Hi All,

My name is Amit parashar, Claim No:- MOT00761986 is having problem with ICICI Loambard very badly. I had choosen Loambard as i feel that it was no. 1 insurance company in india but recently with his services i feel that it is providing very worst services in india.
My Motor cycle :- DL3SAY 1506 was stolen 3 months back & after that i had submitted each & every document to Loambard & that time they told that i will receive my claim amount with in 15 days. but it's going more than 3 months but i have not received any positive response from Loambard.
I had a word with 2 executive & manager of Loambard :- Vishal ([protected]) & Ashok( [protected]) ergarding my refund of Insurance amount but i surprised to knoe from vishal that ICICI Loambard was having some technical problem & due to this they are not able to provide my Insurance amount with in TAT.

Please suggest me is this is the way to treat with customer who is having faith in such bank.

I hope this email will give some work to do for customer as i am also working with customer service industry but from my side i never treated customer like this.

Kindly revert me for more clarification.

    I am a VISA Credit card holder of ICICI Bank.Since last two months I am not getting my credit card bill causing immense inconvenience in payment of monthly bills.Not only this, Iam not even mailed these bills in my e- mail ID, which has been given several times to customer care on demand.Please ensure that, either Ishould get bills in time or I would be compelled to surrender the credit card, which is of no use to me under these cercumstances.       To say that ICICI group itself is unrelibale to the core will not be an exaggeration. I am also not sure whether posting on this forum will be of any utility to me. I have spent time, energy and money to open a D-mat account with icicidirect.com. First, i attempted in February 2008, when they were offering a new dmat account in Rs 1 only. However, the application was rejected as i had not submitted three months bank statement, although i did give one months statement, by paying Rs 122 to ICICI Bank. Again, I re-applied in May 2008 and now gave three months statement, after paying rs 122 to the bank. After that, they never informed about the status and i had to myself go and scream at them. Then also nothing happenned and i am now totally frustated with these people. I am asking my cheque of Rs 750 back but they are not listening. ICICI group is insensitive, unethical and anti-customer. They should be banned.

        Hello,

        Am Satish.K credit card customer of ICICI bank, my credit card # [protected].

        On 10.07.2007 I called the ICICI customer care and requested to stop all the future payments to 4 utility bills and I was given an SR # 30661759.
        There after ICICI had done a payment of Rs.1992.00 on 19.07.2007 to LIC for 1of the policy which was requested to stop. As per ICICI utility bill payment terms & conditions any payment can be stopped before 7 days.
        On 22.08.2008 I called the ICICI customer care to check why is the payment done even after stop payment request and they said the transaction will be reversed and this would be the same as done earlier in my account on 23.12.2006 & I need not pay ICICI and ICICI would reverse the transaction and settle with LIC.
        On 19.09.2007 first time I was charged with Interest & service tax on it, I called ICICI customer care and explained the entire tale behind the transaction and they reversed the charges on 28.09.2007.
        Similarly on 21.09.2007 ICICI had charged over limit charges (exceeding the card limits) and Service tax on it, I called ICICI customer care and explained the entire tale and they reversed the charges on 05.10.2007.
        Every month calling the customer care to explain what had happened and getting the charges reversed was very complicated and telephone charges was too expensive, than me meeting the concerned officer in LIC.
        I approached LIC in November, 2007 and they confirmed about the duplicate payment done by ICICI to LIC policy and they said it would be adjusted to the future dues if there are no claims from ICICI bank.
        After confirmation from LIC for adjusting the duplicate payment towards the policy due on Jan’2008 I paid Rs.1992 with other purchase amount to ICICI, total payment on 08.02.2008 Rs.6775.12.
        By then every month I was charged with Interest and Service tax on it for non payment of Rs.1992.
        I again called ICICI customer care on 31.03.2008 and explained the entire tale that had happened and the executive was helpless and he said he can only pass the waiver on the previous bill and suggested to contact customer.[protected]@ICICIBANK.COM
        Even they are unable to pass waiver and requested to make me the complete payment to avoid further financial charges.
        Currently the total interest is Rs.1466.58 + ST 181.27.
        Kindly review the entire issue and get me out of this.

          catering to and not that of my family; kindly train your agents in
          Collection deptt.; they harass my family over telephone about my
          payments; my family has nothing to do with it so refrain; or else
          matter goes to your Chairman Managing Director and Executive

          Kindly note that the amount mentioned at top right hand column 3 &
          4 row 5 reads EMI Rs. 3, 940 which means to me that the monthly EMI
          which I have to pay is Rs. 3, 940/-.

          I have so far paid 19 instalments of EMI as Rs. 4615/- an excess
          of Rs. 675/- per month for 19 months. I understand that the first
          month charges are Rs. 675/- over and above Rs. 3, 940 which is Rs.
          4615/- and understandable.

          Prior to paying my first instalment I have checked this point with
          the concerned executive one Mr. Manmohan whose manager was one Mr.
          Agarwal both in Nagpur Civil Lines office of Nagpur. I was told by
          Mr. Manmohan that an EMI of at least 4500/- would fetch me credit
          card facility hence I agreed for it.

          Kindly note that so far I have paid an excess of Rs. 12, 150/- more
          than required.

          Kindly look into the matter and make necessary amendments to the
          schedule so that the matter does not go to the Chairman and CEO of
          ICICI

          Kindly revert ASAP

          I have already send you Several Email for NOC but there is no response for that mail.

          I Surendra Nahata have been paying my car loan from dt.16/2/2006 and have cleared all the amounts with interests.

          I was informed by ICICI representative that if the remaining amount of loan no. LABEL[protected] is transferred as a personal loan, my car would be released.

          But after I had voluntarily transferred the used car loan to personal loan all my PDC’s were returned but still the NOC of my car has not been released.

          I had previously sent emails on dt. 14-07-08 regarding the same but was not informed of any other clause also,

          I have been regularly paying the installment of my personal loan A/c No. LUBEL[protected] also and have cleared my car loan payments. In response, you are to release the NOC of my car which is not being done, which is against the policy that I was made aware of.

          I am still not being given my car’s NOC which is on the contrary basis of what was talked about.

          I claim that your employees are misguiding the customers by unfaithful policies and promises and hidden clauses.

          So I now request you to favour the release my car’s NOC immediately and I assure you timely payment of my personal loan.

          icici car loan nagpur branch — NOC not getting

            sir, i am using icici credit card since 2004, regular payee . card limit is 61000. on 25 june 2008 7;32 am call centre officer told that donot pay for 2 months then u can go for settlement.then i didnot pay.next month i got call from chennai collection "purushotham rao ".he told that sir pay this month i will put a mail on that. again this month another offcer is calling and she told that my supperor will call.in this way they are harssing me.

            I had speaked with miss sudha an executive from mumbai she told me the problem will solve within 2 days but till now the problem is pending.here i am providing the

The Settlement amount was 25, 000.00 and the Plan of was 1st Installment on 30/09/2008 Rs. 10, 000.00 By Cash Vide Receipt No - C[protected]. 2nd On 18/10/2009 Rs. 7500.00 by cheuqe Vide No 021893 on Axis Bank Cleared on 23/10/2008. 3rd on 18/11/2008 Rs. 7500.00 by cheque vide no 021894 on Axis Bank Cleared on 24/11/2008.

How Credit Card section can make service charges and interest without issuing the Credit Card. Why should I pay the amount for 11271.76 instead of Rs 4438/-, I am facing a lot of problem because day by day the services charges and interest is increasing which is not my liability to pay.

              With reference to the above cited subject.After making lots of repeatedly calls to the Customer Care department I am sorry to say that none were responded in positive way. I have confirmed from the ICICI Lombard Customer Care online they have explained that the amount to Rs. 7397/- was claimed without my consent.



              When I have given a request on 3.6.2008 vide request SR No 3060885 for cancellation my Policy then they have Credited Rs. 2959/- against the Credit Card so the total amount Rs. 4438/- is debited by ICICI Lombard Insurance, but the Credit Card Department debited amounting to Rs. 11271.76 against the credit Card No [protected] which I have never received and the said amount is referred to LIEN against my Saving Salary Account No[protected], my account is also freezed again in the month of Jul-08. Now I unable to withdraw my existing amount from Bank.





              As per Customer Care feedback, they told me that your credit card has been blocked and we can not register your NCR (NEVER RECEIVED CARD), when I have asked for NCR SR No the Customer Care Executive they have given me the SR No S 73639367 regarding inform to Collection Department on 24th Jul-08 and ansured that within the Seven days you will be called by our Collection Department but since then I have not received any call regarding this matter as I was said.





              The day before yesterday i.e on 26th Jul-08 I met to Mr Aman the ICICI Executive of Credit Card Collection Department at Rohini Branch but they told me we can't do anything else regarding this issue you please speak to Customer Care and Customer care is giving me counterfiet information.



              Requesting you please give a favourable intervention in this regards and do the needful enabling me to close this issue at the earliest



              Also requesting you please unfreeze my saving Bank Account No[protected] to make enable to withdraw the amount and keep smooth transactions properly.

                I m the employee of Cyber Media India Ltd. And my salaried account in ICICI Bank (Gurgaon Branch). I have 4, 226.00 Rs. in my account. Three days ago (i.e. 28/07/08), when I opened my online account to transfer some funds to someone. But I got surprised to see that the available balance is -40, 084 Rs. When I call to customer care, Mr. Hanuman (Manager) told me that some loan has come in your account by mistake. And we will resolve in two working days (i.e. 30/07/08). But after three days they told me you should pay the total amount. I m in trouble. Pls. contact me at [protected].

                  I took home loan from ICICI Bank vide Account No LBDEL [protected] in oct 2003.The intrest rate was 7.75% which has been increased to 13.5 % which is highest among the banks. The quality of service is very poor, there is no communication from bank about the loan status or change in the intrest rate. when apporached to bank for getting the balace payment details they asked Rs 100/- to provide this information. I called ICICI call centre.I was told that ICICI is charging high intrest rate for its goods service. There is only only good service observed with this Bank i.e loan is quickly senctioned and later they do not listen the customer. In vew of above I request you to take necessary action against the bank. -

                  ICICI Bank is one of the worst bank to deal with whether its bank accounts, home loan, Credit Cards, or some other products. I really have never heard ICICI bank reducing interest rates from last 4/5 years. RBI should strictly look into this matter and save customers of ICICI bank. I started my home loan in 2003 @8.00 and now ICICI bank is looting me with interest rate @14.00. When you contact them they have standard answers like you have opted for floating rate and PLR is taken into consideration which is as per government and RBI rules. God please help ICICI Customers.

                  ICICI Home Loan — Excess Interest rates

                  ICICI bank started with 9.5% to me and now is charging 13.5% in the name of floating interest. It though offers new customers at rate of 12%. when i asked them why, they said you pay a charge of 2% outstanding loan amt and we will also reduce your loan to 12%. WoW ! Currently Bank of Baroda is giving 9.5%. Is this fair trade practise or is it duping customers in name of floating rate of interest...
                  Yes, It is absloutely True, My case MY ROI starts with 11.00% Now it is 14% The new revised interest rate should be applicabale to all existing customer. Pl all existing customer join together and fight against ICICI bank, if required we can file a case in the court.
                  I really agree with this complain againist ICICI bank, I have taken loan for 15yrs home loan they have not intimated me and they increased terms from 15 to 38 yrs due to intrest hicke and i have to pay 5 times of my priciple amount after completion...other banks are providing home loan at 10.5% but this has increased to 13.5% ..after sanction of loan difficult to change from bank also.

                  This is to state that ICICI bank has not lowered floating interest rates even when other PVT banks linke HDFC have lowered it. Why are ICICI bank customers being punished.I took a home loan in 2006 and since then the bank has been super fast in increasing interest rates. I want the bank to heed to the advice of Finance minister and decrease the burden on its customers.
                  I also agree with this complain the interest rate is very much high than other bank. I had taken the loan in
                  2003 that time interest rate was 7.25 and now in 2009 it is 14.25.

                      I have taken a home loan from ICICI Bank in 2004. On 24.05.2008 I made part payment of Rs. 150000/- on 24.05.2008. My EMI date is 1st of each month. As per agreement, interest is on monthly reducing balance. Although I have paid in the month of May, but my balance as on 01/06/ 2008 was not reduced to the extent principal repaid.

                      On enquiry it was informed (orally) that this is the normal practice in Bank. On protest they told, wherever you want to complain, you can, this is the procedure in ICICI Bank.

                      I am unable to understand if amount is paid as well as enchased also by bank on 01.06.2008, how Bank can charge interest on that amount for full month of June.

                      I want to bring to the notice to everyone that these Private Sector Bank are cheating to public . Is there any controlling agency in this country who can save innocent consumer from becoming victim of them

                      I have taken a home loan of Rs.1000000/- for 15 years tenure in floating interest rate. The Aggrement no: LBBAL[protected]. Pre EMI paid was Rs.25385/- from dated:31/12/2004 to 31/07/2005 . The initial offer given was 7.25 interest rate. When the loan was accepted the interest rate fixed was 8.5 with EMI Rs.9557/- per month for 15 years. After some months on 07/05/2006 again the interest rate was changed to 9%, the EMI was kept constant but the tenure was increased to some more year.Again the interest rate hiked to 10% from 07/08/2006, the tenure increased to another few more years.on 07/02/2007 the interest rate fixed at 10.5 & then increased to12.5% from 07/05/2007, the tenure increased to the max. limit & EMI increased to 10565/- per month. Even after paying 37 EMI, the CL.Principal is found to be Rs.948404/-. The last tenure is found to be 07/07/2030 for complition at this stage. This may again increase to many extent. I want to know that whether there is any control of RBI or any other rules these private Banks follows, on Home loans. As per my view there is some cheating. Many times the bank was asked regarding the calculation for Tenure increasing & EMI increasing, but they are not providing. All Private & PSU Bank must have similar calculation. Kindly look into the matter so that I can get justice against this type of cheating of ICICI HOME FINANCE LTD. Many customers are also facing similar type cheating from ICICI.

                      The home page of ICICI Home Finance have a compliment /complain on the right side but its quite disgusting to see the page does not open at all while the customer.care Id bounces the mail back.
                      Theres no email ids for the complain it seems its been purposely been done for not receiving the mails.
                      This is Deepak from Chennai. Whatever you told is absolutely true. I also took loan in ICICI in 2006 @ 7% pa but now repaying at 12.5%. When the bank increased the rates when other banks did, it is liable to decrase the same as well when other peers do.
                      Also RBI has no control with any of the banks. The concept of "floating" means fluctuations as per market conditions. Now the banks are reducing the interest rate for new loans but nobody is caring for existing loans. The concept of "floating" doesn't make any sense at all.
                      Now that you are an existing ICICI home loan customer, you can avail a new interest rate of 9.75%. The details of the same are given in the link below

                      ICICI Home Loan — Interest Rates not in tune to the Market

                      Dear Sir

                      I had taken a loan from the ICICI Bank for purchase of a Flat. Very well knowing that the interest rates would go down, I opted for a floating rate of Interest.

                      subsequently the Interest rates went up and the Bank was quick to increase the rates. When the downward trend started the bank is reluctant to decrease the rate at the same pace.

                      I had visited the Bank and sent several emails. Finally they have agreed to reqduce the interest rates from 12.5% to 8.75% if I pay a conversion charges of 1.75% + tax.

                      Earlier I had taken a loan from LICHFL and they had changed the rate of interest as per the market conditions without a fuss. Why are these private banks behaving so unresponsibly. Are these private banks not regulated.

                      I AM A SENIOR OFFICER OF A UNIVERSITY UNDER THE CONTROL OF THE MINISTRY OF HRD, GOVT OF INDIA..I HAVE BEEN ALLOTTED AN APARTMENT BY JAYPEE AT NOIDA.FOR THIS PURPOSE, I HAD APPLIED FOR A LOAN OF 20 LAKHS ONLY .THE MANAGER OF THE BANK IS SHRI SAURAV SHARMA, SECTOR-15 NOIDA.HE SPOKE TO ME ON PHONE THAT HE WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO SANCTION ANY LOAN AS I HAVE 5 YEARS SERVICE.WHEN I SAID MY SON WHO IS A CO-APPLICANT AND CO-ALLOTTEE AND WHO IS ALSO A CONFIRMED EMPLOYEE WAS ALSO ELIGIBLE, HE SAID OK.I CAN SANCTION ONLY 11 LAKHS WHICH I AGREED.ALREADY A MONTH HAS PASSED AND I HAVE BEEN FED OF WITH FLIMSY AND LAUGHABLE OBJECTIONS ON DAY TODAY BASIS.I AM PAYING PENAL INTEREST ON DAY TODAY BASIS TO THE TUNE OF A FEW HUNDREDS.THE MANAGER SAYS THIS CUMBERSOME POLICY IS THE POLICY OF THE BANK.IF THAT IS SO WHY THE PUBLIC IS HOODWINKED?WHY NON-SENSICAL ADVERTISEMENTS ARE ISSUED THAT ICICI BANK IS VERY FAST AND WITHIN 5 DAYS LOAN WILL BE REALEASED.THIS IS ALL HOAX AND PUBLIC SHOULD KNOW YHE HARASSMENTS ONCE THEY ARE TRAPPED.I HAVE NOW NO OPTION BUT TO GO TO MEDIA AND PROMOTE PUBLIC AWARENESS IF MY GRIEVANCES ARE NOT LOOKED INTO BY THE HIGHER AUTHORITIES.LET THERE BE AN INVESTIGATION AS TO WHY IT TOOK SO MUCH OF TIME.?I NOW REPENT WHY I LEFT HDFC BANK AGAINSTTHE ADVICE OF MY NIECE WHO GOT THE LOAN WITHIN 7 WORKING DAYS.WHENEVER I SPEAK TO THE MANAGER HE SAYS I AM NOT IN MY OFFICE AND I WILL SPEAK TO U WITHIN NALF AN HOUR.I PROCEEDED TO THE BRANCH BUT EVERY TIME HE WAS ABSENT.IF THIS IS THE CONDITION OFTHE GOVT EMPLOEES WHOSE INCOME IS MORE THAN 1 LAKH RUPEES WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO OTHERS?                         I am holding icicidirect online share trading a/c since last 6yrs. But recently my account was suspended bcos the documents at there place were destroyed in floods. I had submitted my documents twice to a icicibank branch executive of Bhavnagar, but even than my account was not re activated. lastly i had submitted the documents to Ahmedabad branch of icicidirect on 28th june. I have been calling the branch and icici bank call center but my account is not yes activated.
                        Stay away from ICICIDirect.com. They have pathetic service quality. Not following SEBI mandate.
                        No point is escalating matters to Head of Service Quality of COO.They are hopeless...

                        Dont invest through ICICIDirect.com.

                          Hi,

                          My Savings Salaried account was opened in the year 1997 by the organization where I joined. Typically when salaried accounts are opened in any organization, a form is given to the new joinee as per the process instructions provided ny the relevant banks corporate executive who manages the account and queries for that organization. With vague memory as I remember, this ICICI Corporate Account executive gave me a form and took signatures and photographs.No details are provided as to the nature of the account except that this is a salaried account with a zero balance feature as we are associated with an organization.

                          Advantage: No minimum balance needs to be maintained as Salary credit would be at regular intervals.

                          I worked with the organization for four years and went on to join another place which had their salary accout with some other bank. I could have closed the account but went on to hold the account till date i.e. Jun 2008, by maintaining a good account balance much above the minimum balance accepted by the bank, as per their rules.
                          For seven years till Jan 2008, ICICI bank sleeps over the so called "PROCESS" which ideally is put in every organization to help customers or any operation and NOT make it a hindrance by "Follow the process for the heck of it".

                          In Jan 2008, I receive a letter stating that there have been no salary credits in my account and I am supposed to convert it into normal savings account by submitting certain documentation within a definite period else the my account will be blocked.

                          Do not know why they need to do this - If it was just for the heck of following process!! - Well it is acceptable if the rules related to salried account were briefed before hand but while selling corporate accounts this is not taken care of.

                          I call up their phone banking services with regards to the letter and they inform me that I need to submit the documentation as a process but my account would not be blocked as I have been maintaining my account balance much beyond their expectaion.!!

                          I doubly check this with the phone banking executive and he assures me of the same while I can submit my documents at my convenience!.

                          To my fortunate or unfortunate luck, I join another organizaton that has a tie up of salaried account wit ICICI. The so called ICICI corporate executive who takes care of salaried account corporate services gives me a orm. When I mention about an already existing account with ICICI, he gives me another form taking my signature and mentioning that I need not open another account as the name of the corporate will be changed and the same account can be continued to use as a corporate salary account.

                          As a customer, I trusted the executive.Threeconsecutive salaried credits and bank is happy. No reminders or letters for resubmission of documents!!

                          I leave the organization in threemonths to join another place and no salary credits take place for the month of June and July 2008.
                          But I maintain a balance required.(Ideally, its a quarterly minimum balance!!) Jun 2008, my minimum balance goes much below their expectation.

                          I was expecting funds in my account while I get to know that my account is frozen!!..Without intimation!!

                          When I call up Phone banking services, I am told, that I need to visit the branch and submit documents and there has been no salary credits since 2001.When I check with them of how cold they do this without intimation when there have been credit in the month of March, April, May 2008, they have no answer but there were no credits in June and July!! To top it all they tell as per process, the letter wold have reached me which is three weeks before freezing of account!!.I tell them I have not received their letter, if they could let me know when was the letter despatched AND NOT details of whether I have received!!. They tell me that the branch would have sent and they do not have any details...another big disconnect of the Phone banking and branch services despite everything being centralised!!

                          I also get to know that it is the customers duty to inform if they have left the organization and convert from salaried account to normal savings account..Which is never briefed by any of the so called corporate executives of the bank while selling corporate salaried account services.

                          I would definitely not recommend anybody to have any services taken from ICICI because o such a nasty pathetic services that only harasses the customer. I had to arrange for the funds to get transferred in another account!

                          ICICI — blocking icici savings account without proper intimation

                          i have centurion bank of Punjab credit card now that credit card section has been take overred by icici credit card. i am not getting proper call or statement related to that credit card but without intimating me they are blocking my savings account and taking what ever money they want. i don't how this is happening and i am fearing having savings account with icici. i am not gonna leave this issue i am planning to go ombudsman and other related concerns even to the media if i am not satisfied with icici service

On 26.06.2008 I have swiped my card on petrol pump and for one transaction double entries has happen which is reflecting in the transaction details. Kindly charge back my one transaction as there should be only one transaction successful. waiting for your reply.

                              On 12'th February 2008, someone had transferred Rs 1 Lakh from my account to other account Ac no:[protected] Meghna Arts. ICICI bank has clearly traced out this as a fraudulent account.
                              And on their request with great efforts we could finally file the FIR with the local police. Nothing has happened since then. It has been 5 long months and still no trace of any action being taken by the ICICI.
                              I have been an ICICI account holder for last 12 years and the minimum someone could have done was to update me on the status of my money being returned back to me.

                              Deeply frustrated on how the ICICI functions.

                                TILL DATE I HAVEN 'T USED MY CREDIT CARD, BUT BANK HAS GIVEN THE STATEMENT IN WHICH THEY HAVE STATED THAT I HAVE PAID A TELEPHONE BILL IN CHENNAI AND LIC PREMIUM IN MUMBAI BUT I AM LIVING IN RAJKOT.

                                AFTER SO MANY COMPLAIN THEY HAVE CONFIRMED THAT NO AMOUNT OUTSTANDING ON 26th DEC.2007 Ref. No. : 121207/193497C THROUGH EMAIL BY SHIPA GANAPA [ CUSTOMER SERVICE EXECUTIVE ].

                                BUT AFTER THAT THEY ARE CHARGING AUTO DEBIT CHARGES AND HARRESSING ME ON MY TELEPHONE .AFTER RECEIVING A LETTER FROM ICICI I HAVE DESTROYED MY CREDIT CARD AND THEY ARE DEMENDING THE PAYMENT AGAIN AND AGAIN.

                                  Credit Card Complaint

                                  I have taken credit card for ICICI Bank and the same has not been used till date.

                                  I have recd following bills in respect of my credit card for direct debit of mobile number.

                                  1.Vodafone bill dated 11.11.07-Rs.2292.52
                                  2.Vodafone bill dated 11.12.07-Rs.2068.85
                                  3.Vodafone bill dated 11.01.08-Rs.3868.30
                                  As no instructions had been issued by me for direct debit for any mobile bill the credit card bills were not paid by me on the following grounds which were intimated to ICICI Bank vide ltr dated 29.12.2007:
                                  1. No instructions for direct debit had been issued by me.
                                  2. Mobile bill charges for mobile which is not in my name from my personal credit card account
                                  3. Moreover, the Vodafone connection is in the Family scheme and the billing address and leader of remaining cards(total 6 members) did not belong to me.

                                  No action was taken by ICICI Bank and I was billed for late fees, interest payments for non-payment also. Reminder letters and mails followed and all the time I was being told to make payment for the said bills. Two personal visits to ICICI Bank office for submission of copies of Vodafone bills which were not in my name at Saki Naka have also not been fruitful. I have also been harrased by phone calls. I am an hypertension payment and mental torture is being done to me.

                                  I am now getting mailers that ICICI Bank has my consent (voice recording) for the registration of the Utility Bill Payment Services against the mobile number [protected] (registration on October 19, 2007) and hence I should make payment for the bills issued in the name of Mr.Sagar Bore, to avoid the levy of service charges.
                                  ICICI Bank credit card Welcome letter states, ”direct debit of mobile bill will be started only after successful confirmation of registration details by utility service provider”. Here again ICICI Bank has not confirmed that mobile no.[protected] is not in my name by ICICI Bank and have directly started debiting my credit card account.

                                  As per ICICI Bank they have received confirmation received from Vodafone, that payment towards Vodafone (Hutch number [protected]) Mumbai for Rs. 3, 868.30, Rs. 2, 068.85 and Rs. 2, 292.52 were updated at Billers end in customer's correct account.
                                  I have Vodafone bills which state that the above amounts are for bills issued in the name of Mr.Sagar Bore and against mobile number [protected] has following amounts i.r.o. following bill dates:
                                  11.11.07 769.72
                                  11.12.07 830.4
                                  11.01.08 1122.18

                                  Vodafone — Debit money from my credit card without my intimation

                                  Hi,

                                  I am using Vodafone number [protected] of Bangalore. I had canceled my automatic electronic clearance facility and converted to cash mode of payment several months back. Even then it used my credit card 3 times to pay the bill without my intimation.

                                  I blocked my old HSBC credit card account ([protected]) and issued another new credit card ([protected]) . But this bloody Vodafone deducted amount from my new credit card as well without having any ECS facility with the card.

                                    I have a ICICI credit card for the past 6 years and recently ICICI transferred the reward points to a unknown company called Imint without any notice.I redeemed all the points and the company has not delivered any thing promised till date.Repeated calls and mails go unanswered.The call center no. is always on pre recorded mode and no one responds.The company looks like a modern day fraud and people should be wary of dealing with such companies.ICICI bank conveniently washes off their hand saying Imint has all reward program details.

                                    ICICI Credit Card — Cheating the customers

                                    Hi,

                                    This is to inform that i had a bad experience with ICICI bank Cr card Division.
                                    I always pay the amount before the due date. But last week the cheque which i paid was not reflected in my account details. I called the customer service and reported the problem. Also i gave the cheque number, date and the ATM where i dropped my cheque for credit card payment. My due date was 16/7/2008. but i dropped the cheque on 07/07/2008 and it was debited from my savings account on 10/07/2008. i was calling ICICI customer care service everyday on this nuy didn't get proper response. One day they said it happened due to technical problem. But the next day they have charged Rs. 280 as interest saying that i didnt paid the amount before the due date which i paid before the due date, also they have auto debited Rs.56 from my savings account. Luckily i have a saving account in which i can have zero balance. otherwise they would have fined me saying that i didn't maintain balance. Don't know whom to contact on this.
                                    Who will take action against them for cheating the customers?
                                    whenever we find them cheating they say technical problem. Decided to stop my relationship with this bank.

                                    Imint Card — Redeem link never gets open

                                    I tried to open redeem link on imint card website however it never gets open. I tried it lots of times. Whenever you try to click any redeem link it gives server error.

                                    I think they do not want us to redeem anything.

                                    I agree with you Gridhar they are not at all responding to the calls that we make I have a suggestion when you call the customer care get your complaint registered and ask for the number and second time ask for Saha or Ali they are the floor managers get a hold of them and put pressure. One thing is for sure they are not at all responsive

                                    ICICI Credit Card — ICICI cheating the customers by making false promises about refunds

                                    Please be aware of ICICI credit cards, my cards was charged for late payment fee for the months of April, May, June and July and in all of these occasions I had called up the ICICI customer care to request the refund and in all of these occasions I was told was customer care that they have placed the request for refund and it will get reflected in the next statement.I have noticed in my credit card statement that NONE of these refunds have been actually made! When I called up the customer care again to check what happened they tell me that they didn't get any call from me for these refunds and refused to refund the late payment charged on my card.

                                    I fully agree with Mr. Giridhars comments posted on the net. In my case also ICICI Bank transferred all my reward points to imint without any advise written or otherwise and in the process I lost about 1000 points. No amount of tel calls/messages to ICICI Bank and imint solicited any meaningful reply till I wrote to Mr KV Kamath, erstwhile CMD of ICICI Bank in January 2009. Only last week I have recd a sms from imint expressing regret for the mistake and advising me my current tally of reward points. Now I learn that imint do not even have a brochure of the gift items that are available against the reward points and one has to have internet facility to view and order the gifts. Fortunately I have it now but a lot many of the older generation are not computer-savvy or do not have net facility. What imint and ICICI propose to do about it?? In my case I have lost the original i mint card and have sent a email to imint to advise me the number and courier a duplicate card...let us see how long it takes for them to ACT. I ALSO STRONGLY FEEL THAT IT IS ICICI BANKS FAULT TO THROW US TO THE WOLVES, SO TO SPEAK AND BE AT THEIR MERCY IN THESE CUSTOMER-ORIENTED TIMES.
                                    I completely agree with the complaints posted above, this sick customer service of I-mint points really get on my nerves and also they work on the limited hours and that too on a number which is not even toll free. They take really long hours to answer the query and infact they are not even aware what the customer is actually enquiring about. Secondly the website of Imint is one of the sickest website i've ever seen, whenever you try to login it says wrong password even the password received in the mail through imint when you choose forgot password option. Thirdly the products they show on the website, half of them are not available when you order for. Last time when i interacted with the customer service, they took more than an hour to address the query and why did i call them, i called them because of their mistake. The debited the points from my card without even notifying me and when i called them up, they are not even aware of the points being debited. Imint is the sickest company i have ever seen my life so far.

                                    my experience with ICICI creditcard is not pleasant. I fully endorse the comments that without consent of the customer ICICI cards have transfered the reward point to imint. This company redeems the reward points at great discount. I understand each reward point is equal to 1 point per 100 rupees purchase o but i mint offers 500Rs 0gift voucher against[protected] imint points. Cannot understand how the value of reward points is discounted by i mint ?

                                    Yes it is true that I mint is completely a fraud company and since last two months I have been unable to access their website www.imint.in Ultimately, I called to customer care of ICICI bank and they gave me a phone number[protected] of I mint and when I tried to lodge a complaint on this phone number regarding unable to access their website, a simply reply came that pl try from somewhere else and the most surprising thing is that till date I have not received any card from I mint whereas they are saying that it had been delivered to me on 5th February, 10 and inspite of so many complaints I could not understand that why a bank like ICICI is not taking any drastic action against these people or the bank ICICI itself is involved in such types of frauds and malpractises

                                    I revived the new "Citi Cash Rewards Credit Card" on 25.03.2010. The card number is [protected]. I had booked this card online by clicking on the advertisement which said "Book Your card and get 1 IPL" ticket free. I went ahead and applied for the card in the 1st week of March 2010. I had called Citibank yesterday to enquirer about IPL ticket. To my surprise they said that, your are not applicable for this offer as it has ended. Well I was bit annoyed. Explained them that you had the offer and now you say I am not eligible. They said the offer was valid from 21st of Feb to 20th of March. I said I booked during the offer period only. Later I get a answer that you should have read the "Terms And Condition's". They never mentioned that in the advertisement which was posted in the citibank website.

                                    Today when I opened the http://www.citibank.co.in/ site, they have mentioned another scream where you can get 2 complimentary airline tickets if you book citi cash rewards credit card and to my surprise they have mentioned the validity date till Aug 15 2010.

                                    So my concern is why the same wasn't specified when I booked the credit card which should have mentioned the validity date.

                                    Anyways I am going to return this card back. I never expected this from Citibank, though I am holding my salary account and credit card.

                                    I have undergone a lot of harrasment in the hands of ICICI bank credit card department as I once happend to call on the helpline for the payment confirmation of my credit card and I was told by one of the executive that the ICICI bank is providing me the facility o[censored]pgradation of my current gold card to titanium card free of cost so therefore I had placed a request for the same and was told that I would get the same in 7 working days but the card was never delivered to me till date despite several reminders made by me on the helpline and everytime I was told that the card would be delivered to me in 7 working days moreover I had placed the request for the same 5-6 times from may 2010 till date but to no avail, Also their helpline is chargeable unlike other banks.

I have never noticed or they (ICICI or i-mint) have informed separately regarding the expiry o[censored]nused i-mint points. When Citibank can give good rewarding response in redeeming the points why ICICI should transfer the job to sick company.                                     Yes. ICICI is big fraud bank. I could not believe that Mr. Kamath who is Chairman of the Bank, who has great name in the business world has done this stupid thing. I think he only thinks for bank but not for the people who are depositing their money in his bank or the peoples who are using their debit/credit card. The imint is just looting the credit card holders. I give you one example. To get a Rs.300/- pen drive you have to spend Rs.1, 25, 000/- by credit card which give you 1250 points. So imint and ICICI are thinks that peoples are so fool. Yes Mr. Kamath please answer.

                                    Refer my complaint here on 05 Jul 11, I was surprised to receive the call fro I-Mint on same day, asking for details of the product redeemed. They asked me to return the bed linen for investigation. The call was followed up on email too. I promptly returned the bed linen to Bangalore office. After 2 days I received a call from I-Mint/Payback that they will re-imburse the points back within 8 to 10 days.

I have tried so many times for redemption but imint not tracebale on phone or web. this is fraud by icici bank. the customer care also not giving any proper response. So friend be careful, dont trust ICICI bank.

                                      On 6/21/08. some one hacked their website (or ICICI bank has glitch in their program)and debited my account : XXXXXXXX for 196000/-.
                                      On 6/23/08 I received a mail from Mr. Umang Shah asking me or my relative in India to contact him regarding Internet Fund Transfer .
                                      On 6/24/08 As I was not sure if the mail was genuine and from ICICI bank, I replied to his email “What Fund Transfer are you talking about.?” Please contact me at USA no.
                                      On 6/28/08 as I did not hear from him I had some doubts about the mail. So I tried to log on to my account through Internet but I could not log on as it was stating that my UserID is disabled. So I contact customer service at [protected]. Just to assure I asked the balance and was shocked to hear the balance. Then I contacted the Mr. Umang Shah - Investigating officer of ICICI bank, Rupa Chanda - Assistant Manager -they confirmed that my account as well as several others accounts were debited fraudulently.
                                      I tried to talk to the Branch manager but she was not willing to talk to me.
                                      Same night Rupa Chanda called me to assure that it was a fraud and my money will be returned.
                                      From customer servise also they assured the same that I will get my money back.

                                      Now they do not want to take any responsibility and do not even want to talk to me because they know its ICICI bank fault. Either ICICI bank has glitch in their Internet Banking or their internal IT employees are involved.
                                      Since then I have been trying to get in touch with a responsible authority of ICICI bank as these customer care banking officers and the Branch Officer do not want to talk to us and disconnect my phone.
                                      I want to lodge a complain against ICICI bank – Ghatkoper Branch as NO ONE CAN HACK A SECURED WEB SITE OF A BANK LIKE ICICI WITHOUT THE HELP OF ICICI BANK INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY DEPARTMENT.
                                      Also please note that they came to know about the fraud on 6/23/08 and did not even bother to call me and confirm if I did that transaction. On 6/28/08 Mr. Umang Shah told me that when Mr. Shakeel Amed’s account [protected] was credited with lots of money from my account and several other account holder they were alert and kept a watch on his account.
                                      I want to point out ICICI bank irresponsibility (On purpose as employees are involved in this) here is :-
                                      1. Why they waited and did not freeze his account or questioned him immediately.
                                      2. Why they waited till MR. Shakeel Ahmed took out all the money from his account.
                                      3. In banking system whenever there are suspicious transaction like this an Alert Flag is raised and respective Team is informed about this so that they can keep a watch on it.
                                      4. ICICI does not allow to withdraw more than 25000/ per day from ATM. In banking system there is a limit restriction to transfer money via Internet Banking. How cum my account was debited for 196000/.
                                      5. Here again when his account was credited with tons of money why the team did not contact us immediately.
                                      How cum these hackers do not hack our national banks. If these are hacker then they will hack any web site even the national banks.
                                      Now ICICI bank does not want to take any responsibility. It seems there are lots of complain against ICICI bank with cyber police of Bombay . I spoke to the Inspector of Cyber Police and they confirmed that they get lots of complain about ICICI bank.
                                      Working as a systems analyst in IT of Bank of America we know that this kind of hacking is not possible without the help of ICICI bank employees.
                                      These private banks like ICICI hire morally cheap employees who do this kind of hacking with partnership of outsider and get away clean.

                                      So what happened with the complaint. Have they finally recovered money or you lost the money? ICICI is a major bank and till now I was relying on them to take care of my funds but after reading your story I think we should not trust the bank.
                                      ICICI has cheated thousands of customer. ICICI is a fraud. I request all the reader please be careful with ICICI. Do not apply for any credit card. Do not try big transactions through ICICI online system. They have various agents. Through them they create face credit cards, and all the illegal things. Finally, they threat you in call. They send agents(local gundas) to your home. Be careful with ICICI bank. DO NOT TRUST ON THEM.
