Respected Sir,
I kushal Sakunia from CSA,Marwari Para,Jharsuguda,Orissa had to complain about two person of ICICI bank Mumbai branch for continously abusing my dad on phone.The two person names are MR AKAASH PAWAR and MR VIVEK SHARMA.These two of them are continously abusing my dad on phone from two weeks and threatening us for something.
Actually a year before a person from ICICI Bank sambalpur branch came to my dad and requested him to open an account in his bank,as at that time no icici bank was situated at my place so my dad open a current account but recently a icici bank started at my place and therefore my dad call the same person who opened my dad's account to close it,as he wants to open a new current account at Jharsuguda Branch.But that person takes no action ,after that my dad sent a written letter to the bank to close the account but they neither did that, so now these two person (MR AKAASH PAWAR and MR VIVEK SHARMA) are abusing and threatening my dad to pay the charges.My dad had explain them everything that its not are faults , but they keep on using abusive language.
please help me...please tell me what should i do now.

I am Wasim Sayed, holding an ICICI bank salary account. I am going through a worst case problem where we can highlight what kind of irresponsibility we can expect from ICICI bank. I would request all people not to use ICICI bank accounts.



1 Dec 2008, 04:12 pm: I tried to do an ATM transaction from SBI ATM for Rs 19, 900, there were some connection issues with the bank's ATM, I didn’t receive the amount, instead a slip stating "unable to process" click here - http://www.hisaan.com/worst_customer_service/ICICI_SBI_ERROR_ATM_SLIP.jpg

Somebody could have put a board at the ATM Machine with a warning that there is a network issue????



1 Dec 2008, 04:24 pm: I received a message on my cell phone stating “Your Ac XXXXXX537022 is debited INR 19, 900.00 on 01 Dec. Info: NFS*CASH WDL*01-12-08*16:14:05. Total Avbl. Bal is INR 1, 890.00”

Look once again at the available balance and tell me how can I spend 8 days in 1, 890 Rs????



1 Dec 2008, 04:26 pm: I called ICICI customer service at[protected], I should rather say NON-CUSTOMER SERVICE, spoke with an agent he offered me to wait for 8 working days, I asked for an escalation and spoke with his supervisor “Mr. Cheeranjiv” even he said the same thing and promised a refund in the said time frame.

What is the reason ICICI spends money on such people????



1 Dec 2008, 04:55 pm: Mr. Cheeranjiv called me from[protected] and asked me to send an email with the scanned copy of the transaction slips to yashashree.[protected]@icicibank.com with the subject “KIND ATTNN : Mr. Cheeranjiv and Mr. Jagdish”.

What if I didn’t have had the money left to scan and even send an email????

2 Dec 2008, 10:00 am: I went to my bank branch in mindspace malad, to learn that the branch manager wasn’t present and spoke with Ms Sheetal Agarwal the Branch Operations Manager, the way she dealt with me I can understand that she wasn’t even worth being appointed as a Housekeeping staff, when I informed her she just kept on saying that ICICI is not at fault like an IVR. When I told her that I would not have any other option then taking the case legally or reporting to press so that all come to know about the real face of ICICI, she had to say that ICICI really didn’t bother a bit and I can do whatever I can.

Obviously if the senior officials display such careless attitude and respect for their customer, what can we expect from ICICI, which can spend on big faces like AMITACH BACHCHAN to become the face of ICICI and try to extract the money from innocent customers by charging them incorrectly and then giving huge salaries to such people?



3 Dec 2008, 08:58 pm: Mr. Jagdish called from[protected] and informed that he has received the request and he is going to look into the case, he will get in touch with SBI and revert by tomorrow i.e. 4dec.

It took 2 days, 2 hrs for this great person to call me and convince me with some more bluff, wasn’t that really quick???? HATS OFF TO ICICI.





6 Dec 2008, 01:03 pm: No response, no callbacks, nobody interested in helping. Had it been the other, you owe some money to ICICI they will call you at least 30 times a day non-stop, but here they didn’t even bother to call me once in 3 days. I called ICICI customer service at[protected] and spoke with an agent and then with his supervisor “Mr. Subash” he informed me about all the same points that were almost rote by me. When I was informing him that I had sent an email and also I had received a call from Mr. Jagdish (he was unaware), and then I asked to speak to Mr. Jagdish immediately and he transferred me to him. Mr. Jagdish, as if reading from a script began saying that it is not a fault of ICICI and that I had dealt with a non-ICICI ATM. I will have to wait.

Mr. Jagdish, where were you from past 3 days, let me remind you, you were about to call me on 4th Dec 2008.





Let me ask a few questions to you.



1) Who will compensate the losses that I incurred due to the delay in payment?

2) Whom should I catch responsible for the error SBI or ICICI (for encouraging non-ICICI ATM transactions and then refusing to help their own customers)?

3) Why should I invest my money (phone calls, emails, scanning….etc), should it be borne by the customer or the bank?

4) I think this is probably the reason, why ICICI’s customer base is reducing, and add one more to it. I pray I am never going to have a relation with ICICI. Is this what we save our money in bank for?

Iam Sivanantham, I would like to know SWIFT CODE OF ICICI BANK, 1-INTERNATIONAL BANK DIVISION, ICICI TOWERS BANDRA KURLA COMPLEX, MUMBAI 400051. BECAUSE MANY TRANSFER PURPOSE.
I have never applied for an ICICI card but still I have received a couple of SMS stating that the card has written back due to Address issues and another SMS stating it is blocked. I tried calling the Customer Care, there is no option of talking to a Customer Executive, it was really painful that such huge organizations do not understand the Customer's base. The SMS is also not clear and it does not have a Transaction or a Reference No. It starts with SR[protected]. I donno may this is the number which is not clearly stated ..

    i krishan kumar opened account at your bank but i received atm but not working properly in atm machine i complaint to bank manager fazilka punjab he told me that atm not ok please again applied and i applied 7 days before but yet not received. please verify and tell me on mobile no 91-[protected]

    Hi!

    I am working with American Express. i have my corporate account with ICICI. I wish I could change it to any other bank. My wallet was stolen, my pan card, ICICI, HDFC debit cards and my HDFC credit card were stolen.

    I went to my nearest ICICI branch at B2 Janak puri, New Delhi and i was given a treatment like i am a deep . I hate ICICI since that day.

    I had no source to withdraw money, my bills were on my head and i did not know what to do. I went to ICICI branch and told them the situaion i was in. they just took me as another customer and sadi that they can do nothing. this was a heartbreak.. and i hate ICICI. I asked for a Insta Card so that i can withdraw money from ATM. I was told that they dont have a stock. this is an extremely worst example of customer service.. may be ICICI needs to think a lot about people before recruiting them.

    I know what customer service is, cause I'm working with American Express, which is no 1 in customer service.

    plz ICICI act and rectify your errors...

      hi sir/madam,
      i Chandan Singh. holds credit card of icici bank for last two week. my card no is [protected] and my mother name is Mrs. Parwati Negi,address-H-52,JAI VIHAR,INFRONT OF AIR FORCE (BANI)CAMP,NANGLOI ROAD NAJAFGARH 110043.total transaction is 2265which i have made dated 11/12/07.sir i have got three sms from icici bank dated 14/12/07.which is showing 52700 transaction from credit card no-xxxx2008.i have applied only one credit card in icici bank. which i have received last week. I have not received credit card which no-xxxx2008.according icici bank customer care receiving date is 13/12/07 not clear.i have got a call at 9:32am dated 11/12/07.the person was saying that he is calling from courier company and i would deliver this icici document by today.but i have not got.sir i have talked to icici bank customer care four times and visited icici bank credit card deppt at Jhandewalan (Vediocon tower) 9 no counter also but did not get satisfy answer.sir bank employee (lady) misbehaving also.sir without my permission the bank issue me second card which no is-xxxx2008 and generate pin too.sir what should i do. who is responsible for this.

      I am having credit card of ICICI bank and suddenly one day i get a message that particular amount is due. When contacted help desk said it is pending for about about 6 months before and now only we have recieved cheque returned from the bank.
      I requested to send me the returned cheque.
      But cheque did not come to me and bill is sent.

      Third Step : As soon as I processed to continue It declined and failed to book the tickets.
      Tickets were failed to be booked but the amount was credited from the card.

        Dear Sir,

        I want to inform you that I received a Credit Card from ICICI bank without any notice and Signature, any Form Fill. When i received the card I was really shocked that how this kind of reputed organisation can do such type of task but when i contacts with their customer care they didn't provide any reasonable response.

        Secondly a loan amount of Rs.10,000/- is also sanctioned without any application, discussion. When i received the cheque I didn't cash the same but the installment of the Loan is also debited in my credit card statement.

        Further, the collection agency of the said bank is disturbing me 5-10 times in a day.

        You are therefore requested to please look into the matter otherwise i will go to consumer court.

        this is for your kind information please.

          Sir,
          I hold a credit card of ICICI of the above no. i.e. [protected]. My credit card bill for the period 19.05.2007 to 18.06.200 amounted to Rs. 13,800. I deposited a cheque No. 484966 dated 4.07.2007 of State Bank Of India, Vadodara Branch amounting to Rs. 13800 in the collection box. This cheque was misplaced by ICICI. They then asked for the amount for which I issued another cheque of Allahabad Bank, Rajmahal Road, Vadodara dated 18.07.2007 amounting to Rs. 13800.00 which was collected personally.
          The proof of all this is as follows:
          In the bill for the period 19.06.2007 to 18.07.2007 I was levied late fee amounting to Rs. 337.08 , which was reversed after a lot of discussion with the phone banking officer on 8.08.2007 in the bill for the period 19.07.2007 to 18.08.2007 .
          Now the ICICI bank has traced that cheque and deposited the same in my credit card account on 4.10.2007 without informing me. When again I talked to the phone banking officer Mr. Chitanya he refused to note down my complaint on 7.10.2007 for refund of this money to me. He then narrates to me that the cheque was dated 4th October hence it was credited on 4th October.
          Is it right on your part to debit this amount twice from my account without informing me? If it is not I once again appeal to you to refund this money in my saving bank account held with the Landmark building, Vadodra immediately. The account no. of this is[protected] and immediately inform me.

          You have not understood my representation/complaint I presume, and hence I give once again the opportunity to rectify your mistake or else the matter will be taken up with higher authority. First the outstanding balance as on 4th October 2007 was 29,271.00 and not Rs. 20008.83 as you mentioned for which I am supposed to pay by October 10,2007 for which I have already deposited a cheque of Rs.29,271.00 yesterday with your bank. So your Information system is hopelessly poor for which I can only feel pity.
          Next don’t cover up your past mistake with such poor logic. You are given once more opportunity, to refund the money or else the matter will be taken up with the higher authorities.

          After that till date I did not receive my settlement letter,therefore I again discussed with Mr.Shivshankar (Asst Manager-Collection for Noida Region),Mr.Prashana Dass (Manger Collection for Noida Region) and also I discussed with Mr.Sushil Sony ( Manager Collection for Noida Region).I confirmed them that without having the settlement letter I am not going to pay anything against my credit card no.[protected].Also I have sent SMS to them for confirmation of delivery of settlement letter.Still I did not get any reply from them.So I request you can you please send me the e-mail ID of above executives along with the HO office contact number with e-mail ID.

          I have gone through all the complaints and grivances against ICICI bank and i am really sad to comment that all the allegations against the bank seems to be true. I would like to mention that i have been a customer with this bank for the past 3 years and had a salary account which is no longer in use & a credit card which i stopped using and was planning on payments once it was fisible for me(overlimit fees and late fees were added over the period which is too high). i had to go through a trauma when i was in real financial crisis and one of my friends deposited some odd 25000 Rs in my account for a temp period to help me out and to my shock all the money in my account went missing. When i called up my saving acc/ customer care, they seemed to be totally relaxed and told me to contact the credit card department. when the question was put forward as to why an unauthorized transaction was allowed in my account, they blankly told its the credit card department who is resposible and will not be able to provide any real help. it seemed to me like banking with this bank doesnt ensure you any security and once the money is gone you cant expect any help, not to mention the amount of money i wasted while making STD calls to different departments of the bank. when i called up the credit card dept. they gave me all sort of explanations but even a single one didnt justify why they barged into my bank account without intimating me. I also spoke to a collection exec. who instead of helping me started to question my conscience which was though logical yet was not expected from a service provider. they kept on hitting around the bush and was totally reluctant to return the money even when i promised to pay whatever left balance on my credit card. If this the No. 1 bank in India, i am sorry to say that we the customers are not clear with the concept of what safe banking is and would like to humbly appeal to the human rights division to amend and upgrade the banking policies and rights rendered to the banks and their operations. I had problems earlier also when a replacement card took 2 months to reach me. There is no synchronization among the various departments of the banks, the records are not adequate and customers doesnt have a toll free number to call. Practically no one would like to spend hundreds of rupees on a call to discuss the problems and bank seems to be at total peace. I would like to inform that i will never ever bank or do business with such an unethical institution and will not make any payments further. I shall also contact a legal advisor for the mentioned issue.

          ICICI bank is a sort of a group of people sitting there to make us fool. Their customer care is worst in its class. These days the have suspended my account due to non-submission of some document which were loosed by this highly secured bank during Mumbai flood.           after refusing the proposal of my mobile bill payment through ICICI bank credit card, i found that bank had made the payment and at the same time i also had made the payment to Vodafone.           I did apply for two policies vide LL13337720 & LL13337721 on 11 Jan 08 and got my medical done at your authorised medical centres for insurence. However later on I was informed that ICICI does not want to give me insurance cover with out intimating any reason. This did create LOT OF TENSION in my mind.           I applied for ICICI credit card last year. but it never come to me.
          They try to send it to my place but i was not available that time.
          I also apliend for ICIC lombard policy along with this.

          Now i am geeting bill for CARD payment with late fees.

Suddenly they have decided to transfer all the Credit Card points to i-mint and all users have to buy i-mint card for Rs.200/- Imagine atleast 20 Lac ICICI Card Holders * 200 per head is 400 crores profit without doing anything.           I m ausing this card since last year. Credit limit is only 13000/- . I have givin too many request to in crease the crdit limit with my salary slip as an proff but not increased yet. My use is near abt 15000/- per month. After taking the proof they didnt increase limit but never told me that why not increasing the limit. I was thinking that after taking the proof limit has increased. Thats why in next swap they put some over limit charges. After that i had discussion then Cust Care Exec told me to pay 900/- in cash and 9900/- by cheque so that all dispute can be resolved.

          I did the same even though i paid 100/- more. But when i was in abrod in next month then again some intrest charges, service tax charges, over limit changes etc were there. I called from there but Caust Care Exe told me that you have to pay. I denied to pay so i want to know why this hassasment of customer is going on. that amount in conineously incresing and today i have cancelled the card as well. But i dont want to pay those extra charges.

          I have already paid the amount by which i have done the shopping.
          So please tell me how i can complaint againt bank and also can fire a case or complaint in RBI.

          So that necessary action can be taken on this.

          yesterday i found my salary account along with my salary amount is blocked and when i asked for the reason to B.T.M bank employee's, they are asking whether you have any loan or not? that shows my account is accessed by other services also without my information.i have a loan from past two years and never missed one EMI and still they have done this.i repeatedly call and ask for reason but, no one replies... should i stop paying loan remaining EMI's to them and change my salary account also?

          I agree with all the complaints against ICICI,
          1) One simple idea I will suggest is : NEVER take a Credit Card/Loan/Mortgage from the bank where you hold a Savings A/C.
          Reason: The Credit card company will not be able to take money from your A/c wituout your concent. your money in Savings A/c is safe if you disagree spendings on your Creidt Card.
          2) Keep multiple cards with less credit limits
          Reason: The person who tries to use your card will have to make many small purchases.
          3) Keep your card seperate
          4) Lodge a complaint in the Consumer Court against the Credit Card company for un-authorised access to your bank account.
          5) Get the the media involved, you will hit the Credit Card company where it hurts.
          -- Its sad there is no control over these Credit Card companies (RBI is Sleeping, there is no Regulatory Authority over these Banks)
          (I understand the above suggestion have some disadvantages, but its better to Safe than Sorry )

          ICICI Bank — un-authorised access to your bank account

          Dear Sir / Madam,

          I ‘m Hema Singh holding an saving account as well as credit card holder of ICICI bank, I have my balance of 63, 323 RS in credit card I usually pay my credit card bill through IVR option i.e., I transfer my amount through saving account to credit card (reason: I work night shifts). As usual I have called up customer care today as on 5th June 2008 to pay my credit card amount but I came to know that I hold negative balance in my saving account i.e., -46, 000 figure this is because of credit card department such as I have not given any authorization to figure out my saving account. And I have not received any information from ICICI that my card is blocked permanently and temporary block of my saving account. With out any further notice how credit card respective can take this strong decision or action on my saving account without knowing to my knowledge.

          I have loaded the complain in regards to this several times to customer care with the credit card dept and also I spoke with the in charge of my case as well as collection dept I have promised to repay them back with in 3 - 4 months but still there are no action taken for this.

          If my salary account is blocked how I can repay them back ICICI credit card dept has to think about this, please some one helps me on this I belong to middle class category and my month as well as house runs with my salary .

          Dear sir,
          I have dropped a ICICI check no. 513687 for rs. 1675 in ICICI drop box for the payment of May 2008. But they bounced my check on 7th june 2008. The bank did not informed me nor sent me any communication regarding the cheque bounce even after 1 months of occurance.
          The bank did not provide me the proof of documents i.e CHEQUE RETURN MEMO & ORIGINAL PAY ORDER even after following up for the same.
          The bank has levied heavy charges for CHEQUE BOUNCES FOR 2 MONTHS, PENALTY CHARGE, LATE PAYMENTS CHARGES AND INTEREST CHARGES.

          Still they do not return check to me.

          So, this is my case and facing problems to get solved. Please guide me in this regard and help me to get solved out of these problems.

          Credit Card — access amount added on bill

          I am jagannath Panda a credit card holder from Axis bank.
          I have been added Rs 10, 000/- extra in my credit card bill and more over Rs 5000/- abs interest has ben charged.

          I have already paid Rs 12000 /- in my account and presently it has been desabled.
          Though tried to clear this issue with Local Axis bank people i did not get the resolution.
          If iam not getting my clear bill this time I will sue against
          AXIS BANK and also will charge compensation for the harasement I am getting from Bank People.

          ICICI Banking Services is a Joke. Their customer service is the worst i have come across in recent times. The IVR takes you in circles and finally if you manage to find the combination of keys that lets you speak to a customer care rep, It takes minimum of 10-15 mins hold time and then you will be mostly informed that the servers at their end are down and you are requested to try after an hour. After an hour its the same story and the only thing that changes is next you need to try after two hrs.

          There online banking portal is poorely designed and down 70% of the time. The entire experinece is totally frustrating. Stay away from this bank.

          ICICI Bank — unauthorized withdrawal of amount by Lombard.

          ICICI Bank — unknown increment in the minimum a/c balance charges

          This is AJAY KUMAR SHARMA, saving a/c no.[protected].On 8-10-08 my a/c balance was Rs.5325/-On behalf of this i depostied a cheque of Rs.5100/- for my child's school fees, BHARTI PUBLIC SCHOOL.This was presented on my a/c on 25-10-08 against which charges of Rs.393 were done.But this cheque was returned!
          This all happened because of the UNKNOWN INFORMATION of your bank's policy according to which the minimum a/c balance must be Rs.10, 000/- instead of Rs.5, 000/-.Now, because of this your bank debited Rs.843/- as july's quater balance charges from my a/c.I also deposited cash of Rs.5, 000/- in my a/c on 25-10-08.Therefore according to previous policy of yours my a/c must have enough balance so that my cheque can be cleared.So, i want you to REVERSE the quarter bal. charges of Rs.843/- and Rs.393, cheque retuen charges.also accept my cheque of Rs.5100/- because according to me the balance was correct.

          I Sudeep Kumar Kapukar have a salary acount with ICICI Bank have lot of problems with this account.

          The problem was on[protected] at 8:28am my account was debited for Rs.14, 900 I don't have any credit card or online account(I don't use any online transactions). I have already placed a complaint to ICICI Bank Customer service and a writem complaint to Jublee hills ICICI Bank manager regarding this issue.I was also given a reference number SR94069228.

          I have no Idea what is going on...

          Please, do some thing. I am worried Rs.14, 900 is a lot for me.
          When ever I call the customer service it takes a lot of time to connect to the representative and almost Rs 25-35 will be deducted from the cell. I called for 7 times and the same result.

          And the customer service says it takes 3-6 months for the enquiry.

          Hi,

          I have account in ICICI bank. I tried to deposit money in Kazhakootam branch (Near Technopark, Trivandrum) at 5.17 PM. The person who was sitting in counter told that it’s not possible to deposit money after 5:00 PM. But at the entrance it’s written that bank transaction timings are 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

          When I visited your bank on Friday I learned from the notice board (entrance) that transaction timings is till 6:00 PM.

          When I checked it with branch Manager he said (This is our timings we cannot do anthing after 5:00 PM and I cannot come to your house and inform the change in time etc..)

          It’s very unfortunate and I never expected it from a Manager from ICICI bank. Since 2004 I have been the customer of ICICI bank and hearing this comment from the Branch Manager is not help to retain your customers. I am also working in a professional organisaton. If anybody ask about your bank I am sorry to say…I cannot recommend a deal with ICICI bank.
          I have an account in sanjay place branch (Agra) in the name of Saurabh gupta. A/c no[protected]. I have issued a cheque to LIC on 06-02-09 cheque no- 972422 amount- Rs 2574 which was presented in my account on 07-02-09. I just check my account status at home at 10 o’ Clock in morning on 07-02-09. It shows a minus balance of Rs2574. I immediately called to phone banking officers because usually cheque comes after 12 o’ clock so he told me that there was no problem and you can deposit before 12 o’ clock and your cheque will be passed. I immediately called my father and he deposited Rs 1500 through cash packet at 10:25 a.m in sanjay place branch and the concerning cashier promised that this amount would be credited within half an hour. At that time my account balance was Rs622. I checked again at 11:25 a.m and found that the money was not credited yet. I rushed to another branch at sultanganj (agra) and deposited Rs 1800 and conveyed to the concerning cashier to immediately credit the account so that my cheque would be honoured. I again checked my account through ATM and found that the entry of Rs 1500 not credited and my account balance was Rs 2423 which was less than cheque amount by 150 rs. Then I deposited Rs 900 to make sufficient balance for the cheque and I asked the same person for my cheque and she told me that not worry your cheque has not yet presented in account and there is sufficient balance to honour the cheque. Simultaneously Rs 3000 was also deposited in my account at Nagpur branch. In this whole process there was more than sufficient amount to honour the said cheque unfortunately when I checked my account at 2 pm. I found that my cheque was dishonoured showing the reason “insufficient funds” and saw also that the first entry of Rs 1500 was not credited yet. We visited both the branch but on that very day the branches timing changed and the timing was 2 pm for closing of business hour. At sanjay place branch I met with MR Dhruv who was standing outside the bank premises and I told him the whole story he took pain and noted down my check number and he admitted the mistake of banking part and with his effort the amount Rs 1500 was credited at 2:35 pm after four hors of deposit !! He promised to look after the matter and said to me to visit the bank on Monday morning.
          On Monday morning I visited the branch at 10: am. Mr Dhruv introduced me with a bank staff but he bluntly refused to listen me and mis-behave and manhandled me by saying these words (do whatever you want and go wherever you can) and my modus operandi is this. I can’t do and I won’t do. Do whatever you do.

          I have given back my card without using the same, the official at the bank {Vile Parle East Branch. (Hanuman Road ) } acknowledged receipt of the card, He then bent it and deosited the samd in what I believe a waste paper basket.
          How do I know the cardwill not be msused ?

          I had made a credit card bill payment from my ICICI bank saving bank account using account ot card transfer service. The amount has been debited from my saving account but the same is not refelcting in my credit card account.           My salary account is with ICICI Bank Secunderabad Branch. From last 3 years my salary is being credited in this account.But this month ICICI Bank has bolcked the 25000 Rs of my salary and they are not paying this money to me. They are saying that I have balance pending in my credit card but I dont have any credit card that they claim I own. They have never called me up neither they informed me that any kind of payment is pending with me. Without informing me they are harassing me by not paying my amount.
          Please guide me what to do. I have raised request to ICICI Bank but they are not replying. Please help me out.

          This is Ajay my ICICI loan Account Number is[protected], 0006) at the time of approving this loan I was told by ICICI head office Mumbai my every month EMI will be Rs. 9183 per month reducing. but now every month they are sending me the EMI more then 10000 every month called up to customer care for same they peple are saying these are the late fee charges, At the time of taking this loan I was told My due date will be 28th of every month, but I am getting through the bill due date is 16 or 17th every month .

          So My humble request to you is please tell them to send my ectual EMI as I was told Rs. 9183 /per month reducing. you are the one who can help me now I am a genune person who is paying the EMI every month..

          ICICI Bank Credit Card — Unauthorize debit from my ICICI bank saving account

          Sir,
          I have been holding a ICICI Bank saving account from past 3 years and in the year 2006 one of their representative approached me outside Big Bazar stating that “if you are holding a ICICI bank saving account we can help you to get a ICICI credit card without any documentation” for which I agreed and signed the application form. After a Month I received my card with just a credit limt of 5000 for which I disagreed and had place several request with the customer care to close down my account on SOS basis.. but no action was taken…

          Thereafter one month I had to make some emergency purchase for which I had to use my ICICI credit card and there after I just forgot to make the payment for the same as I was transferred to Gujarat for 1 year…

          Last month while I was on my official visit to Kanpur and I was surprise to know that a sum of 15, 500 was debited from my account for which I enquired with the ICICI customer care I have been informed that my account have blocked by the credit card department because of non payment.

          How can ICICI bank block or debit any amount from my account with our my knowledge?
          I would be obliged if you can please let me know as to how can I bet my money back and for this reason can i approach the consumer council ..

          Please be careful on dealing with private banks. all companies, CFO, accountant get comission and loan from the bank and they asked to create the account in those banks. but we customer suffer lot. we should safe our money and out things. Even we are educated but careless on reading terms and conditions. I lost lot of money in ICICI bank for charging me. The rules are not support customer until you argue. Goverment should take action to save peoples money. RBI can warn the bank but we cannot get money back.

          when i create new account in ICICI Bank terms and conditions are followed for one year. Zero amount maintian and no charge for yearly. but after one year without my Knowledge all terms and conditions for my account is changed. they have our money they debit for them.

          i was not setisified with icici bank services at all, regarding the same i written an application requesting to close my every thing with Bank relation. {current acount/ saving account/ cridit card} where i send the cut pices of all the cards & the blance blank cheque book. but the staff of ICICI bank refuse to except the application. is there any nomes in icici bank that they will not accept any application. what to do or where i should courior all the thing so that they close all my account.

          I am holding an ICICI credit card -‘[protected]’ having outstanding amount of Rs. 27817.00 during Jan 18th 2009 to Feb 18th 2009 statement. With out my knowledge, ICICI bank converted to 24 months EMI (2.5%/month) and start debiting regularly form 18/02/2009. Very next month on 3rd March 2009, I had cleared the full amount of Rs. 27794/- done a balance transfer. I had paid complete amount and every month they are debiting EMI. I never opted for EMI & without acceptance from the cardholder; bank can’t convert credit card outstanding balance into EMI. The amount what I had paid still kept aside as a fund and every month EMI deducting from that fund. When I spoke to the customer care first time, a gentleman told me that ‘you might have done internet transaction’ then I had explained to him, then call was transferred to manager-customer care, he mentioned that they dispatched the letter (EMI Schedule letter) to my office on 4th March 2009 and they have proof of office stamp of delivering of the letter. After 30 minutes another Customer care executive told me that they have sent ‘EMI schedule letter’ but no body received in the office. March 4th is Wednesday and my office is very much open. It clearly indicates you convert EMI on your own and then intimate customers. Because EMI conversion is done on 18/02/2009, but letter was sent on March 4th what a strategy! I am very much aware of ICICI’s banks outdated credit card schemes, that’s the reason I never opted for EMI conversion. How can you convert without intimation and acceptance from me? I am totally unhappy with ICICI bank for this entire trick to make patrons fool. It is very clear indication of slyness strategy during recession, already I have sent two mails and there is no response. Sort out this issue immediately.

          I am Mr. Sushant Muni, a resident of Kalyan, had used the ICICI Bank credit card No. [protected] and had made the settlement towards the same with Ref No. : Ref/155/03/08/07/Z. last year.

          My Name is Deepak and I have opened a SB account in ICICI Bank, Nabha-Patiala (Punjab) branch in July. From Day One i have to face many problems with ICICI as I have many expection from them as they are charging more from their customer. But my all the expection are gone when i place a request for chequebook on phone. They have commited me to provide my cheque book within 7 Days. On 10th Day i called customer care and enquired about my cheque book then they told me that your cheque book is returned due to incomplete address. Then I told them to update my account on phone, Then They told me that you can not update your address before 6 months and told me to give the application to Bank for updating the addresse. As I am a working in a company so my father went to bank for updation of address and update my address. Then again i place a request on that Day (12th day) and again they have commited me to provide my cheque book within 7 Days and on 8th day (20th day) i called customer care to enquire my cheque book and they gave me a Document No. of first flight. When check the status on internet there is written "out of delivery". When i confirm from the first flight Nabha branch and he confirm me that my courier has sent back as address in not complete. On Next Day (21st day) i got a call from courier patiala branch and they have told me to provide the full address. I have given him the full address. He said "Ok" to me. But in the evening I got a call and the courier guy told me that he will handover the cheque book on my Nabha Branch . Then I Called Customer Care about the same then they told me that me or my relative will go to collect the cheque book with my ID proof. Then on Next Day (22nd day) my father went to back and told them to handover the cheque book. But they told them to provide a written letter for the same. Then I called them a discuss the matter. They told me that they will not change update my address and House number is not mention in Proof, they will only handover the cheque book to father along of authority letter. No Fax/Mail is accepted. I was very frustrated as on 22nd day I am not able to get cheque. Then I called Customer Care again and discuss the matter and ask them to provide their area manager number. But neither have they provided me the customer care nor the solution (without going me to Branch). So by getting this type of response I have told them to close my account and ask the formality. Then CC executive told for that I have to come to branch and do the formalities and as I am going to close the account within a year then I have to bear Rs500/- as service charge. It Means for closing my account I have to take one leave+ Rs500/- + my Travel Expense. It costs me 1500/-. I am very surprised that while opening an account I have not visit the bank. The executive itself come to me and do all the formalities. It means it is clear trapping strategy of Bank. Kindly Guide me.

          I am customer of ICICI Bank Credit card no.[protected]. I am not using this card form the last one year due to interest & late payment charges levied on my credit card which were not justified. after which i stopped using my card. i have not received any statement for the same as i was not using the card i thought no statement is generated as i was not using the card. i always clear my outstanding amount but still interest charges & late payment charges were levied on me and now amount of Rs.43,000/- is charged on me which i cannot pay. i belong to a middle class family and this amount is not in my capability to pay as i have not made any purchases from the same. On 10/10/09, I got phone from your office & I confirmed that on 12/10/09 I will pay the money along with bouncing cheques. And on the due date your representative has collected the money from my office vide receipt no. T0909 L 3378710 dated 12/10/09 total amount 3216 (Three thousand Two Hundred & sixteen only) this amount is included bouncing cheques of Rs. 225/- also.

          But I am very regret to know in my statement of A/c on 22/10/09 that on 10/10/09 you have also debited Rs. 763.65 to my A/c without my information & this was not deducted from my EMI amount collected your representative on 12/10/09.           ICICI Bank — Unauthorised access to my saving account with out intimation by ICICI Credit Card department inspite of already settled credit card

          In my saving account number[protected] available balance was Rs.5573.16 on 11/11/2009. While making a online transaction on 18/11/2009 i got insufficient fund message with Rs.1423.74 in debit.On enquiring from customer care i came to know that Rs.6996.90 has been debited from my account without intimation by ICICI credit card department against credit card number [protected].This credit card was already settled by making a cash payment of Rs.8500 on 28/02/2009 and i received letter of confirmation of settlement reference number ICNO1DEL/032009/3079/1 on 05/03/2009 by email. When credit card is already settled how can credit card department debit amount from my saving account which was never connected to credit card and there was no auto debit facility activated.I am left cash less on 18/11/2009 and i am a salaried professional with no other account available to meet my expenses.
          I am attaching letter for credit card settlement above said with this letter.I want compensation of Rs50,000 from ICICI bank for its incompetency and making me stranded without any cash available.I had to go to get my MRI done today for physical problem i am suffering and now i am on ICICI bank's mercy to get their ends in proper to enable me to get my money back to me.

              ICICI Bank - Personal Loan — ICICI cheating

              Dear friends , let me tell about icici bank cheating. I anilkumar applied for personal loan to icici bank on september 2007. After all processing procedure they (icici) called me to their branch with four cheques. On 26th september 2007 i went to meet them . There they checked all the original documents and said the loan amount is rs.50,000/- and tha rate of interest is 2.1% per month . Of course i am in need of money so i agreed to that and signed where they asked . And they took 4 cheques from me. After that they said the loan amount cheque will me mailed to my address. So i came back. They said conformly the loan cheque will come to you with in four working days . After that i had made some commitments to pay the amount to some people with in five days. But i did not received any cheque from icici , so i asked the bank agent , he said "sorry for delay sir surely you will receive cheque ."but all the people that i already committed to pay are forcing me to pay back. That time i felt mental torchur because of icici bank. A vendor and i was falling short on my commitment. All it was happend before more than one month back. They (icici) did not givien loan but they are recovering money from my account..

              I am going to complain instead of giving my opinion.
              As I applied through loan at a click, I got a referrence number 59401002 and I took a print out of pre approved loan : loan amount was 100000 and tenure emi all mentioned.
              When I was called by the executives they told they will come and collect documents, nobody turned up.
              At last, when I contacted one icici branch, I was told I need either a landline or a postpaid mobile bill copy as my address proof, and it is mandatory.
              If you know that this (landline/postpaid mobile bill) is mandatory why don't you put in the required documents list ?
              Why just for the log -in application count consuming customer's time ?
              Anyway I am totally disappointed by the way of functioning of the banks in providing the PL.
              Myself Rajlaxmi Naidu, I have applied for a personal loan on 26th of March through their executive named Mr. Karthick [protected]. This guy came rushingly to me stating that he will get me the loan approved and the amount will be credited by 31st of May because of month ending. He was in so rush that he said he will put all the documents, as my bank statement was very good. He even took the security 8 blank chequest. Ater that for 4-5 days his mobile was switched off. Then i called the customer care but I do not think that any qualified person is sitting there to sort our the queries. They straight away told me that my case is approved on the 4th and soon the amount will be credited in you account. So days passed away from 4th to 9th. But today when I called the customer care there was a new response that my loan is approved today itself, whereas I have a recorded telephone form the call centre of chennai that I receied on 5th that my case is approved and soon the amount will be credited in my bank account. Today a blunder happened when I called the customer care they are telling that my case is approved just today hence I will have to wait for 4-5 more working days for the case to be transferred to disbursement departent.

              So what is the moral of the story whey these guys put advertisement that you can avail loan in 24 hours than what about the 15 days that I have been mentally tortured everday.

              I have all the complain numbers, request numbers, and my call details. My telephone bill for this particular case is Rs. 500/- at present.

              what my opinion is if they have to provide the loan then why so much delay. They should tell frankly whether it is declined or approved, why are they hiding their face and making troubles of others.

              There is one thinks I would say if there is any default in payment they are goonda people to recover the loan. Then why should we not have some forum to check these things. Why do they give dream. We are not going to beg to their offices for loans they only come to our house like beggars stating madam please take loan.

              ONE SUGGESTION FOR ICICI IF THEY ARE NOT ABLE TO HANDLE THE LARGE NUMBER OF CUSTOMERS THEY WHY THEY DO NOT SHRINK A LITTLE BIT.

              I recently had applied for the personnel loan for sum of 150000 as per the sales agent had said to me he would be providing the loan @ 13.5% reducing and processing fees of 500 but cheated me when i approached his office he had submitted the papers @ 14.5% reducing and over 2500Rs as processing fees.Agent name is shashank gelani and his senior Manish jha and amit singh, so i request any one who is taking loan from them to be aware of these cheaters.
              i too took a loan from Manish Jha, Shashank gelani of ICICIBank of Rs. 1, 000, 000. They promised me loan at the rate of 14.25 but I was horrified to come to know later that I was being charged a rate of 16%.

              ICICI Bank — Lying to customers

              The last sentence summarises the complaint.

              I had been to the Kalina branch of ICICI bank in Mumbai, to request for the stoppage of my internet banking account. The person at the helpdesk told me to do it through phone banking and the person at phone banking told me to contact the person at the branch. I went back to the helpdesk where they told me to type my password wrong a few times which would cause my account to get blocked.
              I insisted that I wanted my internet banking account to be removed completely rather than just get blocked.
              They did not know how to do this, so they told me to wait for a while. Five minutes later they called me to the desk and told me to give them my customer id. I did, and they entered it in their computer and said that my internet banking account is deleted. They also gave me a printer sheet which had something printed on it, scratched off the printed matter with a pen and told me to write a letter requesting for closure of the internet banking account, on the other side of the paper. I did so.

              When I tried to access my internet banking account two days later, I saw that it was still existent, in a disabled state. They had lied to me that the account was removed. The letter which I wrote has probably ended up in a trash bin.
              Besides, how could an ordinary helpdesk employee have the powers to remove an internet banking account by just typing the customer id?

                I have an outstanding towards the my credit card([protected]) of Rs.40086.28. I am paying monthly amount of Rs.2000 but instead of the outstanding amount to be decreased its increasing. and as per the statement the Bank has started and auto debit facility without informing me.

                Currently I am going through a financial problems please help by transferring the current outstanding amount in EMI's. I can pay the monthly amount of Rs.3000 or make an auto debit facility of Rs.3000 from my account on 1st of every month.

                  Hello Everypone,
                  I am an ICICI home loan customer. I went for the loan during 2005 at 8.25% of floating rate of interest. Then ICICI did increase the % of both fixed and floating interest rates and today ICICI charges me 11.75%.

                  Last week i went to ICICI Bank home loan dept as a new customer and they offered me a new loan for 10.5% in floating rate of interest.

                  Now, when asked to the area manager she informed i will have to pay switch fee to avail the lower interest rates within floating which is against the agreement we signed. I can understand the switch free is applicable between fixed and floating but not within floating rate of interests.

                  I have questioned them why ICICI treat old and new customer differently and offer different interest rates within floating agreement, they did not have any answer, they just want money and switch fee to change to lower interest rates of 10.5. When i asked, what if ICICI reduce the floating rate by 1 more percent? They say will have to pay again switch fee eventhough i have a loan under floating rate of interest.

                  ICICI is a complete mess and gone in western hands, my friends its going CITIBANK and SCB way...........I would advise to go with someother banks but not with ICICI. You will end up having lot many problems.

                  This is my experience and will never think of going with ICICI lifetime.

                  I completely agree with you.I have really tolerating this third class bank for several years now. Home loan finance in Vashi is just pathetic. Area manager ...Dharshana(as of Jan 09) is biggest sitting in that bank.

                      Hi,

                      I recently have switched my auto loan from Citi Bank to ICICI Bank. The loan with the latter started on October 10, 2007. The loan no. is LUCAL[protected]. Their representative named Subhasish(phone no. [protected]) had taken my Smart Card in the month of August saying that the card was needed to change the hypothetication on it, i.e., earlier the car was hypothicated o Citi Bank and now it will be changed to ICICI since I'm switching/transferring the loan to them. I'd given the card to him without much questioning.. BUT.. its been quite a while and I AM YET TO GET THE CARD BACK. I stopped the ECS payment on the first month for this reason. At that a guy named Argha(phone no. [protected]) from the realization department had called up. I told him the problem. He handed me over to a senor of his, who only tried to convince me to pay the ECS and seemed least bothered about me not receiving my Smart Card. She tried to tell me that she or ICICI was not responsible. I'd obviously hung up the phone at that.. But finally I'd paid the month's installment because frankly I did not want to get beaten up by goons on the street(something that ICICI Bank has earned a good name in recently!!)....

                      This guy Subhasish(who took the card in the first place) had told me when he took the card that I'd get the card before the Durga pujas.. Nothing happened. I tried calling him but no response, he never picked up the phone!!! Then I complained directly at the ICICI bank and spoke to few representatives at about this without much luck. A senior official named Gayetri Mukherjee(phone no. [protected]) had promised me that I'll get the card by Nov 09, but same, no response for a long time again.. I called her up today after over a month and spoke with Ms. Mukherjee again and now she's trying to tell me that ICICI is not producing the Smart Card, its the RTO who might be delaying it.. However, she gave me the phone no. of another official name Rahul Kumar(phone no. [protected]) and asked me to speak with him. I tried his phone without any luck.. He was not receiving my call!!Then I again tried to call Ms. Mukherjee and she disconnected my phone, TWICE!!!!

                      BOTTOM LINE: I do not have the Smart Card of a car that I've been owning for the last TWO years and if I now meet with an accident or something worse happens and I need the card to claim insurance or for any other reason, I don't have it and I'll not be able to do anything without it...

                      I was working in a organisation . i received two credit cards from citibank and icici. Suddenly i have lost my job and i became mental. I had mental problem to say correctly and i was admitted in mental hospital. And i got discharged from mental hospital. I suddently got relapsed and used my both credit card to fullest extent. Now i have got a letter from the court. When credit card officials came to my house i told about my mental problem but even then they did not agreed. Since i was mentally handicapped i used the credit card without my knowledge.                           On 04/01/2007, i visited borivali west branch office and forwarded my letter for cancellation of my account accordingly I returned cheque books and got receipt of my forwarding letter .
                          I met Icici borivali west br. whenever i had transaction with my account and explained to them to resolve the matter .I received acknowledgement for that . I sent one e-mail to them and gave one hard copy to borivali west br.on 26/03/2007 i got acknowledgement for that .I requested their staff to help me on the matter of cancellation of account.I am 64 years of age and unable to visit again and again though I visited borivali west br. once and they told me to bring another letter for manager to pursue the matter .i had contact with their collection department and i sent them letter by fax to explain the matter .
                          Even after doing all this , account is still kept running and i am getting statement of account for nothing.. i have never ever expected such kind of ignorance of responsibilities with developing bank like ICICI. They never try to look in letters from consumer,and take any action for letters is the meaning i understand about them at least I understand that way .

                          Last year 14.01.2007 , my Credit Card of ICICI bank ([protected]) was stolen . Credit limit of my Credit Card was only 43000/- .
                          After theft , immediately i lodged the FIR in Sadar Thana Police Station , Meerut. and Police started their duty.
                          Because my whole wallet was stolen by someone , which containg no. of Credit Cards.simultaneously i informed to CC of ICICI Bank.
                          I dont know how an amount of Rs 59296/-( against credit limit of 43000/-) was used on shopping from my credit card.
                          when i get the statement then only i came to know that a shopping of rs 59296/- has been alreday done by thief on my Credit Card on 15.01.2007.
                          Following were the nams of merchant were mentioned in the statement

                          2)Prakash Travel[protected][protected]/-

                          suddenly after getting statement we went akask ganga jeweller , and again inform to ICICI Bank meerut anf custumer care centre regarding all this theft.Akask Ganga Jeweller accecpt all the whole thing and returned rs. 50000/ from thire account to icici bank.
                          we contact to second mercahnt also , but he was not ready to refund,
                          Bank told us that they will do inquiry, but after spending 2 months they without doing anything, even they dont confirmed to these merchant ( whose telephones nos. along with contact person i have sent to icici bank in my comlaint).
                          from that time itself , i m continiouly sending my request and reply to therecredit card statement .
                          they give me a notice from there lawer.we also reply to the same.
                          but presently without informing me and without any court decesion they deduct rs 17000/- from my account.how it can possible.but they deduct.
                          43000/- was my credit card limit, 59296/- was spend on my card by thief, court decesion is unsolved , FIR is there ( copy of which i have already sent to ICICI bank Mumbai).
                          Rs 50000/- was refunded by mercahant . being this they are deducting rs 17000/- . they know they is was the case of theft.

                          a) I have paid my credit card bill with in time limit, but late fee charges charged by you.
                          b) Different service tax rates applying by you at the time of billing.
                          c) Service tax deducted by you on some particulars transaction.
                          d) I have paid my bill Rs. 1332/- through cheque no. 255902 on dated 26/03/2008 and It is not cleared in my a/c till date, but in statement this cheque showed cleared and late fees charges deducted and show cheque return due to wrong cheque no.[protected] fault done by you. I am not responsible for this event.

                            ICICI bank blocked my account for non payment of credit card without giving prior notice to me i request the executives and customer care for settlement of cards and my account is linked with demat account i am not able to sell or buy shares since my account is blocked and account shows minus figure of rs.70000 which is due on my 2 credit cards i request not make sufffering to the customer and lead them to mental stress and problems and lead them to suicide since similar cases happen they should help customer by providing easy emis for settlement of cards from saving accounts or one time settlement waving interest like wise. some law should come to help people from this devil of free credit cards which lead ultimately to death by depression i hope icici bank read this coloumn and help there customers and before blocking account you give a chance to get answer from customer suitable help.

                            My koushik das. I am holding a Saving Bank Account (Salary Account) with ICICI Bank at 20, R N Mukherjee Road, Kolkata. 700001 my A/C No is[protected].
                            This account is been Debit freeze by ICICI Bank RCU department from last 1 and half months. My case is with RCU Department (Videocon Tower, Jhandewalan). I had already submitted the concern documents to prove myself innocent to ICICI Bank RCU Department.
                            I went to my branch, but there Branch Manager are not available from 1 weak, but they told they don't have authority and RCU department will activate it.and told me they did email to head office.

                              Dear Sir/Madam,
                              Earlier, I have received an ICICI credit card in the life time free rental scheme but unfortunately, I haven’t used the card and I had received a bill of Rs= 101/- rental charge. I had complaint to ICICI credit card customer care and I told to executive to stop the services of my card immediately as per executive I had broken the card.
                              Recently somebody comes to my house to collect due payment of my credit card around Rs=67, 000/- after heard that I got socked and refused him to giving any payment because I haven’t used after broken the card.
                              So, I want to complaint of ICICI credit card to consume for above instance happened with me and I need appropriate judgment.

                                Hi,

                                The ICICI Direct - Trading site very often shows Technical Fault only during the trading hours. Even their helpline numbers are not available during this time. For an important product like Trading Site, it should work perfectly atleast during the Trading hours.
                                Also, they should have a different helpline number for ICICI Direct and not a common one which deals with Bank, Credit Card, Trading etc altogether.

                                Icici direct - If you are having any technical fault in the software or anywhere, at least you should inform the customes by sms and give us another wayout for the dealing, you can't close your sites like this, this is not acceptable. Requesting to you please take care in future and find out the solution if such type of problem will occure in future.

                                Every day your site is having technical problems and due to which i am suffering & when i am asking for complaint No for site Technical problems, for delays in the status, site down, no current updates, site not avalable, on customer care no :[protected] giving unsatisfactory answers and not taking the complaints, just now also i have talk to Madam (Cima), yesterday also i talk to incharge of call Center he was also not given the complaint no and replied very aroguntly and rubishly, many times i am sending the E-mails on the same id, from this also i am not got any reply till date. Few hours back also i have send the e-mail with all snap shots also given copy to : sebi, finance ministery and many more. Now i was surprise, when at 6:59 pm i have checked the status of my order, from more than 1 year i am trading in Margin Plus but never i have seen the order get executed before 3:00 pm(but today now it is showing executed before 3:00pm at i.e. at 14:46pm), in status when i was checking it was not executed upto 5:00pm.I am dam shure that this order you have manupulated and it is not system generated. If every time & every day your server is having problem then why proper maintainance is not done ? & due to your poor maintanance why every day i should be suffering ? and i should bear the losses ? who is resposible for all these ??? I want in written from your side that when your server, site & Tecnical Problems will get solved and after that still this happens frequently, you should bear all my losses which I may i get in furture also. For Tecnical problems i should get complaint Nos for every complaints, when i am complaing on customer no[protected] If you feels that your Bank and Technical Team is uncapable in sloving the problems which is comming every day, then you suggest me in written to close the online Demat account of ICICI Direct.com WATING FOR YOUR REPLY WHICH is my RIGHT

                                  I am Vini.My husband has taken loan from his Government job an amount of Rs 45000/-.His personal account is in ICICI Bank,Chandigarh.The loan was sanctioned on 21st Nov 07. After 03 days he went to the Sec-34 Branch of ICICI they told him that the money was not credited.They told him that it will take 07 working days.After 07 working days he again went there and queried them.Then they told that the money was not credited and it will take 03 more working days.Then after 03 working days he again went and they again told him that it will take 02 more days.After 02 days he again went there and asked them, then they told him that there is a mistake in his name and to clarify it come with a notary certificate.Then he came with a certificate.Then he took the token and waited for his time.Then the female employee avoid my husbands token no.(176/177) and called the other no.'s again my husband taken more that 02 token and she called him.Actually the money was credited on 23 Nov 07 and they hide it from my husband's knowledge.Become an Air Force Officer ,he wants to make the notary certificate and everything.Also the mental harassment from the Bank employees was unquotable.Also the thing is that we lost the interest of our money for that 11 days.

                                  Now who will be guilty for this problem?

                                  I am sincerely request you to take an action against the Sec 34 Branch of ICICI Bank, Chandigarh.

                                    I have one ICICI Bank Account at Gurgaon with number[protected]. There was around 27000 balance as of today at 4 PM. Suddently I have seen an amount of 26,478/- is debited against one credit card number [protected], which credit has not been received by me till date and I am not owning such a credit card.

                                    When I called the customer care they are simply telling so many numbers to call but no number is picking up.

                                    I request you to immediately intervene in the matter and do the needful to get the amount of Rs.26,478/- credited to my account back immediately.

                                    I opened one current account at borivali west , but after some days i found that icici had opened another branch very conveniently situated near to my work place in borivali east .
                                    I went to Borivali west br. of ICICI and gave them letter to cancel my account , I received signature as acknowledgement from their staff dtd. 04/01/07 on my copy of that letter. There after l went to icici borivali east branch and i received signature from them as I forwarded to them again copy of that letter.
                                    I sent e-mail to their officeand copy ofthat forwarded to borivalieast office with geting acknowledgement.I requested several times to borivali west staff.

                                      Hi ,

                                      This is with reference to the personal loan I had applied with your bank.(ICICI)
                                      Mr. Mahendran collected all my documents on 30th Oct for the personal Loan. On 2nd November night I got a call from Mahendran stating the cheque has been dispersed from ICICI bank and it would reach me via courier in two days time. On 5th evening I called Mr. Mahendran and informed that I haven’t received the cheque. He then asked me to wait till evening for an update. He then called me in the evening to check if I received the cheque. I then told him I Haven’t received it, so he provided me with the Telephone num of ICICI to check on the status. From then I am in touch with Customer care for an update. I spoke to Sunitha the agent who was rude. Hence I advised to put me across to manager. Then Sirisha the manager who took over the call from then set all incorrect expectations with me. She said she would revert to me in 2 days with an update. I did wait for her call but she dint return to my call. I had to call ICICI CC to get through her again and then she promised a follow up call back in the evening on Saturday. Again she failed to do so. New week and a Monday (12/11/2007) I had to call ICICI CC and finally got through Sirisha. She then was blaming the Rep Mr. Mahendran stating he is responsible for my cheque and she is not responsible. I then explained to her that all are working for ICICI hence all should be co-operative and help a customer to get the issue resolved. She then was arguing on the cal. I have recorded all the conversation had with customer care. I got a call from Mahendran yesterday (12/11/2007) who gave me the courier details with the guy carrying the courier and his number. He also provided with office number of the courier. Mean time I got a cal from Kavitha from Team United express courier who informed me that in 1hr my cheque will be delivered at home. Since 10days my parents are at home waiting for the same. I did get a call from Ashwni on Monday from Mumbai ICICI bank who did give me the same info. The courier guy’s mobile number given by kavitha was not reachable at any point of time. I did call ICICI bank and Kavitha and I informed the same. The ICICI managers also tried to reach him but in vein. Kavitha still promised me that it would be delivered in the evening. Finally I got through laxmanan who was carrying my courier. I asked him for it then he gave me a Number to call and the guys name is Shankar. This guy never picks up the call. Finally I got through him and he said he would deliver it by 8pm..After 8pm I tried calling him but he does not pick up the call.

                                      Today (13/11/2007) I did call ICICI bank and escalated the issue. Post lunch I got a call from Kavitha from the courier who was very rude and informed me that my mother has signed and taken the cheque 10days ago. My mother has not collected it at all. I asked for POD then she said it’s been signed by my mother. I spoke to Mr. Suboth (Manager in the courier firm) When I said I am coming to his office to check the POD he was avoiding me and telling me not to come. I asked him to send the POD as email then he says there is no power at his place. I did communicate the same to Ashwini the manager from Mumbai branch, Mahendran and his manager. Then they asked me to come to ICICI bank BOMANAHALLI. I met Mr. Shastry the Ops Manager who also spoke to the courier guys who were carrying the courier after taking the number from me. They both confirmed that they haven’t delivered it at my place and it’s been returned to the courier office.
                                      Then Mr. Shastry called Mr. Suboth who was not sure what he is talking about. Now he says he is not sure if the cheque is delivered or it’s misplaced in his office. So Shastry asked for POD even then he denied to send it.

                                      Finally Mr. Shastry informed me that either the cheque will be delivered to me by tomorrow morning (14/11/2007) 10am or he would deposit the cheque at CITIBANK directly by (14/11/2007) 5PM. I would wait for his response till tomorrow COB.
                                      I have taken an off from my work place yesterday and today for this issue. The amount I wasted making calls to ICICI bank customer care, calling Mumbai and Hyderabad numbers to get through managers is huge amount. The stress and mental tension caused by the bank and the courier to my parents and me. Finally the amount I paid for my taxi to shuttle from one branch to another to get an update.

                                      I would like to hear from some of the manager on the same at the earliest. I am looking forward for compensation for all the inconvenience caused all these days for no fault of mine. I had applied Loan to complete the house construction. As I dint get the Amount on time the contractor has stopped the construction which is caused a huge inconvenience to us.

                                      I don't have words to say something about ICICI bank, the worst bank in india for providing geniune service to customers. I am sure you guys always loose money with ICICI bank and its a big pain to NRIs.

                                      I brought a home loan an year ago for the amount of 10, 00, 000 rs, now i am seeing 10, 28, 500 in my online bank account. They were saying the extra amount is providing Lombard Insurance. I never requested for that insurance, they added it for automatically with out asking me. They didn't send even one email or message alert. I started communicating with them from feb 2009 - its almost mid of May 2009, i hope they will solve my problem by end of year.

                                      I am searching for ICICI bank directors or GM email address, i need to escalate the issue upto them otherwise it may not solve in comming months. Because i sent a min of 25 emails to customer service so far.

                                      sir my acount no in ICICI bank is[protected] at bathinda in Punjab. there were Rs 75,554 in my account as per statement of account 31 jan 09.My wife went to ATM Machine of vijaya bank on 2 feb 09 at 1716h she received ruppes 12000 at first withdrawl command.she again gave the withdrawl command of Rs12000 at 1724h but she did not receive any amount and receipt from the ATM machine but the amount get dedected from my account. then i gave the witten complaint to ICICI bank coustomer care SR No 95434021dt 03 Feb 09, again i gave the complaint no 99079417 dt 06 mar 09.third srl no 99403406 dt 09 Mar 09,fourth Srl No[protected] dt 06 Apr 09 Fifth Srl No[protected] Apr 07 .                                         I am a serving Army officer presently posted at College of Military Engineering, Pune and shifted to Pune in June, 07 from Bangalore. I have been subject of a fraud at the hands of ICICI bank. I hold an account with ICICI Bank at Hissar (Haryana Branch) as I was posted at Hissar from Jan 2002 to May 2004. I have never been to Hissar since May 2004 as I was transferred to Bangalore from Hissar, and then in 2007 (after three years) got posted to Pune. I was operating this account for primarily paying bills through cheques and online internet bill payments etc.

                                        I hold an ATM card of the bank with me which is valid for another decade or so. Now ICICI informs me that a new Grid based card has been issued to me which could not be delivered to you as I stay in Army Colony and couriers are not allowed inside.

                                        I informed them to send the ATM card to any ICICI Bank and I would collect the same from the given address. Then ICICI informs that the ATM card has been sent back to parent branch in Hissar and I collect it from them. So I informed them that I am located at Pune, please send the card in Pune. Now ICICI says that the card has been destroyed. So I was satisfied.

                                        But on 29th October 2007, I find that two withdrawls of Rs 2522/- and 22522/- have taken place from my account. I ask ICICI about it and I am informed that these are ATM withdrwal from a non-ICICI bank. I ask them to refund the money as I have not authorised the withdrawls. They said that they will revert with fraud investigation after 34 days and registered a complaint SR 43001554 and now they say that money will not be refunded. I have lodged an FIR with Bhosari, Police Station, Pune with inward number 9524/2007 dated 30 Oct 2007.

                                        I am sitting in Pune and money has been withdrawn from Hissar AXIS bank ATM (as per information of ICICI bank). The ATM card issued without my authorisation and then not delivered to me. And then money withdrawl from Hissar where the ATM card was finally lodged and allegedly destroyed by ICICI. All point to a major security breach at ICICI and they are not responding to any of my queries. I tried talking to the bank but I got a reply that speak to customer care. And customer care is just repeating one fact that the card has been destroyed and there is no other card.

                                        I am attaching all the transcripts of the emails (after my mobile numbers) that I have transacted with ICICI on their Infinity banking site.

                                        I have all the details with me in hard copy too and also the FIR copy with police station. I am located in Pune and would be willing to hand over documents if you so desire.

                                        When someone defaults on payments to ICICI, he gets beaten up or even killed and here a customer has suffered loss at the hands of ICICI and can not do anything about it. All he gets is a two liner reply. Please help me in getting my money back from ICICI.

                                        I have already wasted a lot of time and effort in filing an FIR and then talking to ICICI customer care and even visiting their branches but to no avail. I hope something can be done. It is really frustrating dealing with ICICI bank. I have become quite paranoid about money, and it has just destroyed my mental peace and affecting my health too. Also I have wasted a lot of time in sending emails, going to the ICICI bank, police station for filing the complaint and also talking to ICICI customer care which put you in a loop. Please help me.

                                        It is really sad that a bank of your repute has some bad hats. I have suffered a huge monitary loss for no fault of mine. I have my debit card with me and have never disclosed the pin. Actually I have hardly ever used it for withdrawl of moneys from ATM.                                         I am not able to fathom the amount of security leaks at your Hissar Branch, that all the details have been revealed and also a debit card either the one that you said in your mails that has been destroyed was never actually destroyed. I would like to know whether you actually destroy a card or just erase its contents, what is the surety that the contents were erased???

                                        And if you physically destroy the card, what if it is not destroyed and lands in someone else's hands who happens to be an insider and knows all the details like PIN etc. from the main server or database.

                                        I want all these questions answered. It is my hard earned money which has gone in minutes.

                                        The fraudulent transaction has taken place at Hissar, EXIM bank. And my account is with Hissar ICICI bank. Naturally someone insider has done this job. Can we really trust you with our money in this way? I am at Pune and transaction takes place at Hissar....

                                        I have been a regular customer of ICICI bank, both debit and credit card but I never thought that I can be duped of my hard earned money like this. Also I have never defaulted on any payment schedule. I am a customer of ICICIdirect too for a long time, 2001-02. I thought that you value relationship but I am disappointed.

                                        I was given to understand that I will get a resolution in a day but I had to ring up the customer care and again go through the full rigmarole of explaining to a plethora of customer care executives to reach the manager for an answer of EXIM bank and no resolution of complaint. It is a fault of your system, I have my card with me, someone has done the fraud at the location of the bank. Had it happened in Kerala, then it would have been different. But it happened in Hissar , even a kid would put two and two together and say that there is somthing seriously amiss in your Hissar Branch.

                                        I have lodged a complaint with Bhosari Police Station, Pune for unauthorised transaction in my account. I have also contacted the Cyber Crime Cell for advise and if required I shall not hesitate to go to consumer court for redressal of complaint. You are custodians of our money and also the data. If I am in possession of my ATM card how could someone get a duplicate of it??? It is a serious lapse. I had heard that such things used to happen in the West that Debit cards are cloned but never thought that happening in India and that too Hissar. Or it is the Grid Card falling in wrong hands???

                                        I want resolution of the complaint at a quicker pace. So I would request you to act in an appropriate manner.

                                        Your response is just great, a two liner stating that photos of the person who has fraudulently withdrawn money are not available thus money can not be refunded. You, who profess customer relations, did not even bother to go into details that the customer is a reputed Army Officer with absolute clean track record of a more than five years of banking with you. If this is what you do to your trusted customer, I really can not fathom your response to general public. I had thought that you would go all the way to find how it happened but you have just done a lip service, probably your bank has become large and unwieldy, kind of going out of control.

                                        I also thought that you would initiate an inquiry and try to find the security breach but your operators are stating that there is no duplicate card. I had stated earlier that the card is held with me in my person and while I am in Pune the money has been withdrawn from an AXIS Bank ATM in Hissar. On the day of the transaction 29 Oct, 07, I had requested your ICICI Customer manager that I am willing to show the card to any bank in Pune, as I am stationed in Pune, but I was told that we believe you. And now, you say that that the card is unique and can not be duplicated.

                                        I state that the breach is at your bank and it is major security breach. I also state that I have trusted the money with you, I have trusted my details with you and you have compromised the details for this fraudulent transaction.

                                        True the PIN is with me but it has to be in your system too, otherwise how would one log into IVR by PIN and ATM card number. Now for an ATM transaction, both are required that is the card and also the PIN. If the fake card has been generated after obtaining my details from your bank, then why not the PIN. But the Card is unique as told to me by your operators, then major security breach is from your bank that someone has stolen my account details and generated a fake card. And the reason that the card has been used in Hissar also points in the same direction.

                                        Another small but very important issue, what is more serious security breach the DUPLICATE ATM CARD or PIN???? A hardware has been generated and used. I am not aware but it would require my account details and certain security features to access my account, how these details have been obtained by the fraudster??? The finger points to your Hissar bank. Now if he can obtain such classified details and also the security features of the card, is PIN a difficult job for him??? I hope you understand.

                                        Also why have you generated the GRID Based Card without my request?? When the present card is valid till 2016, what was the need to generate another card?? There are many questions which I would like you to answer.

                                        But first you must recognise this as a major security breach and initiate measures to avoid further frauds of this nature. Second I would like you to initiate enquiry at the highest level of your fraud control division and refund my hard earned money. Always remember, the justice is gradual. I can approach Sessions Court, then High Court and then Supreme Court. Just a tinpot enquiry can not say that the money shall not be refunded. You have more liability in protecting my money. You must institute measures for safe banking.

                                        Now if passive investigation has not been successful then do pro-active investigation. You enable my card and then keep the same in a vault in any ICICI bank, under lock and key. The individual would again try to use the dupliacte card and my point that there is a duplicate card and a mojor security lapse would be proved. But then you should be willing to accept that such a thing is possible. Now for no fault of mine I have lost a sizeable sum of 25044/-.

                                        Another small observation, if I have to withdraw 25000/- why would I withdraw in two installments, I am a netbanking customer with a number of net transactions, would I not be aware of the balance in my account and why would I waste Rs 22/- in the second transaction.

                                        If you look at the withdrawl pattern, the person has withdrawn Rs. 2522/- first and then 22522/- after checking the balance and he has been in the ATM for more than eight minutes. If you can not find the identity of the person from AXIS bank why have you tied up with them for ATM withdrawl?? You should have ensured compatible service standards before allowing such a tieup.

                                        I would like the enquiry to be escalated to the highest level and also would want a direct telephone number of the person incharge. I would also want the telephone number of your IT manager. I have wasted a lot of money in telephone calls to your operators and explaining all the details time and time again. It is really taking a toll on my health, it is raising my blood pressure and causing mental agony to me. The frustration in getting to the right person aggravates my condition of high blood pressure. This is the service of ICICI bank, this is your committment. You make a person fall into a loop to avoid liabilities.

                                        I would request an elaborate investigation of the incident with detailed report on all facets.

                                        BANGALORE: Rs 14.31 lakh was stolen from an ICICI bank ATM in ATR complex in Murugeshpalya. On June 15, Rs 14, 30, 400 was loaded into the ATM machine. The following day, it was discovered that the money was stolen. However, the ATM was left untampered. Police suspect bank officials to have committed the offence.
