[Resolved] Idea Cellular Ltd. — IDEA's failure to activate 4 month free 2gb data plan on Lumia 610 | |||
IDEA announced 4 month free 2gb data plan internet service with some earlier sold Nokia Lumia 610 handsets (Click here to see their advertisement http://goo.gl/xWupp). I bought a handset on 20 July, 2012 but still money gets deducted everytime I use internet service on the handset. I have made numerous calls to IDEA customer care but they seem not interested my problem. IDEA complaint number: 1-[protected] Nokia complaint number: 1-[protected] I don't have call recording of customer care calls, but I do have my emails to them. Below are the mails I had sent to IDEA Cellular Ltd - Customer Oprs <[protected]@idea.adityabirla.com [protected] Mail 1 (on 21 August[protected][protected] Dear IDEA Customer Care Official, I'm ***** Jawale from ***** and I have IDEA prepaid card since 4-5 years. More than a month ago I bought Nokia Lumia 610 mobile with which IDEA is providing 4 months free 3G service (advt. attached herewith). Since then I have made 6 calls to IDEA customer care regarding activation of this service but each time I get the same reply "We are working on it". IMEI Code of my handset: [protected] My idea cell number: *******897 SIM ID:[protected] Device ID: e257a4e9-fb6d9b50-31567f7b-0v33a51b-6fbca912 Please note - 1. I have not used any other SIM card other than my own in the lumia handset till now. 2. I had cut the handset seal myself so there is no question of anybody else using this handset before me. 3. I have made many calls from this SIM before 30 September 2012. This date seems to be the date until which this offer is provided. Idea should provide this service without asking me to contact NOKIA, as it is your responsibility that the service should get activated. I request you to do the following 1. Check which SIM card is associated free 3G service with the aforementioned IMEI number. If the number is different from my IDEA number, I will have to additionally contact Nokia customer care. 2. If there is no SIM card associated with my IMEI number please active the free service on my handset ASAP, and inform me via email/phone about WHEN it will be activated. 3. Let me know if you cannot activate this service, I will contact other service providers who are providing the offer. Thank you. [protected][protected][protected]------ Then I get a call from them on 28 August. One person (forgot his name) tells me that he needs to discuss it with his colleagues and he'll get back to me after that. But I did not get any call after this from them. [protected]-------(Mail on 30 August,[protected] Dear IDEA Customer Care Official, Thanks for calling me 2 days before. I would like to know if there has been a follow-up on this issue. Please inform me as soon as possible. [protected]------(Mail on 4 September,[protected] Dear IDEA Customer Care Official, Please let me know the situation on my complaint as soon as possible. You had called and informed that you'll need to discuss the matter with concerned colleagues. [protected][protected][protected]------- Frustrated, I contact Nokia customer care. They kindly forward my complaint from their side to IDEA. But Even they don't get any reply from IDEA. Then I ask Nokia customer care person to send a reminder mail to IDEA. A few days after that I get following email from IDEA. [protected]------(First mail from IDEA on 8 September,[protected] Dear Mr. Jawale, Greetings for the day! We regret the delay in reply. This is with reference to your e-mail regarding recharge benefits for your mobile number [protected]. We wish to inform you that the benefits has already been credited to your Idea pre-paid account on 22nd July 2012 and the same is reflecting. Further, we would request you to kindly confirm us with the suitable date and time so that your concerns can be addressed and discussed to your satisfaction. Should you need any further assistance, please call our Customer Service help line number [protected] or email us at [protected]@idea.adityabirla.com Thanks & Regards, Customer Service Team Idea Cellular Limited - Maharashtra & Goa Circle [protected][protected][protected]-- What an audacity ! Money is still getting deducted from my account and they are saying "the same is getting reflected!" [protected]Reply from me on 8 September, 2012)--- Please call me tomorrow or Monday morning by 10 am or so. Let me note that the service has NOT been activated on my mobile. [protected]Mail on 10 September,[protected]- Dear IDEA customer care official, Please let me remind you to call me at *******897 regarding my complaint in the email sent before. Please call me ASAP. Complaint in summary Failure to activate free internet browsing service on or after 22 July. I have been paying the cost of internet (you can check my Idea account) while using Idea internet on my Lumia 610 handset. I have also complained about this to Nokia customer care. Thank you. mobile net plan 51 — FAILURE OF ACTIVATION OF MOBILE NET
sir i would like to bring to your notice that its very muchfrustrating for me nw .....
i have been trying to activate mobile internet rs 51 plan from last many days
i have tried by sending mssg ( M51 to 51234
also tried service command *123*051#
ALSO CALLED CUSTOMER CARE THOSE PEOPLES TOLD ME THT TEY HV ACTIVATED
BUT TILL NW NOTHG HAS HAPPND
now its almost 15 days and iam feedup of calling every day to customer care
this same problem i was facing in decmber too but it got solved after
troubling me for 7-8 days but nw its really out of my control
if i called customer care they trasfer it to gprs dept. where they
tell me they cannot solve my problem as htere they only give internet
settings
more ever no body is trying to understand my problem too
also the customer care doesnt gv valid information . eg. 1 guy told me
to do e recharge of 51 for activation bt iit faild and i ended up
getting an balance of 10 rs
its very must frustrating and if i complain abt ths thn sm tell me
tht te net cannt b activated by e recharge .!!!
my 51 rs a gone /.................
its my humble and kind request to please solve my problem as early as
possible ...............also i got msg of activation of miss call
