[Resolved]  IFB Washing Machine — machine does not switches off after washing. we can not open the door. It is a front loading machine.

I too had the same problem with the IFB machine. When we called the service person (despite having an AMC) they said it an untime call (even at 5.30pm) and had asked to call the call centre who advised to depute a person next day. In the meanwhile the clothes inside the machine could not be taken out and got damaged due to soaking for almost 20 hours.

I advise through this forum to prospective buyers never to buy a front loading washing machine and that too from IFB, who fleece the customers initally through the price of the machine, then through accessories and finally through AMC. Even after shelling uot huge sums, then you would get a very shabby treatment from their service.
