Dear Sir,

I have a problem regarding with my income tax return .In assessment year 2007-08, i have deposited tax in income tax department .But i found that i have deposited 5339 Rs.more from actual amount .I got a letter from income tax dep. in which it was mention that they will return me 5339 rs. .Few month ago one person from income tax dep. brought a cheque of that amount but he said that he will give this cheque only when i will give him 500 rs. I denied to give him 500 rs. So he also denied to give me my cheque and returned from there without giving my cheque .Now I have no information about my cheque.So pls help me and give me needful information about my cheque .I am attaching 2 files for your needful information. Pls find this attachment enclosed herewith.

Income Tax Department — Not received the tax refund

Dear Sir / Madam,

I have been filing tax refunds regularly from 1997. I started filing returns in Pune from 2005 and I have not received any refunds since then. The total refund is close to Rs. 90, 000.

It is very difficult to get any logical answere from the tax department. Can some one help me to get my refunds.

I have filed return for Financial year-2004-05 on 6th Feb 2007 Ack No [protected] at ITO 3(2), Varanasi claming Refund Of Rs 3984.00.
For Financial Year 2005-06 I have filed Return on 6th Feb 2007 Ack No [protected] claming Refund of Rs 3500.00 .
For Financial Year 2006-07 I have filed Return Electronically on 4/11/07 Ack No[protected] claming Refund of Rs 4150.00 and hard copy of ITR V Filed on ITO 3(2) Varanasi on 11/02/2008 Ack No 32100511

I have made several enquiry in department they have told me For Year 2004-05 & 2005-06 Return was not processed by system although entry was made in system and entry No is 311.with this forum I request you to do some steps .

INCOME TAX Deptt. — Wrong fathers name in my pan card

Sir/Madam,
I have recd my Pan Card No. BHDPK3293G, but there is some mistake in my Pan Card. There is wrongly printed my Father's name Sita Kansal instead of Sita Ram Kansal.
Please verify this mistake and allow me verified Pan Card.

Refund Issue — Income Tax Refund (2006 - 2007)

Its seems to be a very sorry figure that all of hold, the irony is that the Income tax department or babus ask for 10% comission on the refund amount.
Well, I am also expecting a 25000 refund on return filed in[protected], till date there is no clue where the reund is. There is no place you can go ahead and find out. They say everything is happening from Bombay. It feels so disguting at time, to see that we need to pay comminsion on getting our money back which is unfortunately gone in the hands of Government.
I am still not sure how many more years i will have to wait to get my money back and what comission will i have to pay.

Please suggest if there is any law and order / procedure to get this.

income tax returns — Refund amount for 2007-08 not received still

I have submitted the income tax retuns of 2007-08 in the last year and the refund amount is approx.4800. still i have not received the amount and i have opted for an cheque payment but even after one year i have not yet received. Please do the needful

My PAN CARD NO. IS.AFRPM2823B. I have received the tax refund amount but mention the S.B.
ACCOUNT is closed and could not encash the cheque and return the cheque to the SBI/MUMBAI
Branch by Reg.post with Ack.due on 08.04.2009. The refund cheque amount for RS.14, 120/- dt.on
01.04.2009 for the assessment yr.[protected] and the cheuqe no. is 244583. I have not received the
correction of the cheque and reply till date. Kindly do the needful.
