statements.. Is this only part of your work..

                              Dont you people look at the calculations.. Did i ever tell you people that i will make the payment through my account. I have made the payment on time. It was 5th Nov which was last date to make the payment.

                              My friend adviced me not to take credit card.. Unfortunately i have got it..

                              Let me share how i got this card. I was working with Infosys BPO where i was getting my salary was Rs.10500 as my take home.one fine day ( which was very bad day to me ), I was having my tea where this illeterate (an ICICI executive ) approached me to take credit card. I told him not interested. He begged me that i have not reached my target and he told his family problems. He convienced me and he promised me that he would get my credit limit upto Rs.100000( One Lakh rupees ) . Which is really impossible and ten times my salary.

                              I told him """ Boss, Dont play pranks with me.." he said" Sir i will assure you.. you will get credit limit upto Rs.100000". I was reluctant to take it.. My friend also told about his problems ( he already took that credit card )..

                              His name is Karthik.Sreenivas ( he was one sad victim .. He paid so much towards ICICI credit card.. it was about his fate..) .

                              Why i am drafting such big mail.. ICICI has such good reputation .. Employees please be responsible..Now i am working with reputed organisation, I am getting paid much better than Infosys. I do have few credit cards ( all are Big international banks like, American express, ABN Amro and HSBC ).

                              The service is really awaesome. Even i paid after payment date ( two days later ) .. They have not charged interest.. Though it is justified.


                              I kindly request you to re-consider the bill and get back to me.. Otherwise i have enough time to draft much bigger mail than this..I know few social forums which will always reachable by Commissioner of police and high society people watching it regulary.. I do not hesitate to take this to Consumer forum..


                              You must be thinking " Why this guy is thinking in such manner for Rs.250.. Its my money.. i have earned it .. i have right to enjoy .. not to pay penalities.. for false reasons..

                                I had lost my credit card hence I had requested the blocking of the card, so that no misuse the card. At that point of time the reward points in that card were 1800 points, since the card was blocked the points were redeemed without any consultation with me & I was asked to speak to Imint company customer care to know the status of the said 1800 points. Then I was irritated due to the attitude of the customer care executives answer for my question, that "WHO AUTHORIZED YOU TO TRANSFER THE EARNED POINTS TO IMINT". He said, You must have received the imint card for redeposition of your points. He could not answer the same & kept on requesting me to speak to Imint customer care.

                                I was not interested to speak to them because of the reason that without even intimating me the points were transferred to a different company. However the points were earned with great difficulty hence even then I spoke to Imint to know the status of the points. They said we have all the details of yours & you have changed your correspondence address so you might have not received the card. Then the executive promised me that the card would reach me in 15 days maximum time. From that day more than 100 days are over & my present correspondence address has also been updated even then they have not sent mke any card until now. Hence this complaint to get my points redeemed for the best value & a compensation for having not sent the card or any other details. However I given the card no. orally that I had written on a page in my scribbling pad which got over the card no. is also not there with me now. Further again I took the contact no. from the web & contacted customer care & they are agian accepting that they had not sent the card to the correct correspondence address as it was by oversight we have missed it out.

                                So I need the I mint company to bear all the cost of my appeal & attending the court cost & value for money compensation is requested to the consumer forum through this complaint. Hope on receipt of this complaint the company would correct itself & does not do the same mistake with other people.

                                    I have bought a Health Insurance policy from ICICI Lombard (Policy No: 4034/FPS/02200268/00/000) FOR Rs 3, 00000 ON 21st MAY 07 to 20 MAY 2009.
                                    Total Premium Assured to me was Rs.11331.00 for duration of 24 Months I submitted 17 EMI OF 24 Emi.
                                    Bank assured me that Rs 472.12 would be deducted every month up till 24 months from my credit card (card no: [protected] ), Interest free .

                                    But Bank went against there assurance & get Twice Emi deducted every month, for single policy.

                                    Rs 497.81 EMI PRINCIPAL on 18th of every month.
                                    Rs 69.90 EMI INTREST
                                    RS 8.64 SERVICE TAX

                                    Rs 505.02 EMI PRINCIPAL on 20th of every month.
                                    Rs 70.92 EMI INTREST
                                    RS 8.77 SERVICE TAX

                                    Note: Since 21 May 2007 up to 21 Nov 2008 I am paying without any default.

                                    I personally went to Icici Lombard office in Borivili (west) branch and submitted the related Complaint and supportive credit card statement to the Executive, He confirmed me that I am holding single Health policy of Rs 300000.
                                    I called up Icici banks customer care executives & send many mails regarding this. But I did not get any satisfactory answers from them. Regarding my problem of wrong deduction.
                                    Company should take it seriously; it is the matter of, A Company's wrong assurance.
                                    I feel like cheated with company and get the feeling that after having policy received they even did not care about the customer, they completely forget & try to ignore him. On the other hand they publicly shout & try to convey the message in market that they care the customer better than anyone.
                                    When I call there customer executive they talked with me in a very rude & improper manner & said that I must have taken 2 policies on the same day and same time with same name, and Bank could not return my money as per their Company's policy.
                                    I want Company to take prompt action in this matter and assured me that they will return me my complete money without any kind of deduction.

                                    Please do the needful and reveres above mention amount extra paid by me in my account.

                                    I had a credit card vide no. Is [protected] company had deducted an amount of rupees aprox-7500=00.When I enquired about this amount from the call center they told me that I have canceled my insurance policy after 90 days so that this amount had deducted.
                                    But here I want to tell you that I clearly denied for any insurance policy. Some executives try to convince me and at last they told me that if you are not interested please take an insurance policy for your child.
                                    Then I told yes. But your insurance division had denied because my Childs age is below to 5-years. I dont received over statements for that I made a request to the customer care and received three months statements then I see the premium amount are regularly charged then I again made a complain against these charges they had given a cancellation no.[protected] and assure me that blocked and deducted amount will reveres with in 7 days in my account. Amount is reversed but after deduction of 75% (aprox-7500=00)
                                    Please check your confirmation calls tape I never confirm for policy always denied. For child I confirmed company had denied due to the policy norms. I do not understand why this policy had issue. Please do the needful and reveres above mention amount in my account.

                                    I agree totally towards the complaint made by Sarfraz Ishrat. As I too faced the same situation. A Call centre executive called me as soon as I received my ICICI preferred Credit Card and informed that, she would give an absolutely free Health Insurance Card, for which no amount will be charged. I informed that I being working with HSBC Bank Ltd already hold a health Inusrance card. She persist to take the card as it is absolutely free. I was shocked when I went to check the balance on my credit card online an amount of Rs 1300/- was been deducted. Initially I paid the amout thinking it is normal deduction. However since then every month 1300/- was been deducted. I filed a complained against them asking them to close the account to my shock they said that you need to pay 6,083/- balance amount to close your account.
                                    This is a CLEAR CASE OF CHEATING ON THE CUSTOMER.

                                    I had a credit card vide no. Is [protected] company had charged an amount of rupees aprox-4932=00 and converted into the EMI's.When I enquired about this amount from the call center they told me that there is a policy in my name and they told me that the policy number is 4034/FPS/02310921/00/000 .
                                    But here I want to tell you that I clearly denied for any insurance policy. Some executives try to convince me and at last i denied for the policy. I dont received any policy documents till now. According to the call centre people the policy was started from June 2007. Last month i was looking at my credit card statement and i found that the premium amount are regularly charged then I again made a complain against these charges they had send me a mail saying the policy is under process of cancellation on 25th March 2008 and assure me that blocked and deducted amount will reveres in my account. Amount is reversed but after deduction of 60% (aprox-4932/-) and send me some fake document saying that i had sign the documents. But i never ever sign any policy documents and moreover the signature are not matching with my signature. It's all fraud.
                                    Please check your confirmation calls tape I never confirm for policy always denied. I do not understand why this policy had issue. Please do the needful and reveres above mention amount in my account.

                                    I have bought a CRITICAL CARE- SECURE MIND POLICY from ICICI Lombard (Policy No: 4065/CCSM/01659771/00/000) FOR Rs 1200000 ON 8th August 2008 to 7th August 2011.
                                    Total Premium Assured to me was Rs.16, 600 for duration of 24 Months I submitted 3 EMI OF 12 Emi.
                                    Bank assured me that Rs 1475 would be deducted every month up till 12 months from my credit card (card no: [protected] ), Interest free . After three months again I received a call from ICI Lombard Health Insurance “Sir ICI Lombard launched a very good policy and you take it .At the time I told him I have a ICI lombard Policy the customer care told me no problem we cancelled your old policy and give you a new policy you have no charged any cancellation our cancellation department will call you and you said yes I want to cancellation. I agree with this. I have never called icic cancellation department. After few days I received a new policy # 4034/FPP/04141169/00/000 . I received a call from ICI Lombard Insurance cancellation department automatic are you want to cancellation you policy I said yes I have two policy I want to cancellation our old policy without any cancellation charges.

                                    But when I received my credit card statement I saw I am not received my full amount. At the same time I called ICI Lombard customer care executive she said your policy is cancellation and cancellation charges charged against you. I called up Icici banks customer care executives & send many mails regarding this they did not care about the customer.

                                    I feel like cheated with company and get the feeling that after having policy received they even did not care about the customer,

                                    I want Company to take prompt action in this matter and assured me that they will return me my complete money without any kind of deduction.

Some executives try to convince me and opened lombard policy, then i had cancelled the policy talking with customer care. he said that my policy has cancelled.now after one year they have wathdraw mony from my account. im very frastated about this deduction. this is totaly illegal to keep customer blind, tell lie and deduct mony from account after some year.At the same time i have not used credit card for any reason. and i have not received any information about credit card dues. Please do the needful and reveres above mention amount in my account.

                                    I took a Health policy on the name of my Mother Sulochana Thoodi. Its been for a month and i didnt get any mail or intimation regarding it. I had paid Rs. 2707/- through my cheque.

                                    please concern and kindly intimate about the status of the bond.
                                    Sir, My self is Mr DALBIR SINGH my saving account no[protected] being operating by ICICI Bank. I have been observed that rs 827/- has been deucted for QAB Charges for Juk 09. Last yr the same thing happen. I am not aware why these private bank are doing cheting with customers. Pl let me know, I am always have money into my account. If such thing happened then I think it will be better for me to close the account.

                                      I have done a transaction through my ICICI bank saving account to my friend who held his account in bank of maharastra lucknow.
                                      I had done this transaction on[protected] but till date it has not been credited in to my friends accounts. After a long email conversation held with icici bank, it has only have the excuses to attend the complain but no success to resolve the issue till date.
                                      As per the instruction given by he icicbank, I checked with the receiving bank ( bank of maharastra) regarding the same issue but the same bank not accept the transaction detail as per the Icici bank instructed.

                                      ICICI to BOM - NEFT Issue — NEFT

                                      I have transfered the Amount of Rs.35, 000/- from my ICICI Account towards M/s Uday Constructions whose account is with Bank of Maharashtra - Nigdi Pune branch against which ICICI had given me the RBI ref ID as 82509367. This transaction was done on 24th Nov 2008 but till as of day the money has not been transfered yet. As per ICICI, they have successfully transfered the money to RBI. As per BOM, they have not received anything from RBI. Where should we go now ? Pl help.

                                      Same issue has been happened with myself also on 24th Nov 2008 and it happen with Bank of Maharashtra - Nigdi branch. I had transfered the amount from ICICI to BOM on 24th NOV but till as of day the money has not been transfered via RBI.

                                      Issue was closed finally yesterday when I had escalated this to RBI. Thanks to RBI who help us in this matter.

                                      Somthimes this happens. You will be able to track your payment with the transaction reference number provided by the ICICI bank. You can either write to the banking ombudsman or contact the BoM branch manager for further help.

                                      Normally the once the amount is debitted from your ICICI account, ICICI Bank will not have any say on the transfer. hope this helps.

                                      And last...dont panic. You will get your manoy back. Write to banking ombudsman.

                                      Dear Sir,

                                      I have two saving accounts with ICICI Bank, from last four months i was outside the country and the only way to do the transaction is thru net banking.

                                      i have amount of RS. 500000 available in one of my ICICI account, while in another account i have only 5000. I submitted request for the internet banking pin on 7th november and still waiting for the password.

                                      I have paid more than RS. 5000 in calling icicibank customer care for the new password, but still no resoultion of my problem.

                                      at the same thime they have charged me in another account for not maintaining the avrage quarterly balance of Rs 5000 in last quarter.

                                      due to all this i have paid hefty penalty on my credit cards. Amount of Rs. 500000 locked in ICICI bank account from past 4 months.

                                      Date and bill No: 30/10/2009 BIL/[protected]/0107/[protected]/91994

                                      I have mobile recharge[Rs. 245, on date 30.10.2009] thru internet banking, but i unable to recharge that amount. On time reduce in my account Rs. 245.

                                      The problem is still not yet received the recharge re-fund.

                                      So please reprovide the my amount as soon as possible.

                                        I had a credit card numbered [protected] and a savings account no. XXXXXXXX844 with ICICI Bank, Shivajinagar Branch, Pune. The card had an outstanding of Rs.16493 as of December 2006. The Bank withdrew the sum from my savings bank account without any notice to me. I contacted the bank on their online mailing system regarding the same . They said that I have signed an agreement with them that the money outstanding on my credit card can be recovered from any other relationship that I have with the bank . I asked them a copy of the same agreement which the bank says that they have not saved the copy of the agreement .

                                        In correspondence with the bank the bank has not replied to the following points –
                                        • Can the bank make me sign an agreement which can allow the bank to deduct dues of one account from any other relationship which I have with the bank
                                        • Can the bank deduct any charge from my savings bank account without prior informing me
                                        • Is not the bank liable to furnish the documents ( when asked for in case of dispute)I have signed with them

                                        I have escalated the case to executives in ICICI Bank but to no avail. I have not received any reply from them.
