I visited ICICI branch Srinagar Colony, Hyderabad on 05/05/09 to take 3 DDs
from my A/c. While I was filling the forms my token number came and I could
not see the counter number.
1) I rushed to counter 3 where a woman sat freely. I showed my token number
and requested her to take the DD forms. she rejected and replied that token
was not from her counter. In addition, asked me to go to next counter (4).
She was free for 5 minutes as there were no other customers but she did not
ready to accept my DD forms.
2) I stood in queue at other counter until my turn. Another woman was there.
She told that though I was customer to ICICI bank I have to pay transaction
charges Rs. 84/- for the DDs. I wrote the amount on the DDs and asked her to
take my DD forms. She replied very quietly that my token number was already
called and now she was looking another token so she could not accept the DD
forms. She asked me to go to another counter (9).
3) I was already late to my office. So went in hurry to the counter 9.
Another gentle man sat in that counter and he was talking with his
colleague. He told me to go to counter 4. I said that she herself sent me
here. He looked at my face and looked at forms and asked me why I wrote Rs.
84/- as transaction charges it should be Rs.83/-. I told that the woman in
the counter-4 told me 84/-. He asked from his counter her and she confirmed
that she told me Rs. 84/-. I requested him that I was already late and
accept it. He replied that it was not possible. He asked me to wait and went
to counter- 4 talked with her. Then some other person met him there and he
talked with him too for some time.
I was annoyed too much and stand to leave the bank. He shook his hand
signaling for wait. I replied him "I already wasted 30 minutes in this bank
I have neither the time nor the patience".
I went to Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad branch. There I got the DDs in 10-15
minutes. They told that I need to pay transaction charges for two DDs and
one DD is free.
I experienced the worst service at ICICI branch Srinagar Colony.
I just want to ask ICICI bank,
What does the ICICI bank staff think whether customers are part of their
work or interruption to their work?
To whom would they like to give priority whether to customers or friends in
working hours?
Does not the staff know the transaction charges?
Then who will know?
The worst thing is eventhough I complained about my experience through ICICI net
banking I did not get any response. After all the receiver is also an ICICI
employee. So they don't bother about the customers.

ICICI BANK AT SRINAGAR COLONY HAVE NO RESPECT FOR WOMEN NOR THEY ARE AWARE OF HOW TO TALK TO CUSTOMERS.I was asked to talk to the bank manager regarding my issue and when I went to meet him, there were two men sitting and one of the person had no mimimum courtesy to even make me sit and talk to me.He directly started asking me to pay some charges not even asking me to take a seat.I was standing as though I have come for an interview!!What kind of disciplane this bank manager has and he needs to know how to talk to people when someone approaches him.In the middle of the conversation he got a call on his mobile and starts talking on phone without even having a courtesy that he is talking to me.I am still standing and inspite of telling that should I leave or stay he keeps talking on phone.
I request the higher authority to take strict action to such misbehaviour towards women.
