[Resolved] Idea Cellular Ltd. — CHEATING

Someone from IDEA call centre has CLEARLY told me that my BBM and What’s App services will absolutely FREE when i will be travelling abroad…..that’s why I have only used these services when I was in Dubai…!!

On 29th March'13 I flew to Dubai and was there till 2nd April'13, international roaming facility was there in my phone and In Dubai, my phone was only used for BBM and What’s App only and only 2 calls were done for approximately 4-5 seconds each. Yestaerday morning when I started to get ready for my work and call my colleagues I was surprised to see that I cannot make any outgoing calls from my no. I called up the customer care regarding the same and was shocked by there revert “Sir Your outgoing is barred due to very high unpaid amount” the bill showed at Rs 16594/- which indeed is an erroneous amount as the amount could not shoot up that high for 2 petty 4-5 sec calls.

Then i spoke to Shivani Sood and Prabhakar Bhardwaj in IDEA in Delhi regarding the same and as per them BBM and What's App services are chargeable when we will be in abroad.

This is clear case of CHEATING !!

IN THIS PLAN THEY OFFERED 444 MIN FREE LOCAL & STD CALS PLUS THE CALL RATE ON TWO SPECIAL STD NUMBER WOULD BE 10 PAISE PER MIN PER MONTH, & PROMISS ME TO ACTIVATE THIS SERVICE TILL EVENING OF THE SAME DAY.

I WOULD LIKE TO BRING TO YOUR KIND NOTICE THAT THE SERVICE IS STILL NOT BEEN ACTIVATED TILL NOW EVEN AFTER PAYING RS.750/ VIDE RECEIPT NO-4289 DATED: 31/12/2008 IN CASH FOR MIGRATING THE SAME.
ON MY CALL THESE PEOPLE ARE NOT RESPONDING PROPERLY & NOT GIVEING ME CORRECT STATUS.

My name is Mr. Aktar I. sayyad I had brought My gang card last 8 months ago, after 6 months i got a message as well as call from idea cellular stating that by recharging Rs.151 voucher my call rate will be continued same as earlier(My gang tariff) valid upto 6 month .
But now today i got message from idea that My Gang Callrates are changing from 18th Feb 09(Exactly double then Earlier) .This is CHEATING when Idea gives Commitment that by Recharging Rs.151/- will get Earlier My Gang tariff which is valid for 6 Months

Idea — PROVIDING FORCEFULLY UNWANTED PLANS

Dear Sir/ Ma'am

I would like to tell you that i have been using idea connection since last 6-7 yrs and my present number since last 5 yrs. now as the validity of my number is going to expiry i had a talk with one of you executive who told me that i have to get my phone recharged with 90-99 rs and i'll be getting lifetime validity but when i asked about other validity option say for 1-2 months or any other option lesser than life time, your executive told me that now idea is not providing short validity vouchers so i need to get along with lifetime option other wise my number would be disconnected.

Well i want to know few things-:

1) dont u have any voucher with short span of validity??
2) dont you loyal n old customer have any say in your company??
3) do you force your customer to go for lifetime validity??

hope i'll get answers of my questions very soon else i would have to knock the doors of consumer court.

i hav been using idea prepaid gang card since a year.i feel that someone has got my call details without informing me.i doubt over the privacy of idea prepaid services.please keep eye on these things.and check and inform me about my call history details on my email ID.i am not sure whether my card is on my name or it may be on my brothers name if not mine.

i came to delhi after years and i brought an IDEA prepaid just because its call rate is a bit less in some offers. after few days i activated net1 plan to browse net. they activated it, never sent the setting and started deducting the money from my account. i tried to deactivate but still they didnt and deducting the rental charge. is this a fair business???? i m using airtel from past 8 yrs and i must tell thats the best service no hidden cost. no cheatings

I have been asked for postpaid connection by Mr.Karan whose mobile no is [protected]. He convinced me to take the connection and he asked me to give one idea number in which i can talk unlimited. But there is no such schem or plan. I have been cheated in the name of the company.

For me now going with IDEA is very bad. I want to know why such things happens and because of such people company's name is effecting.

Please take some action against these kind of executives.

I have been receiving missed calls to my wife's mobile frequently from an Idea No [protected] and when I called the same. I am getting very rude messages like it is not his number and he found out it somewhere and he from rayalseema and he knows good people and he replies to my messages with vulgar words. Please help me in this regard. I am getting a number o fmissed calls during midnights and that too i have a little child who is unable to sleep also as i am expecting a important call

Idea — cheating in the per minute plan.

idea are cheating in per minute plan. like, if i speak for 58 Second, that means they are charge for 2 minutes or 2 unit. i had informed to customer care so many times but they are also scrolled upon me.we are calling C.care for the better service but here, Idea keep their executive for "MAKE PEOPLE DONKEY BY FORCE". because u don't have any hand to catch them.

Please Do't buy IDEA SIM CARD beacuse of High validity or full talk time or offers. Idea company behaving worst manner, they taking money indirectly.
They taking money from our account for Costing money for Daily news,crickets and others without our knowledge. IDEA Cheating indirectly.This is the good way to cheat village people.... Please carefull with your mobile account... Do't waste your money ...

In the October month i loss 50rs for useless thing, if i ask customer care, they replaying like they ill return back in three days but not returning amount.
Please do't buy IDEA ,, IDEA is Worst, Cheating Company

Dear Sir,

i am chakri i came here to tel you about idea people cheating..i am doing recharge of rs 46 which will give 120 mins of mobile 3 G..but they are allowing us to browse only 60 mins exact instead of 120 mins.i tried with another idea number but the same thing happened.i called to the customer care but they are not responding..and they are giving childish answers like (server busy, details not updated, we get only last day updates) like that...i did almost 15 (rs 46) recharges but the same thing happened to me and my friends..please beware of idea and please port out to any networks.. DON'T LOSS YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY..
