Respected Sir,

1. I would like to inform you that I have filled an IT return for assesment year[protected] on 04 August 2010 under PAN No APSPK0235N, while serving in the Army (9 Inf Div Sig Regt, C/o 56 APO, Meerut – 250001). Now I have been retired from Army on 01 May 2011 and residing on the above mentioned address.

2. On 21 August 2011, I have checked online TDS refund and seen the status as "Expired : Refund cheque not deposited in bank for 90 days". After that I have contacted to my friend in my unit (Meerut). He traced out my cheque bearing machine No 664666 dated 14 May 2011 and forwarded to me by speed post, which was received me on 02 September 2011.

3. On 05 September 2011, I have contacted to Aaykat Sampark Kendra on phone No[protected], he advised me that copy of acknowledgement receipt of IT return, original cheque and clarification letter has to be sent to SBI, Mumbai as address given on cheque.

4. I have already sent the follwoing documents for your ready references vide spped post No A RG[protected]IN dated 12.09.2011 :-

(a) Copy of acknowledgement receipt of IT return.
(b) Original cheque.
(c) Copy of my account's cheque.
(d) Copy of PAN card.

5. In view of the above, may I request you kind honour, either issue fresh cheque of Rs 2400/- (Rupees Two thousand four hundred only) in favour of me or deposit in my SBI account No. [protected], MICR code[protected]SBI, Ranip, Ahmedabad).

6. I shall be highly grateful to you for this act of kindness.
