Indane Gas — Require Gas connection

We would like to inform you that, i am staying in bangalore past 5 years. i need Gas connection for my house. i have visited indane office, he told ration card to be required and mandatory. I have so many time try to get ration card, but come to vain. i have got election id card. if i get indane gas what is the procedure without ration card. Please suggest........................
