IFB / AW60-8062 — Hopeless service of IFB
We bought Fully Automatic Washing Machine AW60-8062 from Shree Sandesh Electronics, Kalyan in Feb 2009. We noticed after a few days that there was little water lickage so complaint in June to repair it. After a long time they tried to solve it but in the mean while the machine stopped calculating water level automatically. Now the machine always shows water level 1 irrespective of no. of clothes put in for washing. For this, the technician replaced the PCB and now the machine always shows water level as 16 (which is highest) and time duration as 43. We cannot change any setting. Machine runs with water level of 16 and for 43 minutes irrespective of number of clothes. The Kalyan Service center technicians are not only hopeless but they are damaging. Beware of them.IFB Central online service only takes down the complaints but never resolves them.
I am putblishing this in the interest of the people. Just do not go by the name of IFB. Never recommend IFB unless you have experience that wasy. We request the buyers NEVER EVER GO FOR IFB.

I am using this machine since 2011 and facing always problems. Each and every time the service person came and replaced the parts and charged comparatively huge amount for the parts. In the warranty period itself, the main control panel shows error and replaced free of cost. it works almost a year and again the start switch not working and have to replace the whole control panel for this single switch complaint and compel to pay Rs. 4000 for the panel. Again the panel is not working now and have to change for that I have to pay Rs.6000. In this five year span I had almost spend an amount equal to the price of a new machine. I am totally disappointed with the performance of IFB and also they are looting the customers by charging huge amount for the spares. My doubt is they are earning more from the spares than the sale of new machines. Please keep it in mind these facts if anybody goes to purchase IFB products. Also the company approach to the customers is so bad and not at all tolerated. BOYCOTT IFB and go for other brands.

ifb washing machine 8062 — complaint not attended
I have regestered a complaint on 2nd May 2009 second time Your ifb care has assured me to solved theproblem. My ticket no is2987787. this complaint is not resolved pl see it.And not asingle person has visited at my residence at Bank Colony near Pathankot.
