Complaint marked as Resolved
Dear Sir,
This has reference to Agreement No. LVCAL [protected] wherein I had taken a loan from your bank for purchase of vehicle ( Tata 407 Turbo; Registration no. WB41C 4395 ).
Due to certain unavoidable circumstances I was not able to make payment of EMI amounting Rs. 28, 014 ( payable @ Rs 14, 007 / monthly ).However, after having received your letter in the month of November in respect of my outstanding, I was about to regularize my account; when I was taken aback by your collection executive who informed that a further payment of Rs 5, 000 approx needs to be paid towards clearance of O.D. charges.
On such event, he was requested to produce a detailed statement of my account and discounting of the O.D. charges before any further payments, for which I was promptly promised, after a telephony conversation with his “senior”. But till date, neither the statement was handed over nor any news regarding waiver / discounting of charges.
Further, on the 8th of December ’08. with no prior intimation, the Vehicle was forcefully taken into possession from the middle of the road; by some agency who showed no proof but claimed to be working for your bank.
Sir, I had no intension to play foul by any means, nor did I want to hamper my pleasant association with your bank either not atleast for mere Rs 28, 014. All that was asked for was a simple statement and petty discount. Your men did not perform, they were at fault and now I am harassed made to bare all rot.
Non the less, even now that I am ready to clear my dues at one go and regularize my account. I am further imposed with Possession changes, Godown changes, Valuation changes, O.D. changes, Cheque Bounce changes, and an advance 3 months Emi and other unaccounted changes….all totaling approx Rs.1, 30, 000/-.
I believe, the above mentioned clearly surpasses the power and rights given by me under the aforesaid Agreement.
As I abridge, I wish to inform and confirm your goodself, that as a valued customer I agree to pay all my outstanding Emi as on date, at one go ( Rs 14, 007 * 3 = Rs 42, 021) and shall clear my further Emi on the respective due dates. I shall bear no further charges whatsoever.
In view of the said circumstance I do fervently hope and trust that your good office would appreciate the hereinabove and allow release of the Asset.
Thanking you.
