[Resolved] ICICI Bank Car Loan — Regarding NOC | |
I have taken a loan from ICICI bank i pay my regular installment in time,now i complete my loan in time & now they asking me for extra payment for late payment of installment they are not issue NOC. they have direct debit charge CFO charges without any intimation & they force me to pay compulsory otherwise they are not issue NOC. I am suffering similarly on the issue of NOC or Nodues for my Car loan of Rs One lac by ICICI Bank. Who are asking a late payment charge of Rs 3399/- even after payment of all instalments In MAY2006. Content of letter are given here under:
Dear Mr. Singh,
With reference to your mail, we wish to inform you that there is a overdue amount Rs 3, 399.00 towards your Loan account, LAHDI[protected].
We request you to visit the below mentioned branch to deposit the overdue payment:
Branch Address:
ICICI Bank Ltd., 3/401, TIKONIA CHOWK, NAINITAL ROAD, HALDWANI - 263139.
The Branch Timings are:
Monday to Friday : 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Saturday: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Cash counter : Monday to Friday :10.00 a.m to 5.00 p.m
Saturday : 10.00 a.m to 2:00 p.m.
On receipt of the outstanding due amount, we will be able to register a request for No Objection Certificate of your loan account, LAHDI[protected].
Please check the attachment for Statement of Account of your loan account for your reference.
We request you to follow the mentioned steps to view your Statement:
a) Right click on the attachment, select "Open"
b) You will be prompted to select ' Open the attachment from the current location ' or ' Save it to the disk '
c) Select the option save to the disk
d) Double-click on the attachment.

I am grateful to the ICICI bank and your Customer Service officer, Shardha Arka at customer.[protected]@icicibank.com for prompt reply of my query regarding my car loan account LAHDI[protected]. I, however do not agree with statement attached here and the overdue charges of Rs3399/= as indicated there in. I am sending a scan copy of my Bank pass book to you which clearly indicate when the post dated cheques have been received and actually cleared /paid.
I have already paid over due/ late payment charges of Rs 229/ and cheque bounce charges of Rs221/-while making payment in cash to yours Mohan Singh vide receipt No IL[protected]/dated[protected] Rs5034/- in total(Scan copy attached).
Post dated cheques have not been received in my bank account for payment as per Amortization schedule given and attached herewith therefore last two installments were also paid in cash vide receipt no CL[protected]/ dated[protected] Rs 9028/- as per letter from your Haldwani branch. The personnel from your bank promised that nothing is due now towards you in this case . Therefore over due charges are not due to my mistake but due to non receipt of the post dated cheques in due dates . Which is the mistake of ICICI bank.

Your demand for a over due charges or late payment charges is unjustified in 2010, when all installments have been paid upto MAY2006 and YOU did not write a single word in between long 3 years time . Please give me some other e-mail address as I am unable to send messege and attachment at this address.
